1 T hus said Jehovah, `Go down the house of the king of Judah, and thou hast spoken there this word, and hast said,

Така казва Господ: Слез в къщата на Юдовия цар, та изговори там това слово, като кажеш:

2 H ear a word of Jehovah, O king of Judah, who art sitting on the throne of David, thou, and thy servants, and thy people, who are coming in at these gates,

Слушай словото Господно, царю Юдов, Който седиш на Давидовия престол, Ти, и слугите ти, и людете ти, Които влизате през тия порти -

3 T hus said Jehovah: Do ye judgment and righteousness, And deliver the plundered from the hand of the oppressor, And sojourner, orphan, and widow, ye do not oppress nor wrong, And innocent blood ye do not shed in this place.

Така казва Господ: Извършвайте правосъдие и правда, И отървавайте обрания от ръката на насилника; Не онеправдавайте, нито насилвайте Чужденеца, сирачето и вдовицата, И невинна кръв не проливайте на това място.

4 F or, if ye certainly do this thing, Then come in by the gates of this house Have kings sitting for David on his throne, Riding on chariot, and on horses, He, and his servants, and his people.

Защото, ако наистина вършите това, Тогава през портите на тоя дом ще влизат Царе, седящи на Давидовия престол, Возени на колесници и яздещи коне, Те, слугите им, и людете им.

5 A nd if ye do not hear these words, By myself I have sworn -- an affirmation of Jehovah, That this house is for a desolation.

Но ако не послушате тия думи, Заклевам ми в Себе Си, казва Господ, Че тоя дом ще запустее.

6 F or thus said Jehovah, Concerning the house of the king of Judah: Gilead thou to Me -- head of Lebanon, If not -- I make thee a wilderness, Cities not inhabited.

Защото така казва Господ за дома на Юдовия цар: Ти Ми си Галаад и ливански връх; Но ще те обърна в пустиня, В градове ненаселени.

7 A nd I have separated for thee destroyers, Each with his weapons, And they have cut down the choice of thy cedars, And have cast them on the fire.

Ще приготвя против тебе изтребители, Всеки с оръжията му; Та ще изсекат отбраните ти кедри И ще ги хвърлят в огъня.

8 A nd many nations have passed by this city, And they have said, each to his neighbour, For what hath Jehovah done thus to this great city?

И много народи, като минат край тоя град, Ще рекат на ближния си: Защо постъпи така Господ с тоя голям град?

9 A nd they have said, `Because that they have forsaken The covenant of Jehovah their God, And bow themselves to other gods, and serve them.'

И ще отговорят: Защото оставиха завета на Господа своя Бог Та се поклониха на други богове И им служиха.

10 Y e do not weep for the dead, nor bemoan for him, Weep ye sore for the traveller, For he doth not return again, Nor hath he seen the land of his birth.

Не плачете за умрелия, Нито ридайте за него; Но плачете горчиво за оногова, който отива, Защото няма да се върне вече, Нито ще види пак родната си земя.

11 F or thus said Jehovah concerning Shallum son of Josiah king of Judah, who is reigning instead of Josiah his father, who hath gone forth from this place: He doth not turn back hither again;

Защото така казва Господ За Селума, син на Юдовия цар Иосия, Който царуваше вместо баща си Иосия, Който и излезе от това място: Той няма да се върне вече;

12 F or in the place whither they have removed him he dieth, And this land he doth not see again.

Но на мястото гдето го закараха пленник, там ще умре, И няма да види вече тая земя.

13 W o to him who is building his house by unrighteousness, And his upper chambers by injustice, On his neighbour he layeth service for nought, And his wage he doth not give to him.

Горко на онзи, който строи къщата си с неправда, И стаите си с кривда; Който кара ближния си да му работи без заплата, И не му дава надницата му;

14 W ho is saying, `I build for myself a large house, And airy upper chambers,' And he hath cut out for himself its windows, Ceiled with cedar, and painted with vermillion.

Който си казва: Ще си построя голяма къща и широки стаи, В които си отваря прозорци, И я покрива с кедър, и я боядисва с алено.

15 D ost thou reign, because thou art fretting thyself in cedar? Thy father -- did he not eat and drink? Yea, he did judgment and righteousness, Then well with him.

Понеже гледаш да си натрупаш кедрове, ще царуваш ли? Баща ти не ядеше и не пиеше ли? Да! но той извършваше правосъдие и правда, Тогава благоденствуваше.

