Per il lato d’oriente la sorte designò Selemia. Si tirò poi a sorte per Zaccaria, suo figlio, che era un consigliere intelligente; e la sorte designò lui per il lato di settentrione.

15 T o Obededom southward; and to his sons the house of Asuppim.

Per il lato di mezzogiorno la sorte designò Obed-Edom, e per i magazzini designò i suoi figli.

16 T o Shuppim and Hosah the lot came forth westward, with the gate Shallecheth, by the causeway of the going up, ward against ward.

Per il lato d’occidente, con la porta Sallechet, sulla via che sale, la sorte designò Suppim e Cosa, in due posti di guardia, uno di fronte all’altro.

17 E astward were six Levites, northward four a day, southward four a day, and toward Asuppim two and two.
