1 C oncerning the divisions of the porters: Of the Korhites was Meshelemiah the son of Kore, of the sons of Asaph.

فِرَقُ البَوّابِينَ مِنْ أبْناءِ قُورَحَ: مَشلَمْيا بْنُ قُورِي، وَهُوَ أحَدُ أبْناءِ آسافَ.

2 A nd the sons of Meshelemiah were, Zechariah the firstborn, Jediael the second, Zebadiah the third, Jathniel the fourth,

وَكانَ لِمَشلَمْيا أبْناءٌ: البِكرُ زَكَرِيّا، وَالثّانِي يَدِيعِيئِيلُ، وَالثّالِثُ زَبَدْيا، وَالرّابِعُ يَثْنَئِيلُ،

3 E lam the fifth, Jehohanan the sixth, Elioenai the seventh.

وَالخامِسُ عِيلامُ، وَالسّادِسُ يَهُوحانانُ، وَالسّابِعُ ألِيهُو عِينايُ.

4 M oreover the sons of Obededom were, Shemaiah the firstborn, Jehozabad the second, Joah the third, and Sacar the fourth, and Nethaneel the fifth.

وَكانَ لِعُوبِيدَ أدُومَ أبْناءٌ هُمُ البِكْرُ شَمَعْيا، وَالثّانِي يَهُوزابادُ، وَالثّالِثُ يُوآخُ، وَالرّابِعُ ساكارُ، وَالخامِسُ نَثْنَئِيلُ،

5 A mmiel the sixth, Issachar the seventh, Peulthai the eighth: for God blessed him.

وَالسّادِسُ عَمِّيئِيلُ، وَالسّابِعُ يَسّاكَرُ، وَالثّامِنُ فَعَلْتايُ. فَقَدْ بارَكَهُ اللهُ فِعلاً.

6 A lso unto Shemaiah his son were sons born, that ruled throughout the house of their father: for they were mighty men of valour.

وَكانَ لابْنِهِ شَمْعِيا أبناءٌ أيضاً، رُؤَساءٌ لِعائِلاتِهِمْ، لِأنَّهُمْ كانُوا مِنْ طَبَقَةِ المُحارِبينَ النُّبَلاءِ.

7 T he sons of Shemaiah; Othni, and Rephael, and Obed, Elzabad, whose brethren were strong men, Elihu, and Semachiah.

أبناءُ شَمِعْيا هُمْ عَثْنِي وَرَفائِيلُ وَعُوبِيدُ وَألْزابادُ وَأخَواهُ ألِيهُو وَسَمَكْيا، وَهُما رَجُلانِ مُقْتَدِرانِ.

8 A ll these of the sons of Obededom: they and their sons and their brethren, able men for strength for the service, were threescore and two of Obededom.

كانَ هَؤُلاءِ كُلُّهُمْ أبْناءَ عُوبِيدَ آدُومَ، هُمْ وَأبناؤُهُمْ وَأقارِبُهُمْ، رِجالاً مُقْتَدِرِينَ يَتَمَتَّعُونَ بِقُوَّةٍ لِلقِيامِ بِوَظائِفِهِمْ، وَعَدَدُهُمُ اثْنانِ وَسِتُّونَ، وَهُمْ مِنْ نَسلٍ عُوبِيدَ أدُومَ.

9 A nd Meshelemiah had sons and brethren, strong men, eighteen.

وَكانَ لِمَشلَمْيا أبناءٌ وَأقارِبُ عَدَدُهُمْ ثَمانِيَةَ عَشَرَ رَجُلاً مُقتَدِراً.

10 A lso Hosah, of the children of Merari, had sons; Simri the chief, (for though he was not the firstborn, yet his father made him the chief;)

وَكانَ لِحُوسَةَ المِرارِيِّ أبْناءٌ: الرَّئِيسُ شِمْرِي. مَعَ أنَّهُ لَمْ يَكُنِ البِكْرَ، لَكِنَّ أباهُ جَعَلَهُ الرَّئِيسَ.

11 H ilkiah the second, Tebaliah the third, Zechariah the fourth: all the sons and brethren of Hosah were thirteen.

وَالثّانِي حِلْقِيّا، وَالثّالِثُ طَبَلْيا، وَالرّابِعُ زَكَرِيّا. فَكانَ عَدَدُ أبناءِ حُوسَةَ وَأقارِبِهِ ثَلاثَةَ عَشَرَ.

12 A mong these were the divisions of the porters, even among the chief men, having wards one against another, to minister in the house of the Lord.

كانَ لِفِرَقِ البَوّابِينَ هَذِهِ، وَهُمْ قادَةُ الرِّجالِ، وَاجِباتٌ كَأقارِبِهِمْ فِي خِدمَةِ بَيتِ اللهِ.

