1 П ак дойде към мене Господното слово и рече:

Again the word of the Lord came to me, saying,

2 С ине човешки, направи да познае Ерусалим мерзостите си, като речеш:

Son of man, cause Jerusalem to know, understand, and realize her abominations are disgusting, detestable, and shamefully vile.

3 Т ака казва Господ Иеова на ерусалимската <дъщеря>: Произходът ти и рождението ти е от Ханаанската земя; Баща ти бе амореец, а майка ти хетейка.

And say, Thus says the Lord God to Jerusalem: Your origin and your birth are thoroughly Canaanitish; your father was an Amorite and your mother a Hittite.

4 А при раждането ти, В деня, когато си се родила, пъпът ти не е бил отрязан, Нито си била къпана във вода за да се очистиш, Със сол не си била насолявана, нито в пелени повивана.

And as for your birth, on the day you were born your navel cord was not cut, nor were you washed with water to cleanse you, nor rubbed with salt or swaddled with bands at all.

5 О ко не те е пощадило Та да ти направи някое от тия неща и да те пожали; Но в деня, когато си се родила, Понеже са се погнусили от тебе, Била си изхвърлена по лицето на полето.

No eye pitied you to do any of these things for you, to have compassion on you; but you were cast out in the open field, for your person was abhorrent and loathsome on the day that you were born.

6 И когато заминах край тебе и те видях, че се валяше в кръвта си, Рекох ти <като беше> в кръвта си: Да си жива; Да! рекох ти <като беше> в кръвта си: Да си жива.

And when I passed by you and saw you rolling about in your blood, I said to you in your blood, Live! Yes, I said to you still in your natal blood, Live!

7 Н аправих те да нарастеш извънредно, като полската трева; И ти порасна и стана голяма, И достигна превъзходна красота; Гърдите ти се образуваха, и космите ти растяха; Но ти беше гола и непокрита.

I caused you to multiply as the bud which grows in the field, and you increased and became tall and you came to full maidenhood and beauty; your breasts were formed and your hair had grown, yet you were naked and bare.

8 И когато заминах край тебе и те погледнах, Ето, възрастта ти беше любовна възраст; И тъй, като прострях полата Си върху тебе та покрих голотата ти, Клех ти се и стъпих в завет с тебе, Казва Господ Иеова; и ти стана Моя.

Now I passed by you again and looked upon you; behold, you were maturing and at the time for love, and I spread My skirt over you and covered your nakedness. Yes, I plighted My troth to you and entered into a covenant with you, says the Lord, and you became Mine.

9 Т огава те окъпах с вода; Да! измих кръвта ти от тебе, И помазах те с миро.

Then I washed you with water; yes, I thoroughly washed away your blood from you and I anointed you with oil.

10 О блякох те още във везани <дрехи>, И те обух с чехли от язовски кожи, Опасах те с висон, И те покрих с копринена покривалка.

I clothed you also with embroidered cloth and shod you with leather; and I girded you about with fine linen and covered you with silk.

11 У красих те още с накити, Турих гривни на ръцете ти И огърлица около шията ти,

I decked you also with ornaments and I put bracelets on your wrists and a chain on your neck.

12 Т урих и колелце на ноздрите ти, Обеци на ушите ти, И славен венец на главата ти.

And I put a ring on your nostril and earrings in your ears and a beautiful crown upon your head!

13 Т ака ти се украси със злато и сребро; И дрехите ти бяха от висон, коприна и везано; Ти ядеше чисто брашно, мед и масло; И стана превъзходно красива, И напреднала си дори до царско положение.

Thus you were decked with gold and silver, and your raiment was of fine linen and silk and embroidered cloth; you ate fine flour and honey and oil. And you were exceedingly beautiful and you prospered into royal estate.

14 Т и още се прочу между народите по твоята хубост, Защото тя стана съвършена чрез Моето величие, С което те облякох, казва Господ Иеова.

And your renown went forth among the nations for your beauty, for it was perfect through My majesty and splendor which I had put upon you, says the Lord God.

15 Н о поради известността си Ти си уповавала на хубостта си и си блудствувала, И към всеки, който минаваше, си изливала блудството си; и то е станало негово.

But you trusted in and relied on your own beauty and were unfaithful to God and played the harlot because of your renown, and you poured out your fornications upon anyone who passed by and your beauty was his.

16 И взела си от дрехите си, И като си украсила издигнатите си места с пъстри шарки Си блудствувала на тях. <Такова нещо> не е било нито ще бъде.

And you took some of your garments and made for yourself gaily decorated high places or shrines and played the harlot on them—things which should not come and that which should not take place.

