1 A nd the feast of the unleavened food was coming nigh, that is called Passover,

О А Той им рече: Ето, като влезте в града, ще ви срещне човек, който носи стомна с вода; идете подир него в къщата, в която влезе,

2 a nd the chief priests and the scribes were seeking how they may take him up, for they were afraid of the people.

И главните свещеници и книжниците обмисляха как да Го умъртвят; защото се бояха от людете.

3 A nd the Adversary entered into Judas, who is surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve,

Тогава влезе Сатаната в Юда, наречен Искариот, който беше от числото на дванадесетте;

4 a nd he, having gone away, spake with the chief priests and the magistrates, how he might deliver him up to them,

и той отиде и се сговори с главните свещеници и началниците на стражата, как да им Го предаде.

5 a nd they rejoiced, and covenanted to give him money,

И те се зарадваха, и се обещаха да му дадат пари.

6 a nd he agreed, and was seeking a favourable season to deliver him up to them without tumult.

И той се съгласи, и търсеше сгоден случай да Го предаде, когато би отсъствувало множеството.

7 A nd the day of the unleavened food came, in which it was behoving the passover to be sacrificed,

И настана денят на безквасните хлябове, когато трябваше да жертвуват пасхата.

8 a nd he sent Peter and John, saying, `Having gone on, prepare to us the passover, that we may eat;'

И прати Исус Петра и Иоана, и рече: Идете и ни пригответе, за да ядем пасхата.

9 a nd they said to him, `Where wilt thou that we might prepare?'

А те Му казаха: Где искаш да приготвим?

10 A nd he said to them, `Lo, in your entering into the city, there shall meet you a man, bearing a pitcher of water, follow him to the house where he doth go in,

А той им рече: Ето, като влезете в града, ще ви срещне човек, който носи стомна с вода; идете подир него в къщата, в която влезе,

11 a nd ye shall say to the master of the house, The Teacher saith to thee, Where is the guest-chamber where the passover with my disciples I may eat?

и речете на стопанина на къщата: Учителят ти казва: Где е приемната стая, в която ще ям пасхата с учениците Си?

12 a nd he shall show you a large upper room furnished, there make ready;'

И той ще ви посочи голяма горна стая, постлана; там пригответе.

13 a nd they, having gone away, found as he hath said to them, and they made ready the passover.

И като отидоха, намериха както им беше казал; и приготвиха пасхата.

14 A nd when the hour come, he reclined (at meat), and the twelve apostles with him,

И като дойде часът, Той седна на трапезата, и апостолите с Него.

15 a nd he said unto them, `With desire I did desire to eat this passover with you before my suffering,

И рече им: Твърде много съм желал да ям тази пасха с вас преди да страдам;

16 f or I say to you, that no more may I eat of it till it may be fulfilled in the reign of God.'

защото ви казвам, че няма вече да я ям докле се не изпълни в Божието царство.

17 A nd having taken a cup, having given thanks, he said, `Take this and divide to yourselves,

И като прие чаша, благодари и рече: Вземете това и разделете го помежду си;

18 f or I say to you that I may not drink of the produce of the vine till the reign of God may come.'

защото ви казвам, че няма вече да пия от плода на лозата, докато не дойде Божието царство.

19 A nd having taken bread, having given thanks, he brake and gave to them, saying, `This is my body, that for you is being given, this do ye -- to remembrance of me.'

И взе хляб, и, като благодари, разчупи го, даде им, и рече: Това е Моето тяло, което за вас се дава; това правете за Мое възпоменание.

20 I n like manner, also, the cup after the supping, saying, `This cup the new covenant in my blood, that for you is being poured forth.

Така взе и чашата подир вечерята, и рече: Тази чаша е новият завет в Моята кръв, която за вас се пролива.

21 ` But, lo, the hand of him delivering me up with me on the table,

Но, ето, ръката на този, който Ме предава, е с Мене на трапезата.

22 a nd indeed the Son of Man doth go according to what hath been determined; but wo to that man through whom he is being delivered up.'

Защото Човешкият Син наистина отива, според както е било определено; но горко на този човек, чрез когото се предава!

23 A nd they began to reason among themselves, who then of them it may be, who is about to do this thing.

И те почнаха да се питат помежду си, кой ли от тях ще е този, който ще стори това.

24 A nd there happened also a strife among them -- who of them is accounted to be greater.

Стана още и препирня помежду им, кой от тях се счита за по-голям.

25 A nd he said to them, `The kings of the nations do exercise lordship over them, and those exercising authority upon them are called benefactors;

А Той им рече: Царете на народите господаруват над тях, и тия, които ги владеят се наричат благодетели.

