1 O h Pastor de Israel, escucha; tú que pastoreas como a ovejas a José, que estás entre querubines, resplandece.

Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, Thou that leadest Joseph like a flock; Thou that sittest above the cherubim, shine forth.

2 D espierta tu valentía delante de Efraín, y de Benjamín, y de Manasés, y ven a salvarnos.

Before Ephraim and Benjamin and Manasseh, stir up thy might, And come to save us.

3 O h Dios, haznos tornar; y haz resplandecer tu rostro, y seremos salvos.

Turn us again, O God; And cause thy face to shine, and we shall be saved.

4 S EÑOR, Dios de los ejércitos, ¿Hasta cuándo humearás tú contra la oración de tu pueblo?

O Jehovah God of hosts, How long wilt thou be angry against the prayer of thy people?

5 L es diste a comer pan de lágrimas, y les diste a beber lágrimas con medida.

Thou hast fed them with the bread of tears, And given them tears to drink in large measure.

6 N os pusiste por contienda a nuestros vecinos; y nuestros enemigos se burlan de nosotros entre sí.

Thou makest us a strife unto our neighbors; And our enemies laugh among themselves.

7 O h Dios de los ejércitos, haznos tornar; y haz resplandecer tu rostro, y seremos salvos.

Turn us again, O God of hosts; And cause thy face to shine, and we shall be saved.

8 ¶ Hiciste venir una vid desde Egipto; echaste los gentiles, y la plantaste.

Thou broughtest a vine out of Egypt: Thou didst drive out the nations, and plantedst it.

9 L impiaste sitio delante de ella, e hiciste arraigar sus raíces, y llenó la tierra.

Thou preparedst room before it, And it took deep root, and filled the land.

10 L os montes fueron cubiertos de su sombra; y sus ramas como cedros de Dios.

The mountains were covered with the shadow of it, And the boughs thereof were like cedars of God.

11 E nvió sus ramas hasta el mar, y hasta el río sus renuevos.

It sent out its branches unto the sea, And its shoots unto the River.

12 ¿ Por qué aportillaste sus vallados, y la vendimian todos los que pasan por el camino?

Why hast thou broken down its walls, So that all they that pass by the way do pluck it?

13 L a estropeó el puerco montés, y la pació la bestia del campo.

The boar out of the wood doth ravage it, And the wild beasts of the field feed on it.

14 O h Dios de los ejércitos, vuelve ahora; mira desde el cielo, y ve, y visita esta vid,

Turn again, we beseech thee, O God of hosts: Look down from heaven, and behold, and visit this vine,

15 y la viña que tu diestra plantó, y sobre el renuevo que corroboraste para ti.

And the stock which thy right hand planted, And the branch that thou madest strong for thyself.

16 Q uemada a fuego está, y talada; perezcan por la reprensión de tu rostro.

It is burned with fire, it is cut down: They perish at the rebuke of thy countenance.

17 S ea tu mano sobre el varón de tu diestra, sobre el hijo del hombre que corroboraste para ti.

Let thy hand be upon the man of thy right hand, Upon the son of man whom thou madest strong for thyself.

18 A sí no nos volveremos de ti; nos darás vida, e invocaremos tu Nombre.

So shall we not go back from thee: Quicken thou us, and we will call upon thy name.

19 O h SEÑOR, Dios de los ejércitos, haznos tornar; haz resplandecer tu rostro, y seremos salvos.

Turn us again, O Jehovah God of hosts; Cause thy face to shine, and we shall be saved.
