1 З ащото небесното царство прилича на стопанин, който излезе при зазоряване да наеме работници за лозето си.

For the kingdom of heaven is like the owner of an estate who went out in the morning along with the dawn to hire workmen for his vineyard.

2 И като се погоди с работниците по един пеняз на ден, прати ги на лозето си.

After agreeing with the laborers for a denarius a day, he sent them into his vineyard.

3 И като излезе около третия час, видя други, че стояха на пазара празни;

And going out about the third hour (nine o’clock), he saw others standing idle in the marketplace;

4 и на тях рече: Идете и вие на лозето; и каквото е право ще ви дам. И те отидоха.

And he said to them, You go also into the vineyard, and whatever is right I will pay you. And they went.

5 П ак, като излезе около шестия и около деветия час направи същото.

He went out again about the sixth hour (noon), and the ninth hour (three o’clock) he did the same.

6 А , като излезе около единадесетия <час>, намери други че стоят, и каза им: Защо стоите тук цял ден празни?

And about the eleventh hour (five o’clock) he went out and found still others standing around, and said to them, Why do you stand here idle all day?

7 Т е му казаха: Защото никой не ни е условил. Каза им: Идете и вие на лозето,.

They answered him, Because nobody has hired us. He told them, You go out into the vineyard also and you will get whatever is just and fair.

8 К ато се свечери, стопанинът на лозето каза на настойника си: Повикай работниците и плати им надницата, като почнеш от последните и <следваш> до първите.

When evening came, the owner of the vineyard said to his manager, Call the workmen and pay them their wages, beginning with the last and ending with the first.

9 И тъй, дойдоха <условените> около единадесетия час, и получиха по един пеняз.

And those who had been hired at the eleventh hour (five o’clock) came and received a denarius each.

10 А като дойдоха първите, мислеха си, че ще получат повече от един пеняз но и те получиха по един пеняз.

Now when the first came, they supposed they would get more, but each of them also received a denarius.

11 И като го получиха, зароптаха против стопанина, като казаха:

And when they received it, they grumbled at the owner of the estate,

12 Т ия последните иждивиха само един час; и пак си ги приравнил с нас, които понесохме теготата на деня и жегата.

Saying, These who came last worked no more than an hour, and yet you have made them rank with us who have borne the burden and the scorching heat of the day.

13 А той в отговор рече на един от тях: Приятелю, не те онеправдавам. Не се ли погоди с мене за един пеняз?

But he answered one of them, Friend, I am doing you no injustice. Did you not agree with me for a denarius?

14 В земи си своето и иди си; моята воля е да дам на тоя последния както и на тебе.

Take what belongs to you and go. I choose to give to this man hired last the same as I give to you.

15 Н е ми ли е позволено да сторя със своето каквото искам? Или твоето око е завистливо {Гръцки: Лошо.}, защото аз съм добър?

Am I not permitted to do what I choose with what is mine? Is your eye evil because I am good?

16 Т ака последните ще бъдат първи, а първите последни.

So those who are last will be first, and those who are first will be last. For many are called, but few chosen.

17 И , когато възлизаше Исус за Ерусалим, взе дванадесетте ученици на саме, и по пътя им рече:

And as Jesus was going up to Jerusalem, He took the twelve disciples aside along the way and said to them,

18 Е то, възлизаме за Ерусалим, и Човешкият Син ще бъде предаден на главните свещеници и книжници; и те ще Го осъдят на смърт,

Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be handed over to the chief priests and scribes; and they will sentence Him to death

19 и ще го предадат на езичниците, за да Му се поругаят, да Го бият и Го разпнат; и на третия ден ще бъде възкресен.

And deliver Him over to the Gentiles to be mocked and whipped and crucified, and He will be raised on the third day.

20 Т огава майката на Заведеевите синове се приближи при Него заедно със синовете си, кланяше Му се и искаше нещо от Него.

Then the mother of Zebedee’s children came up to Him with her sons and, kneeling, worshiped Him and asked a favor of Him.

21 А Той й рече: Какво искаш? Каза Му: Заповядай тия мои два сина да седнат, един отдясно Ти, а един отляво Ти в Твоето царство.

And He asked her, What do you wish? She answered Him, Give orders that these two sons of mine may sit, one at Your right hand and one at Your left in Your kingdom.

22 А Исус в отговор рече: Не знаете какво искате. Можете ли да пиете чашата, която Аз имам да пия? Казват Му: Можем.

But Jesus replied, You do not realize what you are asking. Are you able to drink the cup that I am about to drink and to be baptized with the baptism with which I am baptized ? They answered, We are able.

23 Т ой им рече: Моята чаша наистина ще пиете,; но да седнете отдясно Ми и отляво Ми не е Мое да дам<, а ще се даде на ония>, за които е било приготвено от Отца Ми.

He said to them, You will drink My cup, but seats at My right hand and at My left are not Mine to give, but they are for those for whom they have been ordained and prepared by My Father.

24 И десетимата като чуха това, възнегодуваха против двамата братя.

But when the ten heard this, they were indignant at the two brothers.

25 Н о Исус ги повика и рече: Вие знаете, че управителите на народите господаруват над тях, и големците им властвуват над тях.

And Jesus called them to Him and said, You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their great men hold them in subjection.

26 Н о между вас не ще бъде така; но който иска да стане големец между вас, ще ви бъде служител;

Not so shall it be among you; but whoever wishes to be great among you must be your servant,

27 и който иска да бъде пръв между вас, ще ви бъде слуга;

And whoever desires to be first among you must be your slave—

28 с ъщо както и Човешкият Син не дойде да Му служат, но да служи, и да даде живота Си откуп за мнозина.

Just as the Son of Man came not to be waited on but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.

29 И като излизаха от Ерихон, голямо множество отиваше подире Му.

And as they were going out of Jericho, a great throng accompanied Him.

30 И , ето, двама слепци, седящи край пътя, като чуха, че Исус минавал, извикаха казвайки: Смили се над нас, Господи Сине Давидов!

And behold, two blind men were sitting by the roadside, and when they heard that Jesus was passing by, they cried out, Lord, have pity and mercy on us, Son of David!

31 А народът ги смъмрюваше, за да млъкнат; но те още по-силно викаха, казвайки: Смили се за нас, Господи сине Давидов!

The crowds reproved them and told them to keep still; but they cried out all the more, Lord, have pity and mercy on us, Son of David!

32 И тъй, Исус се спря, повика ги и каза: Какво искате да ви сторя!

And Jesus stopped and called them, and asked, What do you want Me to do for you?

33 К азват Му: Господи, да се отворят очите ни.

They answered Him, Lord, we want our eyes to be opened!

34 А Исус се смили и се допря до очите им; и веднага прогледаха и тръгнаха подире Му.

And Jesus, in pity, touched their eyes; and instantly they received their sight and followed Him.