13 A nd they cast lots, as well the small as the great, according to the house of their fathers, for every gate.

وَألقَوْا قُرْعةً للْجَمِيعِ، للشَّبابِ وَالكِبارِ بحَسَبِ عائِلاتِهِمْ لِحِراسَةِ كُلِّ بوّابةٍ.

14 A nd the lot eastward fell to Shelemiah. Then for Zechariah his son, a wise counsellor, they cast lots; and his lot came out northward.

وَألقَوْا قُرْعَةً لِشَلَمْيا لِحِراسَةِ البَوّابَةِ الشَّرْقِيَّةِ. وَألقَوْا قُرْعَةً لِزَكَرِيّا بنِ شَلَمْيا، وَهُوَ مُسْتَشارٌ حَكِيمٌ، فَكانَ عَليهِ حِراسةُ البَوّابةِ الشَّماليَّةِ.

15 T o Obededom southward; and to his sons the house of Asuppim.

أمّا البَوّابَةُ الجَنُوبِيَّةُ فَكانَتْ مِنْ نَصِيبِ عُوبِيدَ أدُومَ. وَكُلِّفَ أبناؤُهُ بِحِراسَةِ المَخزَنِ.

16 T o Shuppim and Hosah the lot came forth westward, with the gate Shallecheth, by the causeway of the going up, ward against ward.

وَكانَتْ مِنْ نَصِيبِ شُفِّيمَ وَحُوساَ البَوّابَةُ الغَربِيَّةُ، مَعَ بَوّابَةِ شَلَّكَةَ عَلَى الطَّرِيقِ الصّاعِدِ. فَكانَ الحُرّاسٌ يَتَناوَبُونَ.

17 E astward were six Levites, northward four a day, southward four a day, and toward Asuppim two and two.

فَيَقِفُ عِندَ البَوّابَةِ الشَّرْقِيَّةِ سِتَّةُ لاوِيِّينَ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ، وَعِندَ البَوّابَةِ الشِّمالِيَّةِ أربَعَةٌ كُلَّ يَومٍ، وَعِندَ البوّابَةِ الجَنُوبِيَّةِ أربَعَةٌ كُلَّ يَومٍ. وَيَتَناوَبُونَ عَلَى حِراسَةِ المَخزَنِ اثْنَينِ اثْنَينِ.

18 A t Parbar westward, four at the causeway, and two at Parbar.

أمّا بِالنِّسْبَةِ لِلقاعَةِ الغَربِيَّةِ، فَكانَ هُناكَ أربَعَةُ حُرّاسٍ عِندَ الطَّرِيقِ، وَاثْنانِ عِنْدَ القاعَةِ.

19 T hese are the divisions of the porters among the sons of Kore, and among the sons of Merari.

هَذِهِ هِيَ فِرَقُ البَوّابِينَ مِنَ القُورَحِيِّينَ وَالمَرارِيِّينَ. أُمَناءُ المَخازن وَآخَرُون

20 A nd of the Levites, Ahijah was over the treasures of the house of God, and over the treasures of the dedicated things.

وَمِنَ اللاوِيِّينَ، كانَ أخِيّا مَسْؤُولاً عَنْ حِراسةِ مَخازِنِ بَيتِ اللهِ وَمَخازِنِ التَّقدِماتِ المَحْفُوظَةِ.

21 A s concerning the sons of Laadan; the sons of the Gershonite Laadan, chief fathers, even of Laadan the Gershonite, were Jehieli.

وَأمّا أبناءُ لَعْدانَ الَّذِينَ مِنْ عائِلَةِ جَرْشُونَ، رُؤَساءُ عائِلاتِ لَعْدانَ الجَرْشُونِيِّ فَكانَ الرَّئِيسُ هُوَ يَحِيئِيلِي.

22 T he sons of Jehieli; Zetham, and Joel his brother, which were over the treasures of the house of the Lord.

وَكانَ ابْنا يَحِيئِيلِي زِيثامُ وَيُوئِيلُ مَسْؤُولَيْنِ عَنْ مَخازِنِ بَيتِ اللهِ.

23 O f the Amramites, and the Izharites, the Hebronites, and the Uzzielites:

مِنْ أبناءِ عَمْرامَ، وَيَصْهارَ، وَحَبْرُونَ، وَعُزِّيئِيلَ،

24 A nd Shebuel the son of Gershom, the son of Moses, was ruler of the treasures.

كانَ شَبُوئِيلُ بْنُ جَرْشُومَ بْنِ مُوسَى المَسؤُولَ الآَوَّلَ عَنِ المَخازِنِ.

