1 I n those days hath Hezekiah been sick unto death, and come unto him doth Isaiah son of Amoz the prophet, and saith unto him, `Thus said Jehovah: Give a charge to thy house, for thou art dying, and dost not live.'

В това врема Езекия се разболя до смърт; и пророк Исаия, Амосовият син, дойде при наго та му рече: Така казва Господ, нареди за дома си, понеже ще узреш и нама да живееш.

2 A nd he turneth round his face unto the wall, and prayeth unto Jehovah, saying,

Тогава церят обърна лицето си към стената та се помоли Господу, казвайки:

3 ` I pray Thee, O Jehovah, remember, I pray Thee, how I have walked habitually before Thee in truth, and with a perfect heart, and that which good in Thine eyes I have done;' and Hezekiah weepeth -- a great weeping.

Моля Ти се, Господи, спомни си сега как ходих пред Тебе с вярност и с цяло сърце, и върших това, което е угодно пред Тебе. И Езекия плака горко.

4 A nd it cometh to pass -- Isaiah hath not gone out to the middle court -- that the word of Jehovah hath been unto him, saying,

А преди да беше излязъл Исаия до средната част на града, Господното слово дойде към него и рече:

5 ` Turn back, and thou hast said unto Hezekiah, leader of My people: Thus said Jehovah, God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tear, lo, I give healing to thee, on the third day thou dost go up to the house of Jehovah;

Върни се та кажи на вожда на Моите люде, Езекия, така казва Господ, Бог на баща ти Давида: Чух молитвата ти, видях сълзите ти; ето Аз ще те изцеля; след три дена ще възлезеш в Господния дом.

6 a nd I have added to thy days fifteen years, and out of the hand of the king of Asshur I deliver thee and this city, and have covered over this city for Mine own sake, and for the sake of David My servant.'

Ще приложа на живота ти петнадесет години; и ще избавя тебе и тоя град от ръката на асирийския цар; и ще защитя тоя град заради Себе Си и заради слугата Ми Давида.

7 A nd Isaiah saith, `Take ye a cake of figs;' and they take and lay on the boil, and he reviveth.

Тогава Исаия каза: Вземете низаница смокини. И взеха та я туриха на цирея; и циреят оздравя.

8 A nd Hezekiah saith unto Isaiah, `What the sign that Jehovah doth give healing to me, that I have gone up on the third day to the house of Jehovah?'

А Езекия беше казал на Исаия: Какво ще бъде знамението, че Господ ще ме изцели, и че след три дена ще отида в Господния дом?

9 A nd Isaiah saith, `This to thee the sign from Jehovah, that Jehovah doth the thing that He hath spoken -- The shadow hath gone on ten degrees, or it doth turn back ten degrees?'

И Исаия беше рекъл: Ето какво ще ти бъде знамението от Господа, че Господ ще извърши това, което каза: избери - да напредне ли сянката дсет стъпала, или да се върне надире десет стъпала?

10 A nd Hezekiah saith, `It hath been light for the shadow to incline ten degrees: nay, but let the shadow turn backward ten degrees.'

И Езекия отговори: Лесно нещо е да слезе сянката десет стъпала; не, но нека се върне сянката десет стъпала надире.

11 A nd Isaiah the prophet calleth unto Jehovah, and He bringeth back the shadow by the degrees that it had gone down in the degrees of Ahaz -- backward ten degrees.

И пророк Исаия извика към Господа; и Той върна сянката десет стъпала надире, по които беше слязла в слънчевия часовник на Ахаза.

12 A t that time hath Berodach-Baladan son of Baladan king of Babylon sent letters and a present unto Hezekiah, for he heard that Hezekiah had been sick;

В онова време вавилонският цар Веродах-валадан, Валадановият син, прати писмо и подарък на Езекия, защото чу, че Езекия бил се разболял.

13 a nd Hezekiah hearkeneth unto them, and sheweth them all the house of his treasury, the silver, and the gold, and the spices, and the good ointment, and all the house of his vessels, and all that hath been found in his treasuries; there hath not been a thing that Hezekiah hath not shewed them, in his house, and in all his dominion.

И Езекия ги изслуша, и показа им цялата къща със скъпоценните си вещи - среброто и златото, ароматите и скъпоценните масла, целия си оръжеен склад, и всичко каквото се намираше между съкровищата му; в къщата му и в цялото му владение не остана нищо, което Езекия не им показа.

14 A nd Isaiah the prophet cometh in unto king Hezekiah, and saith unto him, `What said these men? and whence come they unto thee?' And Hezekiah saith, `From a land afar off they have come -- from Babylon.'

Тогава дойде пророк Исаия при цар Езекия та му рече: Какво казаха тия човеци? и от где дойдоха при тебе? И Езекия рече: От далечна земя идат, от Вавилон.

15 A nd he saith, `What saw they in thy house?' and Hezekiah saith, `All that in my house they saw; there hath not been a thing that I have not shewed them among my treasures.'

Тогава каза: Що видяха в къщата ти? И Езекия отговори: Видяха всичко що има в къщата ми; няма нищо между съкровищата ми, което не им показах.

16 A nd Isaiah saith unto Hezekiah, `Hear a word of Jehovah:

Тогава Исаия рече на Езекия: Слушай Господното слово:

17 L o, days are coming, and borne hath been all that in thy house, and that thy father have treasured up till this day, to Babylon; there is not left a thing, said Jehovah;

Ето, идат дни, когато всичко що е в къщата ти, и каквото бащите ти са събрали до тоя ден, ще се пренесе у Вавилон; няма да остани нищо, казва Господ.

18 a nd of thy sons who go out from thee, whom thou begettest, they take away, and they have been eunuchs in the palace of the king of Babylon.'

И ще отведат от синовете, които излязат от тебе, които ще родиш; и те ще станат скопци+ в палата на вавилонския цар.

19 A nd Hezekiah saith unto Isaiah, `Good the word of Jehovah that thou hast spoken;' and he saith, `Is it not -- if peace and truth are in my days?'

Тогава Езекия рече на Исаия: Добро е Господното слово, което ти изрече. Прибави още: Не е ли тъй, щом в моите дни ще има мир и вярност?

20 A nd the rest of the matters of Hezekiah, and all his might, and how he made the pool, and the conduit, and bringeth in the waters to the city, are they not written on the book of the Chronicles of the kings of Judah?

А останалите дела на Езекия, и всичкото му юначество, и как направи водоема и водопровода та доведе вода в града, не сали написани в Книгата на летописите на Юдовите царе?

21 A nd Hezekiah lieth with his fathers, and reign doth Manasseh his son in his stead.

И Езекия заспа с бащите си: и вместо него се възцари син му Манасия.
