1 A nd the sons of Israel add to do the evil thing in the eyes of Jehovah when Ehud is dead,

И подир смъртта на Аода израилтяните пак сториха зло пред Господа.

2 a nd Jehovah selleth them into the hand of Jabin king of Canaan, who hath reigned in Hazor, and the head of his host Sisera, and he is dwelling in Harosheth of the Goyim;

Затова Господ ги предаде в ръката на ханаанския цар Явин, който царуваше в Асор, на чиито войски началник беше Сисара, който живееше в Аросет езически.

3 a nd the sons of Israel cry unto Jehovah, for he hath nine hundred chariots of iron, and he hath oppressed the sons of Israel mightily twenty years.

И израилтяните извикаха към Господа; защото Явин имаше деветстотин железни колесници и жестоко притесняваше израилтяните двадесет години.

4 A nd Deborah, a woman inspired, wife of Lapidoth, she is judging Israel at that time,

В онова време пророчица Девора, Лафидотова жена, съдеше Израиля.

5 a nd she is dwelling under the palm-tree of Deborah, between Ramah and Beth-El, in the hill-country of Ephraim, and the sons of Israel go up unto her for judgment.

И тя живееше под Деворцината палма между Рама и Ветил, в Ефремовата хълмиста земя; и израилтяните възлизаха при нея за съд.

6 A nd she sendeth and calleth for Barak son of Abinoam, out of Kedesh-Naphtali, and saith unto him, `Hath not Jehovah, God of Israel, commanded? go, and thou hast drawn towards mount Tabor, and hast taken with thee ten thousand men, out of the sons of Naphtali, and out of the sons of Zebulun,

И тя прати да повикат Варака Авиноамовия син от Нефталимовия Кадис и му рече: Не заповяда ли Господ Израилевият Бог, като каза: Иди, оттегли се в хълма Тавор и вземи със себе си десет хиляди мъже от нефталимците и от завулонците;

7 a nd I have drawn unto thee, unto the brook Kishon, Sisera, head of the host of Jabin, and his chariot, and his multitude, and have given him into thy hand.'

и Аз ще прекарам при тебе, при реката Кисон, Сисара, началник на Явиновата войска, с колесниците му и множеството му, и ще го предам в ръката ти?

8 A nd Barak saith unto her, `If thou dost go with me, then I have gone; and if thou dost not go with me, I do not go;'

А Варак й каза: Ако дойдеш ти с мене, ще отида; но ако не дойдеш с мене, няма да отида.

9 a nd she saith, `I do certainly go with thee; only, surely thy glory is not on the way which thou art going, for into the hand of a woman doth Jehovah sell Sisera;' and Deborah riseth and goeth with Barak to Kedesh.

А тя рече: Непременно ще отида с тебе; но няма да придобиеш чест от похода, на който отиваш, защото в ръката на жена Господ ще предаде Сисара. И тъй, Девора стана та отиде с Варака в Кадис.

10 A nd Barak calleth Zebulun and Naphtali to Kedesh, and he goeth up -- at his feet ten thousand men -- and Deborah goeth up with him.

И Варак свика Завулона и Нефталима в Кадис; и вървяха подир него десет хиляди мъже; и Девора отиде с него.

11 A nd Heber the Kenite hath been separated from the Kenite, from the sons of Hobab father-in-law of Moses, and he stretcheth out his tent unto the oak in Zaanaim, which by Kedesh.

А кенеецът Хевер, от потомците на Моисеевия тъст Овав, беше се отделил от кенейците и беше поставил шатъра си до дъба при Саанаим, който е близо да Кадис.

12 A nd they declare to Sisera that Barak son of Abinoam hath gone up to mount Tabor,

И известиха на Сисара, че Варак Авиноамовият син се изкачил на хълма Тавор.

13 a nd Sisera calleth all his chariots, nine hundred chariots of iron, and all the people who with him, from Harosheth of the Goyim, unto the brook Kishon.

