1 I n that day there shall be a fountain opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem for sin and for uncleanness.

Aquel día habrá una fuente abierta para la casa de David y para los habitantes de Jerusalén, para lavar el pecado y la impureza.

2 A nd it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord of hosts, that I will cut off the names of the idols out of the land, and they shall no more be remembered: and also I will cause the prophets and the unclean spirit to pass out of the land.

Y sucederá aquel día —declara el Señor de los ejércitos— que eliminaré de la tierra los nombres de los ídolos, y nunca más serán recordados; también yo quitaré de la tierra a los profetas y al espíritu inmundo.

3 A nd it shall come to pass, that when any shall yet prophesy, then his father and his mother that begat him shall say unto him, Thou shalt not live; for thou speakest lies in the name of the Lord: and his father and his mother that begat him shall thrust him through when he prophesieth.

Y sucederá que si alguno profetiza todavía, su padre y su madre que lo engendraron le dirán: “No vivirás porque has hablado falsamente en el nombre del Señor ”; y su padre y su madre que lo engendraron lo traspasarán mientras profetiza.

4 A nd it shall come to pass in that day, that the prophets shall be ashamed every one of his vision, when he hath prophesied; neither shall they wear a rough garment to deceive:

También sucederá aquel día que los profetas se avergonzarán cada uno de su visión cuando profetice, y no se vestirán el manto de pelo para engañar,

5 B ut he shall say, I am no prophet, I am an husbandman; for man taught me to keep cattle from my youth.

sino que cada uno dirá: “No soy profeta, soy labrador de la tierra, porque un hombre me vendió como esclavo en mi juventud.”

6 A nd one shall say unto him, What are these wounds in thine hands? Then he shall answer, Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends.

Y alguien le dirá: “¿Qué son esas heridas en tu cuerpo ?” Y él responderá: “ Son aquéllas con que fui herido en casa de mis amigos.”

7 A wake, O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man that is my fellow, saith the Lord of hosts: smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered: and I will turn mine hand upon the little ones.

Despierta, espada, contra mi pastor, y contra el hombre compañero mío —declara el Señor de los ejércitos. Hiere al pastor y se dispersarán las ovejas, y volveré mi mano contra los pequeños.

8 A nd it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the Lord, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein.

Y sucederá en toda la tierra —declara el Señor — que dos partes serán cortadas en ella, y perecerán; pero la tercera quedará en ella.

9 A nd I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The Lord is my God.

Y meteré la tercera parte en el fuego, los refinaré como se refina la plata, y los probaré como se prueba el oro. Invocará él mi nombre, y yo le responderé; diré: “El es mi pueblo ”, y él dirá: “El Señor es mi Dios.”