17 Т оже си взела лъскавите накити От Моето злато и от Моето сребро, което Аз бях ти дал, И като си си направила <от тях> мъжки образи Си блудствувала с тях;

You did also take your fair jewels and beautiful vessels of My gold and My silver which I had given you and made for yourself images of men, and you played the harlot with them;

18 В зела си и везаните си дрехи та си ги покрила, И турила си пред тях Моето масло и Моя темян;

And you took your embroidered garments and covered them and set My oil and My incense before them.

19 С ъщо и Моя хляб, който ти дадох, - Чистото брашно, маслото и меда, с които те хранех, - Дори тия си положила пред тях за благоухание. Така стана, казва Господ Иеова.

My bread also which I gave you—fine flour and oil and honey with which I fed you—you have even set it before the idols for a sweet odor. Thus it was, says the Lord God.

20 П ри това, си взела синовете и дъщерите, Които си Ми родила, И тях си им пожертвувала да бъдат изядени. Малко ли бяха <тия> твои блудства

Moreover, you have taken your sons and your daughters whom you have borne to Me, and you have sacrificed them to be destroyed. Were your harlotries too little,

21 Т а си заклала <и> чадата Ми, и си ги предала Да бъдат преведени през <огъня> за тях?

That you have slain My children and delivered them up, in setting them apart and causing them to pass through the fire for ?

22 И във всичките си мерзости и блудства Не си помнила дните на младостта си, Когато ти беше гола и непокрита и се валяше в кръвта си.

And in all your abominations and idolatrous whoredoms you have not remembered the days of your youth when you were naked and bare, rolling about in your natal blood.

23 И над всички <тия> си злини, (Горко, горко ти! казва Господ Иеова),

And after all your wickedness—Woe, woe to you! says the Lord God—

24 С ъградила си за себе си и блудилище, И на всяка улица си направила за себе си издигнато място.

You have built also for yourself a vaulted chamber (brothel) and have made a high place in every street.

25 Н а всеки кръстопът си съградила издигнато място, Направила си хубостта си гнусна, И като си разтворила краката си на всеки, който минаваше, Блудствувала си твърде много.

At every crossway you built your high place and have made your beauty an abomination; and you have made your body available to every passerby and multiplied your harlotry.

26 Б лудствувала си и с египтяните, Едрите си съседи, И като си блудствувала твърде много си Ме разгневила.

You have also played the harlot with the Egyptians, your neighbors, whose worship is thoroughly sensuous, and you have multiplied your harlotry to provoke Me to anger.

27 Е то, прочее, прострях ръката Си върху тебе, Намалих определената ти храна, и те предадох на волята на ония, Които те мразят, - на филистимските дъщери, Които се срамуват от твоите позорни постъпки.

Behold therefore, I have stretched out My hand against you, diminished your ordinary allowance of food, and delivered you over to the will of those who hate and despise you, the daughters of the Philistines, who turned away in shame from your despicable policy and lewd behavior!

28 Б лудствувала си и с асирийците, Защото не си се наситила; Да! блудствувала си с тях, Но пак не си се наситила.

You played the harlot also with the Assyrians because you were unsatiable; yes, you played the harlot with them, and yet you were not satisfied.

29 П ри това, блудствувала си твърде много. Дори до оная търговска земя, до Халдейската; И пак нито така си се наситила.

Moreover, you multiplied your harlotry with the land of trade, with Chaldea, and yet even with this you were not satisfied.

30 К олко е слабо сърцето ти, казва Господ Иеова, Като вършиш всички тия работи, Дело на безочлива блудница!

How weak and spent with longing and lust is your heart and mind, says the Lord God, seeing you do all these things, the work of a bold, domineering harlot,

31 З ащото си съградила блудилището си на всеки кръстопът, И си направила издигнатото си място във всяка улица, А <пък> не си станала като блудница, защото си презряла заплата,

In that you build your vaulted place (brothel) at the head of every street and make your high place at every crossing. But you were not like a harlot because you scorned pay.

32 & lt;Но си била като> жена прелюбодейца, Която приема чужди мъже, вместо своя си.

Rather, you were as an adulterous wife who receives strangers instead of her husband!

33 Н а всичките блудници дават заплата; Но ти даваш даровете си на всичките си любовници, И ги подкупваш, за да дохождат при тебе отвред И да блудствуват с тебе.

Men give gifts to all harlots, but you give your gifts to all your lovers and hire them, bribing, that they may come to you on every side for your harlotries (your idolatrous unfaithfulnesses to God).

34 Т ъй че в блудствата ти става с тебе противното на <онова що става с другите> жени, Защото никой не те следва за да блудствува <с тебе>; И понеже ти даваш заплата, а на тебе заплата не дават, <Пак>, поради това, става с тебе противното.