26 b ut ye not so, but he who is greater among you -- let him be as the younger; and he who is leading, as he who is ministering;

Но вие недейте така; а по-големият между вас нека стане като по-младия, и който началствува_

27 f or who is greater? he who is reclining (at meat), or he who is ministering? is it not he who is reclining (at meat)? and I -- I am in your midst as he who is ministering.

Защото кой е по-голям, този, който седи на трапезата ли, или онзи, който слугува? Не е ли този, който седи на трапезата? Но Аз съм всред вас, като онзи, който слугува.

28 ` And ye -- ye are those who have remained with me in my temptations,

А вие сте ония, които устояхте с Мене в Моите изпитни.

29 a nd I appoint to you, as my Father did appoint to me, a kingdom,

Затова, както Моят Отец завещава царство на Мене, а Аз завещавам на вас,

30 t hat ye may eat and may drink at my table, in my kingdom, and may sit on thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.'

да ядете и да пиете на трапезата Ми в Моето царство; и ще седнете на престола да съдите дванадесетте Израилеви племена.

31 A nd the Lord said, `Simon, Simon, lo, the Adversary did ask you for himself to sift as the wheat,

Симоне, Симоне, ето, Сатана ви изиска всички, за да ви пресее като жито;

32 a nd I besought for thee, that thy faith may not fail; and thou, when thou didst turn, strengthen thy brethren.'

но Аз се молих за тебе, да не отслабне твоята вяра; и ти, когато се обърнеш, утвърди братята си.

33 A nd he said to him, `Sir, with thee I am ready both to prison and to death to go;'

Петър Му рече: Господи, готов съм да отида с Тебе и в тъмница и на смърт.

34 a nd he said, `I say to thee, Peter, a cock shall not crow to-day, before thrice thou mayest disown knowing me.'

А Той рече: Казвам ти, Петре, петелът няма да пее днес, докато не си се отрекъл три пъти, че Ме не познаваш.

35 A nd he said to them, `When I sent you without bag, and scrip, and sandals, did ye lack anything?' and they said, `Nothing.'

И рече им: Когато ви пратих без кесия, без торба и без обуща, останахте ли лишени от нещо? А те казаха: От нищо.

36 T hen said he to them, `But, now, he who is having a bag, let him take up, and in like manner also a scrip; and he who is not having, let him sell his garment, and buy a sword,

И рече им: Но сега, който има кесия, нека я вземе, така и торба; и който няма кесия нека продаде дрехата си и нека си купи нож;

37 f or I say to you, that yet this that hath been written it behoveth to be fulfilled in me: And with lawless ones he was reckoned, for also the things concerning me have an end.'

защото ви казвам, че трябва да се изпълни в Мене и това писание: "И към беззаконници биде причислен", защото писаното за Мене наближава към своето изпълнение.

38 A nd they said, `Sir, lo, here two swords;' and he said to them, `It is sufficient.'

И те рекоха: Господи, ето тук има два ножа. А Той им рече: Доволно е.

39 A nd having gone forth, he went on, according to custom, to the mount of the Olives, and his disciples also followed him,

И излезе да отиде по обичая Си на Елеонския хълм; подир Него отидоха и учениците.

40 a nd having come to the place, he said to them, `Pray ye not to enter into temptation.'

И като се намери на мястото, рече им: Молете се да не паднете в изкушение.

41 A nd he was withdrawn from them, as it were a stone's cast, and having fallen on the knees he was praying,

И Той се отдели от тях колкото един хвърлей камък, и като коленичи, молеше се, думайки:

42 s aying, `Father, if Thou be counselling to make this cup pass from me --; but, not my will, but Thine be done.' --

Отче, ако щеш, отмини Ме с тази чаша; обаче, не Моята воля, но Твоята да бъде.

43 A nd there appeared to him a messenger from heaven strengthening him;

И яви Му се ангел от небето и Го укрепяваше.

44 a nd having been in agony, he was more earnestly praying, and his sweat became, as it were, great drops of blood falling upon the ground.

И като беше на мъка, молеше се по-усърдно; и потта Му стана като големи капки кръв, които капеха на земята.

45 A nd having risen up from the prayer, having come unto the disciples, he found them sleeping from the sorrow,

И като стана от молитвата, дойде при учениците и ги намери заспали от скръб; и рече им:

46 a nd he said to them, `Why do ye sleep? having risen, pray that ye may not enter into temptation.'

Защо спите? Станете и молете се, за да не паднете в изкушение.

47 A nd while he is speaking, lo, a multitude, and he who is called Judas, one of the twelve, was coming before them, and he came nigh to Jesus to kiss him,

Докато още говореше, ето едно множество; и този, който се наричаше Юда, един от дванадесетте, вървеше пред тях; и приближи се до Исуса, за да Го целуне.

