1 A nd it cometh to pass that Isaac aged, and his eyes are too dim for seeing, and he calleth Esau his elder son, and saith unto him, `My son;' and he saith unto him, `Here I.'

Когато остаря Исаак и очите му отслабнаха, та не можеше да види, повика по-големия си син Исав и му рече: Синко. А той му рече: Ето ме.

2 A nd he saith, `Lo, I pray thee, I have become aged, I have not known the day of my death;

Тогава той му каза: Виж сега, аз вече остарях; не зная кой ден ще умра;

3 a nd now, take up, I pray thee, thy instruments, thy quiver, and thy bow, and go out to the field, and hunt for me provision,

вземи, прочее, още сега оръжията си, тула си и лъка си, излез на полето и улови ми лов,

4 a nd make for me tasteful things, as I have loved, and bring in to me, and I do eat, so that my soul doth bless thee before I die.'

та ми сготви вкусно ястие, каквото аз обичам и донеси ми да ям, за да те благослови душата ми преди да умра.

5 A nd Rebekah is hearkening while Isaac is speaking unto Esau his son; and Esau goeth to the field to hunt provision -- to bring in;

А Ревека чу, когато говореше Исаак на сина си Исава. И Исав отиде на полето да улови лов и го донесе.

6 a nd Rebekah hath spoken unto Jacob her son, saying, `Lo, I have heard thy father speaking unto Esau thy brother, saying,

Тогава Ревека продума на сина си Якова, казвайки: Виж, аз чух баща ти да говори на брата ти с тия думи:

7 B ring for me provision, and make for me tasteful things, and I do eat, and bless thee before Jehovah before my death.

Донеси ми лов и сготви ми вкусно ястие, за да ям и да те благословя пред Господа преди да умра.

8 ` And now, my son, hearken to my voice, to that which I am commanding thee:

Сега, прочее, синко, каквото ти поръчам, послушай думите ми.

9 G o, I pray thee, unto the flock, and take for me from thence two good kids of the goats, and I make them tasteful things for thy father, as he hath loved;

Иди още сега в стадото и донеси ми от там две добри ярета, и аз ще сготвя вкусно ястие за баща ти, каквото той обича;

10 a nd thou hast taken in to thy father, and he hath eaten, so that his soul doth bless thee before his death.

и ти ще го принесеш на баща си да яде, за да те благослови преди да умре.

11 A nd Jacob saith unto Rebekah his mother, `Lo, Esau my brother a hairy man, and I a smooth man,

Но Яков рече на майка си Ревека: Виж, брат ми Исав е космат, а аз съм гладък.

12 i t may be my father doth feel me, and I have been in his eyes as a deceiver, and have brought upon me disesteem, and not a blessing;'

Може би ще ме попипа баща ми и аз ще се явя пред него като измамник, та ще навлека на себе си проклятие, а не благословение.

13 a nd his mother saith to him, `On me thy disesteem, my son; only hearken to my voice, and go, take for me.'

А майка му рече: Нека твоето проклятие падне върху мене, синко, само послушай думите ми и иди, та ми ги донеси.

14 A nd he goeth, and taketh, and bringeth to his mother, and his mother maketh tasteful things, as his father hath loved;

И тъй, той отиде, взе ги и ги донесе на майка си; и майка му сготви вкусно ястие, каквото баща му обичаше.

15 a nd Rebekah taketh the desirable garments of Esau her elder son, which with her in the house, and doth put on Jacob her younger son;

После Ревека взе по-добрите дрехи на по-стария си син, Исава, които се намираха вкъщи при нея и с тях облече по-младия си син, Якова.

16 a nd the skins of the kids of the goats she hath put on his hands, and on the smooth of his neck,

17 a nd she giveth the tasteful things, and the bread which she hath made, into the hand of Jacob her son.

Тогава даде в ръцете на сина си Якова вкусното ястие и хляба, които бе приготвила.

18 A nd he cometh in unto his father, and saith, `My father;' and he saith, `Here I; who thou, my son?'

И тъй, той отиде при баща си и рече: Тате. А Исаак рече: Ето ме. Кой си ти, синко?

