1 И като свика дванадесетте, даде им сила и власт над всички бесове, и да изцеляват болести.

Then Jesus called together the Twelve and gave them power and authority over all demons, and to cure diseases,

2 И изпрати ги да проповядват Божието царство и да изцеляват болните.

And He sent them out to announce and preach the kingdom of God and to bring healing.

3 И каза им: Не вземайте нищо за път, ни тояга, ни торба ни хляб, ни пари, нито да имате по две ризи.

And He said to them, Do not take anything for your journey—neither walking stick, nor wallet, nor food of any kind, nor money, and do not have two undergarments (tunics).

4 И в която къща влезете там седете, и от там тръгвайте <на път>.

And whatever house you enter, stay there until you go away.

5 И ако някои не ви приемат, когато излизате от оня град отърсете и праха от нозете си за свидетелство против тях.

And wherever they do not receive and accept and welcome you, when you leave that town shake off the dust from your feet, as a testimony against them.

6 И те тръгнаха и отиваха по селата и проповядваха благовестието и изцеляваха на всякъде.

And departing, they went about from village to village, preaching the Gospel and restoring the afflicted to health everywhere.

7 А четверовластникът Ирод чу за всичко що ставало и беше в недоумение; защото някои казваха, че Иоан е възкръснал от мъртвите;

Now Herod the tetrarch heard of all that was being done by, and he was perplexed and troubled, because it was said by some that John had been raised from the dead,

8 д руги пък, че Илия се е явил; а други, че един от старовременните пророци е възкръснал.

And by others that Elijah had appeared, and by others that one of the prophets of old had come back to life.

9 И рече Ирод: Иоана аз обезглавих; но Кой е Тоя, за Когото слушам такива неща? И желаеше да Го види.

But Herod said, John I beheaded; but Who is this about Whom I such things by hearsay? And he sought to see Him.

10 И като се върнаха апостолите, разказаха на <Исуса> все що бяха извършили; и Той ги взе и се оттегли на саме до един град наречен Витсаида.

Upon their return, the apostles reported to Jesus all that they had done. And He took them and withdrew into privacy near a town called Bethsaida.

11 А множествата като разбраха това, отидоха подире Му; и Той ги посрещна с готовност, и им говореше за Божието царство, и изцеляваше ония, които имаха нужда от изцеление.

But when the crowds learned of it, followed Him; and He welcomed them and talked to them about the kingdom of God, and healed those who needed restoration to health.

12 И като почна денят да преваля, дванадесетте се приближиха и Му рекоха: Разпусни народа за да отидат в околните села и колиби да нощуват и да си намерят храна, защото тука сме в уединено място.

Now the day began to decline, and the Twelve came and said to Him, Dismiss the crowds and send them away, so that they may go to the neighboring hamlets and villages and the surrounding country and find lodging and get a supply of provisions, for we are here in an uninhabited (barren, solitary) place.

13 Н о Той им каза: Дайте им вие да ядат. А те рекоха: Нямаме повече от пет хляба и две риби, освен, - да отидем ли и да купим храна за всички тия люде?

But He said to them, You give them to eat. They said, We have no more than five loaves and two fish—unless we are to go and buy food for all this crowd,

14 ( Защото имаше около пет хиляди мъже). И каза на учениците Си: Накарайте ги да насядат на групи по петдесет души.

For there were about 5, 000 men. And said to His disciples, Have them reclining in table groups (companies) of about fifty each.

15 Т е сториха така и накараха всички да насядат.

And they did so, and made them all recline.

16 А той взе петте хляба и двете риби, и погледна към небето и ги благослови; и като ги разчупи, даваше на учениците да сложат пред народа.

And taking the five loaves and the two fish, He looked up to heaven and gave thanks and asked Him to bless them. Then He broke them and gave them to the disciples to place before the multitude.

17 И ядоха и всички се наситиха; и дигнаха къшеите, които им останаха, дванадесет коша.

And all the people ate and were satisfied. And they gathered up what remained over—twelve '> small hand] baskets of broken pieces.

18 И когато Той се молеше насаме, и учениците бяха с Него, попита ги, казвайки: Според както казва народът, Кой съм Аз?

Now it occurred that as Jesus was praying privately, the disciples were with Him, and He asked them, Who do men say that I am?

19 А в отговор те рекоха: <Едни казват, че си> Иоан Кръстител; а други - Илия; трети пък, - че един от старовременните пророци е възкръснал.

And they answered, John the Baptist; but some say, Elijah; and others, that one of the ancient prophets has come back to life.

20 Т огава им каза: А според, както вие мислите, Кой съм Аз? Петър в отговор рече: Божият Христос.

And He said to them, But who do you say that I am? And Peter replied, The Christ of God!