And you are different from other women in your harlotries, in that nobody follows you to lure you into harlotry and in that you give hire when no hire is given you; and so you are different.

35 З атова, чуй, блуднице, словото Господно.

Therefore, O harlot, hear the word of the Lord!

36 Т ака казва Господ Иеова: Понеже си изливала парите {Или: Гнусотата. <Еврейски>: Медта.} си, И голотата ти се е открила в блудствата ти с любовниците ти, И поради всичките твои мерзостни идоли, И поради кръвта на чадата ти, които си им принесла, -

Thus says the Lord God: Because your brass and your filthiness were emptied out and your nakedness uncovered through your harlotries with your lovers, and because of all the idols of your abominations, and the blood of your children that you gave to them,

37 П оради тия неща, ето, Аз ще събера всичките твои любовници, С които си се наслаждавала, И всички, които си възлюбила, Заедно с всички, които си намразила, - Ще ги събера против тебе отвред, И ще им открия голотата ти, За да видят всичката ти голота.

Therefore behold, I will gather all your lovers with whom you have taken pleasure, and all those whom you have loved with all those whom you have hated; I will even gather them against you on every side and will uncover your nakedness to them, that they may see all your nakedness.

38 И ще те съдя Според както се съдят такива жени, Които прелюбодействуват и проливат кръв; И ще нанеса върху тебе кръвно <наказание> с ярост и ревнование.

And I the Lord will judge you as women who break wedlock and shed blood are judged, and I will bring upon you the blood of wrath and jealousy.

39 Т оже ще те предам в ръката им; И те ще съборят блудилището ти, Ще разорят издигнатите ти места, Ще те съблекат още от дрехите ти, Ще отнемат лъскавите ти накити, И ще те оставят гола и непокрита.

And I will also give you into the hand of those, and they shall throw down your vaulted place (brothel) and shall demolish your high places; they shall strip you of your clothes and shall take your splendid jewels and leave you naked and bare.

40 И ще доведат против тебе много народ, Които ще те убият с камъни И ще те прободат със сабите си.

They shall also bring up a company against you, and they shall stone you with stones and hew down and thrust you through with their swords.

41 Щ е изгорят с огън къщите ти, И ще извършат съдби над тебе пред очите на много жени; И Аз ще те направя да се оставиш от блудството, И няма да даваш вече заплата.

And they shall burn your houses with fire and execute judgments upon you before the eyes of many women spectators. And I will cause you to cease playing the harlot, and you also shall give hire no more.

42 Т ака ще се уталожи яростта Ми против тебе, И ревнованието Ми спрямо тебе ще престане; И Аз ще утихна, и няма вече да се гневя,

So will I make My wrath toward you to rest and My jealousy shall depart from you, and I will be quiet and will be no more angry.

43 П онеже не си си спомнила за дните на младостта си, Но си Ме дразнила с всичко това, Затуй, ето, и Аз ще възвърна върху главата ти постъпките ти, Казва Господ Иеова; И няма да извършиш <тоя> разврат Над всичките си мръсни дела.

Because you have not remembered the days of your youth but have enraged Me with all these things, therefore behold, I also will bring your deeds down on your own head, says the Lord God. Did you not commit this lewdness above and in addition to all your other abominations?

44 Е то, всеки, който си служи с поговорки, Ще употреби <тая> поговорка против тебе, Като рече: Каквато майката, такава и дъщерята.

Behold, everyone who uses proverbs will use this proverb against you: As is the mother, so is her daughter.

45 Т и си дъщеря на майка си, <На оная>, която отметна мъжа си и чадата си; Ти си сестра на сестрите си, Които отметнаха мъжете си и чадата си; Майка ви бе хетейка, и баща ви амореец.

You are your mother’s daughter who loathed her husband and her children, and you are the sister of your sisters who loathed their husbands and their children. Your mother was a Hittite and your father an Amorite.

46 П о-голямата ти сестра е Самария, Тя и дъщерите й, които живеят от ляво ти; А по-малката ти сестра е Содом и дъщерите й, Които живеят отдясно ти.

And your elder sister is Samaria, she and her daughters who dwelt in the north and at your left hand; and your younger sister who dwelt in the south and at your right hand is Sodom and her daughters.

47 А ти не си ходила <само> по техните пътища, Нито си направила <само> по техните мерзости, Но, като да беше това много малко, Си надминала разврата им във всичките си пътища.

Yet you were not satisfied to walk after their ways or to do after their abominations, but very soon you were more corrupt in all your ways than they were.

48 В живота Си <се заклевам>, казва Господ Иеова, Ни сестра ти Содом направи, ни дъщерите й, Както направи ти и твоите дъщери.