19 A nd Jacob saith unto his father, `I Esau thy first-born; I have done as thou hast spoken unto me; rise, I pray thee, sit, and eat of my provision, so that thy soul doth bless me.'

И Яков рече на баща си: Аз съм първородният ти Исав; сторих каквото ми поръча; стани, моля ти се, седни и яж от лова ми, за да ме благослови душата ти.

20 A nd Isaac saith unto his son, `What this thou hast hasted to find, my son?' and he saith, `That which Jehovah thy God hath caused to come before me.'

Но Исаак рече на сина си: Как стана, синко, че го намери толкова скоро? А той рече: Защото Господ, твоят Бог, ми даде добър успех.

21 A nd Isaac saith unto Jacob, `Come nigh, I pray thee, and I feel thee, my son, whether thou he, my son Esau, or not.'

Тогава Исаак рече на Якова: Моля, синко, приближи се, за да те попипам дали си същият ми син, Исав, или не.

22 A nd Jacob cometh nigh unto Isaac his father, and he feeleth him, and saith, `The voice the voice of Jacob, and the hands hands of Esau.'

И приближи се Яков при баща си Исаака; и той, като го попипа, рече: Гласът е глас Яковов, а ръцете са ръце Исавови.

23 A nd he hath not discerned him, for his hands have been hairy, as the hands of Esau his brother, and he blesseth him,

И не го позна, защото ръцете му бяха космати, като ръцете на брата му Исава; и благослови го.

24 a nd saith, `Thou art he -- my son Esau?' and he saith, `I.'

И каза: Ти ли си същият ми син, Исав? А той рече: Аз.

25 A nd he saith, `Bring nigh to me, and I do eat of my son's provision, so that my soul doth bless thee;' and he bringeth nigh to him, and he eateth; and he bringeth to him wine, and he drinketh.

Тогава каза: Принеси ми и ще ям от лова на сина си, за да те благослови душата ми. И принесе му, та яде; донесе му и вино, та пи.

26 A nd Isaac his father saith to him, `Come nigh, I pray thee, and kiss me, my son;'

А баща му Исаак му рече: Приближи се сега и целуни ме, синко.

27 a nd he cometh nigh, and kisseth him, and he smelleth the fragrance of his garments, and blesseth him, and saith, `See, the fragrance of my son as the fragrance of a field which Jehovah hath blessed;

И той се приближи, та го целуна; и Исаак помириса дъха на облеклото му и го благослови, казвайки: - Ето, дъхът на сина ми е като дъх на поле, което е благословил Господ.

28 a nd God doth give to thee of the dew of heaven, and of the fatness of the earth, and abundance of corn and wine;

Бог да ти даде от росата на небето и от И от тлъстината на земята, И изобилие на жито и на вино.

29 p eoples serve thee, and nations bow themselves to thee, be thou mighty over thy brethren, and the sons of thy mother bow themselves to thee; those who curse thee cursed, and those who bless thee blessed.'

Племена да ти слугуват И народи да ти се покланят; Бъди господар на братята си, И да ти се покланят синовете на майка ти. Проклет всеки, който те кълне, И благословен всеки, който те благославя.

30 A nd it cometh to pass, as Isaac hath finished blessing Jacob, and Jacob is only just going out from the presence of Isaac his father, that Esau his brother hath come in from his hunting;

Щом като свърши Исаак да благославя Якова и Якова току що се беше разделил с баща си Исаака, дойде брат му Исав от лова си.

31 a nd he also maketh tasteful things, and bringeth to his father, and saith to his father, `Let my father arise, and eat of his son's provision, so that thy soul doth bless me.'

Също и той сготви вкусно ястие, принесе на баща си и му рече: Да стане баща ми и да яде от лова на сина си, за да ме благослови душата ти,

32 A nd Isaac his father saith to him, `Who thou?' and he saith, `I thy son, thy first-born, Esau;'

А баща му Исаак му рече: Кой си ти? И той каза: Аз съм син ти, първородният ти, Исав.

33 a nd Isaac trembleth a very great trembling, and saith, `Who, now, he who hath provided provision, and bringeth in to me, and I eat of all before thou comest in, and I bless him? -- yea, blessed is he.'