21 А Той им заръча, и заповяда да не казват никому, като рече:

But He strictly charged and sharply commanded them '> under penalty] to tell this to no one '> whoever he might be],

22 Ч овешкият Син трябва много да пострада, и да бъде отхвърлен от старейшините, главните свещеници и книжниците, да бъде убит, и на третия ден да бъде възкресен.

Saying, The Son of Man must suffer many things and be '> deliberately] disapproved and repudiated and rejected on the part of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be put to death and on the third day be raised.

23 К аза още и на всички: Ако иска някой да дойде след Мене, нека се отрече от себе си, нека носи кръста си всеки ден и нека Ме следва.

And He said to all, If any person wills to come after Me, let him deny himself '> disown himself, forget, lose sight of himself and his own interests, refuse and give up himself] and take up his cross daily and follow Me '> cleave steadfastly to Me, conform wholly to My example in living and, if need be, in dying also].

24 З ащото който иска да спаси живота си, ще го изгуби; а който изгуби живота си заради Мене, той ще го спаси.

For whoever would preserve his life and save it will lose and destroy it, but whoever loses his life for My sake, he will preserve and save it '> from the penalty of eternal death].

25 П онеже какво се ползва човек, ако спечели целия свят, а изгуби или ощети себе си?

For what does it profit a man, if he gains the whole world and ruins or forfeits (loses) himself?

26 З ащото, ако се срамува някой от Мене и от думите Ми, то и Човешкият Син ще се срамува от него, когато дойде в Своята слава, и <в славата> на Отца и на Своите ангели.

Because whoever is ashamed of Me and of My teachings, of him will the Son of Man be ashamed when He comes in the '> threefold] glory (the splendor and majesty) of Himself and of the Father and of the holy angels.

27 А казвам ви наистина, има някои от тук стоящите, които никак няма да вкусят смърт докле не видят Божието царство.

However I tell you truly, there are some of those standing here who will not taste death before they see the kingdom of God.

28 И около осем дни след като каза това, Той взе със себе си Петра, Иоана и Якова, и се качи на планината да се моли.

Now about eight days after these teachings, Jesus took with Him Peter and John and James and went up on the mountain to pray.

29 И като се молеше, видът на лицето Му се измени и облеклото Му <стана> бяло <и> бляскаво.

And as He was praying, the appearance of His countenance became altered (different), and His raiment became dazzling white '> flashing with the brilliance of lightning].

30 И , ето двама мъже се разговаряха с Него; те бяха Моисей и Илия,

And behold, two men were conversing with Him—Moses and Elijah,

31 к оито се явиха в слава и говореха за смъртта {Гръцки: - Изхода} Му, която Му предстоеше да изпълни в Ерусалим.

Who appeared in splendor and majesty and brightness and were speaking of His exit, which He was about to bring to realization at Jerusalem.

32 А Петър и ония, които бяха с него, ги беше налегнал сън; но когато се разбудиха, видяха славата Му и двамата мъже, които стояха с Него.

Now Peter and those with him were weighed down with sleep, but when they fully awoke, they saw His glory (splendor and majesty and brightness) and the two men who stood with Him.

33 И когато те се разделиха с Него, Петър рече на Исуса: Наставниче, добре е да сме тука: и нека направим три шатри, за Тебе една за Моисея една, и една за Илия без да знае какво дума.

And it occurred as the men were parting from Him that Peter said to Jesus, Master, it is delightful and good that we are here; and let us construct three booths or huts—one for You and one for Moses and one for Elijah! not noticing or knowing what he was saying.

34 И докато казваше това, дойде облак та ги засени; и учениците се уплашиха като влязоха в облака.

But even as he was saying this, a cloud came and began to overshadow them, and they were seized with alarm and struck with fear as they entered into the cloud.

35 И дойде из облака глас който каза: Този е Моят Син, Избраник Мой; Него слушайте.

Then there came a voice out of the cloud, saying, This is My Son, My Chosen One or My Beloved; listen to and yield to and obey Him!

36 И когато престана гласът, Исус се намери сам. И те замълчаха, и през ония дни не казваха никому нищо от това, що бяха видели.

And when the voice had died away, Jesus was found there alone. And they kept still, and told no one at that time any of these things that they had seen.

37 И на следния ден, когато слязоха от планината, срещна Го голямо множество.

Now it occurred the next day, when they had come down from the mountain, that a great multitude met Him.

38 И , ето, един човек от народа извика, казвайки: Учителю, моля Ти се да погледнеш на сина ми, защото ми е единствено чадо.

And behold, a man from the crowd shouted out, Master, I implore You to look at my son, for he is my only child;

39 И , ето, дух го прехваща и той изведнъж закрещява и духът го сгърчва така, че той се запеня, и като го смазва, едвам го напуща.

And behold, a spirit seizes him and suddenly he cries out; it convulses him so that he foams at the mouth; and he is sorely shattered, and it will scarcely leave him.

40 И помолих Твоите ученици да го изгонят, но не можаха.

And I implored Your disciples to drive it out, but they could not.

