1 И чух из храма силен глас, който казваше на седемте ангела: Идете та излейте на земята седемте чаши на Божия гняв.

Then I heard a mighty voice from the temple sanctuary saying to the seven angels, Go and empty out on the earth the seven bowls of God’s wrath and indignation.

2 И първият отиде та изля чашата си на земята; и появи се лоша и люта рана на ония човеци, които носеха белега на звяра и които се покланяха на неговия образ.

So the first went and emptied his bowl on the earth, and foul and painful ulcers (sores) came on the people who were marked with the stamp of the beast and who did homage to his image.

3 В торият <ангел> изля чашата си в морето; и то стана кръв като на мъртвец, и всяка жива твар в морето умря.

The second emptied his bowl into the sea, and it turned into blood like that of a corpse, and every living thing that was in the sea perished.

4 Т ретият <ангел> изля чашата си в реките и във водните извори; и <водата им> стана кръв.

Then the third emptied out his bowl into the rivers and the springs of water, and they turned into (became) blood.

5 И чух ангела на водите да казва: Праведен си Ти, Пресвети, Който си, и Който си бил, загдето си отсъдил така;

And I also heard the angel of the waters say, Righteous (just) are You in these Your decisions and judgments, You Who are and were, O Holy One!

6 п онеже те проляха кръв на светии и на пророци, то и Ти си им дал да пият кръв. Те заслужават <това>.

Because they have poured out the blood of Your people (the saints) and the prophets, and You have given them blood to drink. Such is their due!

7 И чух олтара да казва: Така, Господи Боже Всемогъщи, истинни и праведни са Твоите съдби.

And the altar I heard cry, Yes, Lord God the Omnipotent, Your judgments (sentences, decisions) are true and just and righteous!

8 Ч етвъртият <ангел> изля чашата си върху слънцето, на което се позволи да гори човеците с огън.

Then the fourth emptied out his bowl upon the sun, and it was permitted to burn (scorch) humanity with heat (fire).

9 А като се опекоха човеците от голяма жега, похулиха името на Бога, Който има власт над тия язви, и не се покаяха да Му отдадат слава.

People were severely burned (scorched) by the fiery heat, and they reviled and blasphemed the name of God, Who has control of these plagues, and they did not repent of their sins to give Him glory.

10 П етият <ангел> изля чашата си върху престола на звяра; и царството му потъмня, и <човеците> хапеха езиците си от болки,

Then the fifth emptied his bowl on the throne of the beast, and his kingdom was in darkness; and people gnawed their tongues for the torment

11 и похулиха небесния Бог поради болките си и раните си, и не се покаяха за делата си.

And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their anguish and their ulcers (sores), and they did not deplore their wicked deeds or repent.

12 Ш естият <ангел> изля чашата си върху голямата река Ефрат; и пресъхна водата й, за да се приготви пътя на царете, които <идат> от изток.

Then the sixth emptied his bowl on the mighty river Euphrates, and its water was dried up to make ready a road for the kings of the east (from the rising sun).

13 И видях <да излизат> от устата на змея и от устата на звяра и от устата на лъжепророка три нечисти духове, прилични на жаби;

And I saw three loathsome spirits like frogs, from the mouth of the dragon and from the mouth of the beast and from the mouth of the false prophet.

14 з ащото те са бесовски духове, които, като вършат знамения, отиват при царете на цялата вселена, да ги събират за войната във великия ден на всемогъщия Бог.

For really they are the spirits of demons that perform signs (wonders, miracles). And they go forth to the rulers and leaders all over the world, to gather them together for war on the great day of God the Almighty.

15 ( Ето, ида като крадец. Блажен оня, който бди и пази дрехите си, за да не ходи гол, та да не гледат срамотата му).

Behold, I am going to come like a thief! Blessed (happy, to be envied) is he who stays awake (alert) and who guards his clothes, so that he may not be naked and seen exposed!

16 И събраха ги на мястото, което по еврейски се нарича Армагедон {Т.е. Хълмът на Магедон или )?) на поражението.}.

And they gathered them together at the place which in Hebrew is called Armageddon.

17 И седмият <ангел> изля чашата си върху въздуха; и из храма излезе силен глас от престола и каза: Сбъдна се.

Then the seventh emptied out his bowl into the air, and a mighty voice came out of the sanctuary of heaven from the throne, saying, It is done!

18 И произлязоха светкавици и гласове и гръмове, и стана силен трус, небивал откак съществуват човеци на земята, такъв трус, толкоз силен.

And there followed lightning flashes, loud rumblings, peals of thunder, and a tremendous earthquake; nothing like it has ever occurred since men dwelt on the earth, so severe and far-reaching was that earthquake.

19 И великият град се раздели на три части, и градовете на народите паднаха; и Бог си спомни за великия Вавилон, да му даде чашата с виното от яростния Си гняв.

The mighty city was broken into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. And God kept in mind mighty Babylon, to make her drain the cup of His furious wrath and indignation.

20 И всеки остров побягна и планините не се намериха.

And every island fled and no mountains could be found.

21 И едър град, <тежък> около един талант, падаше от небето върху човеците; и човеците похулиха Бога поради язвата от града, защото язвата от него беше твърде голяма.

And great (excessively oppressive) hailstones, as heavy as a talent, of immense size, fell from the sky on the people; and men blasphemed God for the plague of the hail, so very great was of that plague.
