1 ( По слав. 32). Радвайте се праведници, в Господа; Прилично е за праведните да въздават хваление.

Rejoice in the Lord, O you righteous; for praise is becoming and appropriate for those who are upright.

2 Х валете Господа с арфа, Псалмопейте Му с десетострунен псалтир.

Give thanks to the Lord with the lyre; sing praises to Him with the harp of ten strings.

3 П ейте Му нова песен, Свирете изкусно с възклицание.

Sing to Him a new song; play skillfully with a loud and joyful sound.

4 З ащото словото на Господа е право, И всичките Му дела са <извършени> с вярност.

For the word of the Lord is right; and all His work is done in faithfulness.

5 Т ой обича правда и правосъдие; Земята е пълна с милосърдието Господно.

He loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of the loving-kindness of the Lord.

6 Ч рез словото на Господа станаха небесата, И чрез дишането на устата Му цялото им множество.

By the word of the Lord were the heavens made, and all their host by the breath of His mouth.

7 Т ой събра като куп морските води, Тури бездните в съкровищници.

He gathers the waters of the sea as in a bottle; He puts the deeps in storage places.

8 Н ека се бои от Господа цялата земя; Нека благоговеят с боязън пред Него всичките жители на вселената.

Let all the earth fear the Lord; let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him.

9 З ащото Той каза, и стана; Той заповяда, и затвърди се.

For He spoke, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast.

10 Г оспод осуетява намеренията на народите; Прави безполезни мислите на племената.

The Lord brings the counsel of the nations to nought; He makes the thoughts and plans of the peoples of no effect.

11 Н амеренията на Господа стоят твърди до века, Мислите на сърцето Му из род в род.

The counsel of the Lord stands forever, the thoughts of His heart through all generations.

12 Б лажен оня народ, на когото Бог е Господ, Людете, които е изброил за Свое наследство.

Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people He has chosen as His heritage.

13 Г оспод наднича от небето, Наблюдава всичките човешки чада;

The Lord looks from heaven, He beholds all the sons of men;

14 О т местообиталището Си Гледа на всичките земни жители, -

From His dwelling place He looks upon all the inhabitants of the earth—

15 О нзи, Който създаде сърцата на всички тях, Който познава всичките им работи.

He Who fashions the hearts of them all, Who considers all their doings.

16 Н икой цар не се избавя чрез многочислена войска Силен <мъж> не се отървава чрез голямо юначество.

No king is saved by the great size and power of his army; a mighty man is not delivered by much strength.

17 Б езполезен е конят за избавление, И чрез голямата си сила не може да избави <никого>.

A horse is devoid of value for victory; neither does he deliver any by his great power.

18 Е то, окото на Господа е върху ония, които Му се боят, Върху ония, които се надяват на Неговата милост,

Behold, the Lord’s eye is upon those who fear Him, who wait for Him and hope in His mercy and loving-kindness,

19 З а да избави от смърт душата им, И в глад да ги опази живи.

To deliver them from death and keep them alive in famine.

20 Д ушата ни чака Господа; Той е помощ наша и щит наш.

Our inner selves wait for the Lord; He is our Help and our Shield.

21 З ащото в Него ще се весели сърцето ни, Понеже на Неговото свето име уповахме.

For in Him does our heart rejoice, because we have trusted (relied on and been confident) in His holy name.

22 Д ано бъде милостта Ти, Господи, върху нас Според както сме се надявали на Тебе.

Let Your mercy and loving-kindness, O Lord, be upon us, in proportion to our waiting and hoping for You.