As I live, says the Lord God, Sodom your sister has not done, she nor her daughters, as you have done, you and your daughters.

49 Е то що беше беззаконието на сестра ти Содом, Нейното и на дъщерите й: Гордост, пресищане с храна и безгрижно спокойствие; А сиромахът и немощният не подкрепяше;

Behold, this was the iniquity of your sister Sodom: pride, overabundance of food, prosperous ease, and idleness were hers and her daughters’; neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy.

50 Т е се и възгордяха и вършеха мерзости пред Мене; Затуй, като видях това, махнах ги.

And they were haughty and committed abominable offenses before Me; therefore I removed them when I saw it and I saw fit.

51 С ъщо и Самария не е извършила нито половината от твоите грехове; Но ти си извършила много повече мерзости от тях, И оправда сестрите си с всичките мерзости, които си извършила.

Neither has Samaria committed half of your sins, but you have multiplied your abominations more than they and have seemed to justify your sisters in all their wickedness by all the abominable things which you have done—you even make them appear righteous in comparison with you.

52 Т и, която съдеше сестрите си, понеси сега срама си: Поради съгрешенията, които си извършила, по-гнусни от техните, Те са по-праведни от тебе; Затова засрами се и ти, и понеси срама си, Понеже си оправдала сестрите си.

Take upon you and bear your own shame and disgrace, you also who called in question and judged your sisters, for you have virtually absolved them by your sins in which you behaved more abominably than they; they are more right than you. Yes, be ashamed and confounded and bear your shame and disgrace, you also, for you have seemed to justify your sisters and make them appear righteous.

53 И Аз като възвърна техните пленници, Пленниците на Содом и на дъщерите й, И пленниците на Самария и на дъщерите й, <Ще възвърна> тогава и твоите пленници заедно с тях,

I will restore them again from their captivity, restore the fortunes of Sodom and her daughters and the fortunes of Samaria and her daughters, and I will restore your own fortunes in the midst of them,

54 З а да понасяш безчестието си, И да се срамуваш за всичко що си извършила, Като си станала утеха за тях.

That you, amid your shame and disgrace, may be compelled to recognize your wickedness and be thoroughly ashamed and confounded at all you have done, becoming consolation and comfort to

55 К огато сестрите ти Содом и дъщерите й се върнат в предишното си състояние, И Самария и дъщерите й се върнат в предишното си състояние, Тогава ще се върнеш и ти и дъщерите ти в предишното си състояние.

And your sisters, Sodom and her daughters shall return to their former estate, and Samaria and her daughters shall return to their former estate; then you and your daughters shall return to your former estate.

56 З ащото в дните на гордостта ти <Името на> сестра ти Содом не се чуваше от устата ти,

For was your sister Sodom not mentioned by you as a byword in the day of your pride,

57 П реди да се открие твоето нечестие, Както <се откри> във времето, когато те укоряваха сирийските дъщери, И всички наоколо тях, <и> филистимските дъщери, Които те презираха отвред.

Before your own wickedness was uncovered? Now you have become like her, an object of reproach and a byword for the daughters of Syria and of Edom and for all who are round about them and for the daughters of the Philistines—those round about who despise you.

58 Т и трябва да понесеш <наказанието за> разврата си И мерзостите си, казва Господ.

You bear the penalty of your lewdness and your abominations, says the Lord.

59 З ащото така казва Господ Иеова: Аз ще постъпя с тебе, както постъпи ти, Която си презряла клетвата и нарушила завета.

Yes, thus says the Lord God: I will even deal with you as you have done, who have despised the oath in breaking the covenant;

60 О баче, ще помня завета Си <Сключен> с тебе в дните на младостта ти, И ще ти утвърдя вечен завет.

Nevertheless, I will remember My covenant with you in the days of your youth and I will establish with you an everlasting covenant.

61 Т огава ще си спомниш за пътищата си и ще се засрамиш, Когато приемеш сестрите си, по-големите си и по-малките си; И ще ти ги дам за дъщери, Но не по завета <Ми с> тебе.

Then you will remember your ways and be ashamed and confounded when you shall receive your sisters, both your elder and your younger; I will give them to you as daughters, but not on account of your covenant.

62 А Моя завет с тебе ще утвърдя; И ще познаеш, че Аз съм Господ,

And I will establish My covenant with you, and you shall know (understand and realize) that I am the Lord,

63 З а да си спомниш, и да се засрамиш, И да не отвориш вече устата си от срам, Когато ти простя за всичко що си сторила, Казва Господ Иеова.

That you may remember and be ashamed and confounded and never open your mouth again because of your shame, when I have forgiven you all that you have done, says the Lord God.