25 A nd his brethren by Eliezer; Rehabiah his son, and Jeshaiah his son, and Joram his son, and Zichri his son, and Shelomith his son.

وَإخْوَتُهُ مِنْ ألِيعَزَرَ هُمْ رَحَبْيا بْنُ ألِيعَزَرَ، وَيَشْعِيا بْنُ رَحَبْيا، وَيُورامُ بْنُ يَشْعِيا، وَزِكْرِي بْنُ يُورامَ، وَشَلُومِيثُ بْنُ زِكْرِي.

26 W hich Shelomith and his brethren were over all the treasures of the dedicated things, which David the king, and the chief fathers, the captains over thousands and hundreds, and the captains of the host, had dedicated.

كانَ شَلُومِيثُ وَأقرِباؤُهُ مَسؤُولِينَ عَنِ جَميعِ مَخازِنِ التَّقدِماتِ الَّتِي خَصَّصَها المَلِكُ داوُدُ لِخِدْمَةِ الهَيكَلِ، وَالَّتِي قَدَّمَها رُؤَساءُ العائِلاتِ وَقادَةُ الآلافِ وَالمِئاتِ، وَقادَةُ الجَيشِ.

27 O ut of the spoils won in battles did they dedicate to maintain the house of the Lord.

فَقَدْ خَصَّصُوا عَطايا مِنَ غَنائِمِ الحُرُوبِ مِنْ أجلِ صِيانَةِ بَيتِ اللهِ.

28 A nd all that Samuel the seer, and Saul the son of Kish, and Abner the son of Ner, and Joab the son of Zeruiah, had dedicated; and whosoever had dedicated any thing, it was under the hand of Shelomith, and of his brethren.

فَكُلُّ ما خَصَّصَهُ صَمُوئِيلُ الرّائِي وَشاوُلُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ وَأبْنِيرُ بْنُ نِيرٍ وَيُوآبُ بنُ صُرُوِيَّةَ، كانَ فِي عُهْدَةِ شَلُومِيثَ وَأقرِبائِهِ.

29 O f the Izharites, Chenaniah and his sons were for the outward business over Israel, for officers and judges.

وَمِنَ اليَصْهارِيِّينَ، تَعَيَّنَ كَنَنْيا وَأبناؤُهُ لِلعَمَلِ خارِجَ الهَيكَلِ كَمَسؤُولِينَ وَقُضاةً عَلَى إسْرائِيلَ.

30 A nd of the Hebronites, Hashabiah and his brethren, men of valour, a thousand and seven hundred, were officers among them of Israel on this side Jordan westward in all the business of the Lord, and in the service of the king.

مِنَ الحَبْرُونِيِّينَ حَشَبْيا وَأقرِباؤُهُ، ألفٌ وَسَبْعُ مِئَةِ رَجُلٍ مُقتَدِرٍ، مَسؤُولُونَ عَنْ جَميعِ شُؤونِ خِدمَةِ اللهِ وَخِدْمَةِ المَلِكِ فِي إسْرائِيلَ، إلَى الغَربِ مِنْ نَهْرِ الأُردُنِّ.

31 A mong the Hebronites was Jerijah the chief, even among the Hebronites, according to the generations of his fathers. In the fortieth year of the reign of David they were sought for, and there were found among them mighty men of valour at Jazer of Gilead.

أمّا بِالنِّسْبَةِ لِلحَبرُونِيِّينَ، فَكانَ يَرَيّا رَئِيسَ الحَبرُونِيِّنَ حَسَبَ سِجِلّاتِ أنسابِ عائِلاتِهِمْ. وَفِي السَّنَةِ الأربَعِينَ مِنْ حُكمِ داوُدَ، جَرَى فَحصٌ لِلسِّجِلّاتِ، فَوُجِدَ رِجالٌ مُقتَدِرِونَ بَينَهُمْ فِي يَعزِيرَ فِي جِلْعادَ.

32 A nd his brethren, men of valour, were two thousand and seven hundred chief fathers, whom king David made rulers over the Reubenites, the Gadites, and the half tribe of Manasseh, for every matter pertaining to God, and affairs of the king.

وَكانَ لَدَى يَرَيّا ألفانِ وَسَبْعُ مِئَةِ قَرِيبٍ، كانُوا رِجالاً مُقتَدِرِينَ وَرُؤَساءَ عائِلاتِهِمْ. فَعَيَّنَهُمْ داوُدُ مَسْؤُولِينَ عَنِ الرَأُوبَيْنِيِّينَ وَالجادِيِّينَ وَنِصْفِ قَبِيلَةِ مَنَسَّى فِي ما يَتَعَلَّقُ بِكُلِّ أُمُورِ اللهِ وَشُؤونِ المَلِكِ.