41 И сус в отговор рече: О роде неверен и извратен! до кога ще бъда с вас и ще ви търпя? Доведи сина си тука.

Jesus answered, O unbelieving and without trust in God, a perverse ( wayward, crooked and warped) generation! Until when and how long am I to be with you and bear with you? Bring your son here.

42 И когато още идваше, бесът го тръшна и сгърчи силно; а Исус смъмра нечистия дух, изцели момчето, и върна го на баща му.

And even while he was coming, the demon threw him down and convulsed him. But Jesus censured and severely rebuked the unclean spirit and healed the child and restored him to his father.

43 И всички се учудваха на Божието величие. А докато всички се чудеха на всичко което правеше, Той рече на учениците Си:

And all were astounded at the evidence of God’s mighty power and His majesty and magnificence. But they were all marveling at everything Jesus was doing, He said to His disciples,

44 В ложете в ушите си тия думи, защото Човешкият Син ще бъде предаден в човешки ръце.

Let these words sink into your ears: the Son of Man is about to be delivered into the hands of men '> whose conduct is opposed to God].

45 Н о те не разбраха тая дума; тя бе скрита от тях за да не я разберат; а бояха се да Го попитат за тая дума.

However, they did not comprehend this saying; and it was kept hidden from them, so that they should not grasp it and understand, and they were afraid to ask Him about the statement.

46 И повдигна се между тях разискване, кой от тях ще бъде по-голям.

But a controversy arose among them as to which of them might be the greatest.

47 А Исус, като видя мисълта на сърцето им, взе едно детенце, постави го при Себе Си, и рече им:

But Jesus, as He perceived the thoughts of their hearts, took a little child and put him at His side

48 К ойто приеме това детенце в Мое име, Мене приема; и който приеме Мене, приема Този който Ме е изпратил; защото който е най-малък между всички вас, той е голям.

And told them, Whoever receives and accepts and welcomes this child in My name and for My sake receives and accepts and welcomes Me; and whoever so receives Me so also receives Him Who sent Me. For he who is least and lowliest among you all—he is great.

49 А Иоан продума и рече: Наставниче, видяхме един човек да изгонва бесове в Твое име; и му запретихме, защото не следва с нас.

John said, Master, we saw a man driving out demons in Your name and we commanded him to stop it, for he does not follow along with us.

50 А Исус му рече: Недейте му запрещава; защото, който не е против вас откъм вас е.

But Jesus told him, Do not forbid; for whoever is not against you is for you.

51 И когато се навършваха дните да се възнесе, Той насочи лицето Си да пътува към Ерусалим.

Now when the time was almost come for Jesus to be received up, He steadfastly and determinedly set His face to go to Jerusalem.

52 И проводи пред Себе Си пратеници, които отидоха и влязоха в едно самарянско село да приготвят за Него.

And He sent messengers before Him; and they reached and entered a Samaritan village to make ready for Him;

53 Н о не Го приеха, защото лицето Му беше <обърнато> към Ерусалим.

But would not welcome or receive or accept Him, because His face was going to Jerusalem.

54 К ато видяха <това> учениците Му Яков и Иоан, рекоха: Господи, искаш ли да заповядаме да падне огън от небето и да ги изтреби ?

And when His disciples James and John observed this, they said, Lord, do You wish us to command fire to come down from heaven and consume them, even as Elijah did ?

55 А Той се обърна и ги смъмра;.

But He turned and rebuked and severely censured them. He said, You do not know of what sort of spirit you are,

56 И отидоха в друго село.

For the Son of Man did not come to destroy men’s lives, but to save them. And they journeyed on to another village.

57 А като вървяха в пътя, един човек Му рече: Ще те следвам дето и да идеш.

And it occurred that as they were going along the road, a man said to Him, Lord, I will follow You wherever You go.

58 И сус му каза: Лисиците си имат леговища, и небесните птици гнезда; а Човешкият Син няма где глава да подслони.

And Jesus told him, Foxes have lurking holes and the birds of the air have roosts and nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay His head.

59 А на друг каза: Върви след Мене. А той рече: Господи, позволи ми първо да отида и да погреба баща си.

And He said to another, Become My disciple, side with My party, and accompany Me! But he replied, Lord, permit me first to go and bury ( await the death of) my father.

60 Н о Той му каза: Остави мъртвите да погребат своите мъртви; а ти иди и разгласявай Божието царство.

But Jesus said to him, Allow the dead to bury their own dead; but as for you, go and publish abroad throughout all regions the kingdom of God.

61 Р ече и друг: Ще дойда след Тебе, Господи; но първо ми позволи да се сбогувам с домашните си.

Another also said, I will follow You, Lord, and become Your disciple and side with Your party; but let me first say good-bye to those at my home.

62 А Исус му каза: Никой, който е турил ръката си на ралото и гледа назад, не е годен за Божието царство.

Jesus said to him, No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is fit for the kingdom of God.