48 a nd Jesus said to him, `Judas, with a kiss the Son of Man dost thou deliver up?'

А Исус му рече: Юдо, с целувка ли предаваш Човешкия Син?

49 A nd those about him, having seen what was about to be, said to him, `Sir, shall we smite with a sword?'

И тия, които бяха около Исуса, като видяха какво щеше да стане, рекоха: Господи, да ударим ли с нож?

50 A nd a certain one of them smote the servant of the chief priest, and took off his right ear,

И един от тях удари слугата на първосвещеника и му отсече дясното ухо,

51 a nd Jesus answering said, `Suffer ye thus far,' and having touched his ear, he healed him.

а Исус проговори, казвайки: Оставете до тука; и допря се до ухото му и го изцели.

52 A nd Jesus said to those having come upon him -- chief priests, and magistrates of the temple, and elders -- `As upon a robber have ye come forth, with swords and sticks?

А на дошлите против Него главни свещеници, началници на храмовата стража и на старейшините Исус рече: Като срещу разбойник ли сте излезли с ножове и сопи?

53 w hile daily I was with you in the temple, ye did stretch forth no hands against me; but this is your hour and the power of the darkness.'

когато бях всеки ден с вас в храма, не простряхте ръце против Мене. Но сега е вашият час и на властта на тъмнината.

54 A nd having taken him, they led and brought him to the house of the chief priest. And Peter was following afar off,

И като Го хванаха, заведоха Го, и въведоха Го в къщата на първосвещеника. А Петър вървеше подире издалеч.

55 a nd they having kindled a fire in the midst of the court, and having sat down together, Peter was sitting in the midst of them,

И когато бяха наклали огън насред двора и бяха насядали около него, то и Петър седна между тях.

56 a nd a certain maid having seen him sitting at the light, and having earnestly looked at him, she said, `And this one was with him!'

И една слугиня, като го видя седнал до пламъка, вгледа се в него и рече: И тоя беше с Него.

57 a nd he disowned him, saying, `Woman, I have not known him.'

А той се отрече, казвайки: Жено, не Го познавам.

58 A nd after a little, another having seen him, said, `And thou art of them!' and Peter said, `Man, I am not.'

След малко друг го видя и рече: И ти си от тях. Но Петър рече: Човече, не съм.

59 A nd one hour, as it were, having intervened, a certain other was confidently affirming, saying, `Of a truth this one also was with him, for he is also a Galilean;'

И като се мина около един час, друг някой настоятелно казваше: Наистина и той беше с Него, защото е галилеянин.

60 a nd Peter said, `Man, I have not known what thou sayest;' and presently, while he is speaking, a cock crew.

А Петър рече: Човече, не зная що казваш. И начаса, докато още говореше, един петел изпя.

61 A nd the Lord having turned did look on Peter, and Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how he said to him -- `Before a cock shall crow, thou mayest disown me thrice;'

И Господ се обърна та погледна Петра. И Петър си спомни думата на Господа, как му беше казал: Преди да пропее петела днес, ти три пъти ще се отречеш от Мене.

62 a nd Peter having gone without, wept bitterly.

И излезе вън, та плака горко.

63 A nd the men who were holding Jesus were mocking him, beating;

И мъжете, които държаха Исуса, ругаеха Го и Го биеха,

64 a nd having blindfolded him, they were striking him on the face, and were questioning him, saying, `Prophesy who he is who smote thee?'

и като Го закриваха питаха Го, казвайки: Познай кой Те удари.

65 a nd many other things, speaking evilly, they spake in regard to him.

И много други хули изговориха против Него.

66 A nd when it became day there was gathered together the eldership of the people, chief priests also, and scribes, and they led him up to their own sanhedrim,

И като се разсъмна, събраха се народните старейшини, главни свещеници и книжници, и Го заведоха в синедриона си и Му рекоха:

67 s aying, `If thou be the Christ, tell us.' And he said to them, `If I may tell you, ye will not believe;

Ако си Ти Христос, кажи ни. А Той рече: Ако ви кажа, няма да повярвате;

68 a nd if I also question, ye will not answer me or send me away;

и ако ви задам въпрос, не ще отговорите.

69 h enceforth, there shall be the Son of Man sitting on the right hand of the power of God.'

Но отсега нататък Човешкият Син ще седи отдясно на Божията сила.

70 A nd they all said, `Thou, then, art the Son of God?' and he said unto them, `Ye say, because I am;'

И те всички казаха: Тогава Божият Син ли си Ти? А Той им рече: Вие право казвате, защото Съм.

71 a nd they said, `What need yet have we of testimony? for we ourselves did hear from his mouth.'

А те рекоха: Каква нужда имаме вече от свидетелство? Защото сами ние чухме от устата Му.