16 H e decided the cause of the poor and needy, Then well -- is it not to know Me? An affirmation of Jehovah.

Отсъждаше делото на сиромаха и на немотния; Тогава благоденствуваше. Не значеше ли това да Ме познава? казва Бог.

17 B ut thine eyes and thy heart are not, Except on thy dishonest gain, And on shedding of innocent blood, And on oppression, and on doing of violence.

А твоите очи и твоето сърце не са в друго, Освен в нечестната си печалба, и в проливане невинна кръв, И в извършване насилство и угнетение.

18 T herefore, thus said Jehovah concerning Jehoiakim son of Josiah king of Judah: They do not lament for him, Ah, my brother, and Ah, sister, They do not lament for him, Ah, lord, and Ah, his honour.

Затова, така казва Господ За Юдовия цар Иоаким, Иосиевия син: Няма да го оплакват, казвайки: Горко, брате мой! или: Горко сестро! Няма да го плачат, казвайки: Горко, господарю! или: Горко, негово величество!

19 T he burial of an ass -- he is buried, Dragged and cast out thence to the gates of Jerusalem.

Той ще бъде погребан със оселско погребение, Извлечен и хвърлен оттатък ерусалимските порти.

20 G o up to Lebanon, and cry, And in Bashan give forth thy voice, And cry from Abarim, For destroyed have been all loving thee.

Възлез на Ливан та извикай, С висок глас извикай от Аварим към Васан, Защото загинаха всичките ти любовници.

21 I have spoken unto thee in thine ease, Thou hast said, `I do not hearken,' This thy way from thy youth, For thou hast not hearkened to My voice.

Говорих ти в благоденствието ти; Но ти рече: Не ща да слушам. Такава е била обходата ти от младостта ти, Че ти не слушаше гласа ми.

22 A ll thy friends consume doth wind, And thy lovers into captivity do go, Surely then thou art ashamed, And hast blushed for all thy wickedness.

Вятърът ще се храни с всичките ти овчари, И любовниците ти ще отидат в плен; Навярно тогава ще се смутиш и посрамиш Поради всичката си злина.

23 O dweller in Lebanon, making a nest among cedars, How gracious hast thou been when pangs come to thee, Pain -- as of a travailing woman.

Ти, която населяваш Ливан, Която правиш гнездото си в кедрите, Колко ще бъдат за жалене, Когато те нападнат мъки, Болки, като на жена, която ражда!

24 I live -- an affirmation of Jehovah, Though Coniah son of Jehoiakim king of Judah Were a seal on My right hand, Surely thence I draw thee away,

Заклевам се в живота Си, казва Господ, Че даже ако Иехония, син на Юдовия цар Иоаким, Би бил печат на дясната Ми ръка, И от там бих те откъснал;

25 A nd I have given thee into the hand of those seeking thy life, And into hands of which thou art afraid, Into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, And into the hand of the Chaldeans.

И ще те предам в ръката на ония, които искат живота ти, И в ръката на ония, от които се боиш, Да! в ръката на Вавилонския цар Навуходоносора, И в ръката на халдейците.

26 A nd I have cast thee, And thy mother who bore thee, unto another country, Where ye were not born, and there do ye die.

Ще отхвърля тебе И майка ти, която те е родила, В друга земя, дето не сте се родили; И там ще умрете.

27 A nd to the land whither they are lifting up their soul to return, Thither they do not return.

А в земята гдето душата им желае да се върне, Там няма да се върнат.

28 A grief -- a despised broken thing -- is this man Coniah? A vessel in which there is no pleasure? Wherefore have they been cast up and down, He and his seed, Yea, they were cast on to a land that they knew not?

Нима тоя човек Иехония е строшено и презряно грънчарско изделие, Или непотребен съд? Тогава защо бяха отметнати, той и потомството му, И бяха хвърлени в страна, която не познават?

29 E arth, earth, earth, hear a word of Jehovah,

О, земльо, земльо, чуй словото Господно:

30 T hus said Jehovah: Write ye this man childless, A man -- he doth not prosper in his days, For none of his seed doth prosper, Sitting on the throne of David, And ruling again in Judah!

Така казва Господ: Запишете тоя човек за бездетен, Човек, който няма да успее в дните си; Защото ни един човек от потомството му Ще успее да седи на Давидовия престол И да властвува вече над Юда.