Затова, Сисара свика, от Аросет езически, пре реката Кисон, всичките си колесници, деветстотин железни колесници, и всичките люде, които бяха с него.

14 A nd Deborah saith unto Barak, `Rise, for this the day in which Jehovah hath given Sisera into thy hand; hath not Jehovah gone out before thee?' And Barak goeth down from mount Tabor, and ten thousand men after him.

Тогава Девора каза на Варака: Стани, защото тоя е денят, в който Господ предаде Сисара в ръката ти. Не излезе ли Господ пред тебе? И тъй, Варак слезе от хълма Тавор, и десет хиляди мъже подир него.

15 A nd Jehovah destroyeth Sisera, and all the chariots, and all the camp, by the mouth of the sword, before Barak, and Sisera cometh down from off the chariot, and fleeth on his feet.

И Господ разби Сисара с острото на ножа пред Варака, с всичките му колесници и цялата му войска; и Сисара слезе от колесницата си та побягна пеш.

16 A nd Barak hath pursued after the chariots and after the camp, unto Harosheth of the Goyim, and all the camp of Sisera falleth by the mouth of the sword -- there hath not been left even one.

И Варак преследва колесницата и войската до Аросет езически; и цялата войска на Сисара падна чрез острото на ножа; не остана ни един.

17 A nd Sisera hath fled on his feet unto the tent of Jael wife of Heber the Kenite, for peace between Jabin king of Hazor and the house of Heber the Kenite;

А Сисара побягна пеш в шатъра на Яил, жената на кенееца Хевер; защото имаше мир между асорския цар Явин и дома на кенееца Хевер.

18 a nd Jael goeth out to meet Sisera, and saith unto him, `Turn aside, my lord, turn aside unto me, fear not;' and he turneth aside unto her, into the tent, and she covereth him with a coverlet.

И Яил излезе да посрещне Сисара и рече му: Свърни, господарю мой, свърни у мене; не бой се. И когато свърна у нея в шатъра, тя го покри с черга.

19 A nd he saith unto her, `Give me to drink, I pray thee, a little water, for I am thirsty;' and she openeth the bottle of milk, and giveth him to drink, and covereth him.

И той й каза: Дай ми, моля, да пия вода, защото ожаднях. И тя развърза мех с мляко та му даде да пие; и пак го покри.

20 A nd he saith unto her, `Stand at the opening of the tent, and it hath been, if any doth come in, and hath asked thee, and said, Is there a man here? that thou hast said, There is not.'

И рече й: Застани при входа на шатъра, и ако дойде някой и те попита, казвайки: Има ли някой тук? Кажи: Няма.

21 A nd Jael wife of Heber taketh the pin of the tent, and taketh the hammer in her hand, and goeth unto him gently, and striketh the pin into his temples, and it fasteneth in the earth -- and he hath been fast asleep, and is weary -- and he dieth.

Тогава Яил, Хеверовата жена, взе един кол от шатъра, взе и млат в ръката си, та отиде тихо при него и заби кола в слепите му очи, така щото премина в земята; а той, като беше уморен, спеше дълбоко; и умря.

22 A nd lo, Barak is pursuing Sisera, and Jael cometh out to meet him, and saith to him, `Come, and I shew thee the man whom thou art seeking;' and he cometh in unto her, and lo, Sisera is fallen -- dead, and the pin in his temples.

И, ето, Варак гонеше Сисара; и Яил излезе да го посрещне и рече му: Дойди; ще ти покажа мъжа, когото търсиш. И когато свърна у нея, ето, Сисара лежеше мъртъв, с кола в слепите си очи.

23 A nd God humbleth on that day Jabin king of Canaan before the sons of Israel,

Така в оня ден Бог покори ханаанския цар Явин пред израилтяните.

24 a nd the hand of the sons of Israel goeth, going on and becoming hard on Jabin king of Canaan, till that they have cut off Jabin king of Canaan.

И ръката на израилтяните постоянно преодоляваше над ханаанския цар Явина, докато унищожиха ханаанския цар Явина.