Тогава Исаак се разтрепера твърде много и каза: А кой ще е оня, който улови лов и ми принесе, та ядох от всичко преди да дойдеш ти, и го благослових?- Да! И благословен ще бъде.

34 W hen Esau heareth the words of his father, then he crieth a very great and bitter cry, and saith to his father, `Bless me, me also, O my father;'

Когато чу Исав бащините си думи, извика със силен и жалостен вик, и рече на баща си: Благослови ме, ей мене, тате.

35 a nd he saith, `Thy brother hath come with subtilty, and taketh thy blessing.'

А той рече: Брат ти дойде с измама и взе твоето благословение.

36 A nd he saith, `Is it because called his name Jacob that he doth take me by the heel these two times? my birthright he hath taken; and lo, now, he hath taken my blessing;' he saith also, `Hast thou not kept back a blessing for me?'

И рече Исав: Право са го нарекли Яков, защото сега втори път той ме е изместил: отне първородството ми и, ето, сега е отнел и благословението ми. И рече: Не си ли задържал за мене благословение?

37 A nd Isaac answereth and saith to Esau, `Lo, a mighty one have I set him over thee, and all his brethren have I given to him for servants, and corn and wine have I sustained him; and for thee now, what shall I do, my son?'

А Исаак в отговор рече на Исава: Ето, поставих го господар над тебе, направих всичките му братя негови слуги и надарих го с жито и вино; какво, прочее, да сторя за тебе, синко?

38 A nd Esau saith unto his father, `One blessing hast thou my father? bless me, me also, O my father;' and Esau lifteth up his voice, and weepeth.

И Исав рече на баща си: Само едно ли благословение имаш, тате? Благослови ме, ей мене, тате. И Исав плака с висок глас.

39 A nd Isaac his father answereth and saith unto him, `Lo, of the fatness of the earth is thy dwelling, and of the dew of the heavens from above;

Тогава баща му Исаак в отговор му каза: Ето, твоето желание ще бъде в тлъстите места на земята, Наросявани от небето горе;

40 a nd by thy sword dost thou live, and thy brother dost thou serve; and it hath come to pass when thou rulest, that thou hast broken his yoke from off thy neck.'

С ножа си ще живееш, а на брата си ще слугуваш; Но когато въстанеш Ще строшиш ярема му от врата си.

41 A nd Esau hateth Jacob, because of the blessing with which his father blessed him, and Esau saith in his heart, `The days of mourning my father draw near, and I slay Jacob my brother.'

И Исав мразеше Якова поради благословението, с което баща му го благослови. И думаше Исав в сърцето си: Скоро ще настанат дните, когато ще оплакваме баща си, тогава ще убия брата си Якова.

42 A nd the words of Esau her elder son are declared to Rebekah, and she sendeth and calleth for Jacob her younger son, and saith unto him, `Lo, Esau thy brother is comforting himself in regard to thee -- to slay thee;

И казаха на Ревека думите на по-стария й син, Исав; затова тя прати да повикат по-младия й син,Якова, и му рече: Виж, брат ти Исав се утешава относно тебе, че ще те убие.

43 a nd now, my son, hearken to my voice, and rise, flee for thyself unto Laban my brother, to Haran,

Сега, прочее, синко, послушай думите ми: стани, та бягай при брата му Лавана в Харан,

44 a nd thou hast dwelt with him some days, till thy brother's fury turn back,

и поживей при него известно време, догде премине яростта на брата ти,

45 t ill thy brother's anger turn back from thee, and he hath forgotten that which thou hast done to him, and I have sent and taken thee from thence; why am I bereaved even of you both the same day?'

догде премине от тебе гнева на брата ти и той забрави това, което си му сторил; тогава ще пратя да те доведат от там. Защо да се лиша и от двама ви в един ден?

46 A nd Rebekah saith unto Isaac, `I have been disgusted with my life because of the presence of the daughters of Heth; if Jacob take a wife of the daughters of Heth, like these -- from the daughters of the land -- why do I live?'

И Ревека каза на Исаака: Омръзна ми живота поради хетейските дъщери. Ако Яков вземе жена от хетейските дъщери, каквито са тия от дъщерите на тая земя, защо живея?
