1 H ear ye this, house of Jacob, who are called by the name of Israel, and are come forth out of the waters of Judah, who swear by the name of Jehovah, and make mention of the God of Israel, not in truth, nor in righteousness.

Чуйте това, доме Яковов, Които сте се нарекли с Израилевото име, Които излязохте из Юдовия източник. Които се кълнете в името Господно И си спомняте за Бога Израилев, Но не с истина, нито с правда;

2 F or they are named after the holy city, and stay themselves upon the God of Israel: Jehovah of hosts is his name.

(Защото наименуват се от светия град, И се облягат на Израилевия Бог, Чието име е Иеова на Силите):

3 I have declared the former things long ago; and they went forth out of my mouth, and I caused them to be heard: I wrought suddenly, and they came to pass.

От древността обявих предишните дела; Да! излязоха из устата Ми, и Аз ги прогласих; Внезапно ги извърших, и те се сбъднаха.

4 B ecause I knew that thou art obstinate, and thy neck is an iron sinew, and thy brow brass,

Понеже познавах, че си упорит, Че вратът ти е желязна жила, и челото ти медно,

5 s o I have long ago declared to thee; before they came to pass I caused thee to hear; lest thou shouldest say, Mine idol hath done them, and my graven image, or my molten image hath commanded them.

Затова от древността ти обявих тия неща, Преди да станат прогласих ти ги, Да не би да речеш: Идолът ми ги извърши, да! изваяното ми, И излеяното ми ги заповяда.

6 T hou heardest, see all this;—and ye, will not ye declare ? I have caused thee to hear new things from this time, and things hidden, and that thou knewest not:

Това ти си чул; виж всичко това; И вие, не ще ли го вие прогласите? От сега ти изявявам нови неща, Дори скрити, които ти не си знаел.

7 t hey are created now, and not long ago; and before this day thou hast not heard them, lest thou shouldest say, Behold, I knew them.

Те сега станаха, а не отдавна, И преди този ден нито си слушал за тях, Да не би да речеш: Ето, аз знаех това.

8 Y ea, thou heardest not, yea, thou knewest not, yea, from of old thine ear was not opened; for I knew that thou wouldest ever deal treacherously, and thou wast called a transgressor from the womb.

Нито даже си слушал, нито даже си знаел, Нито даже са били отворени от древността ушите ти; Защото знаех, че ти постъпваше много коварно, И още от утробата си бил наречен престъпник.

9 F or my name's sake I will defer mine anger, and my praise will I refrain as to thee, that I cut thee not off.

Заради Своето име ще отложа изливането на гнева Си, И заради славата Си ще се въздържа от тебе, да те не изтребя.

10 B ehold, I have refined thee, but not as silver; I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction.

Ето, очистих те, но не като сребро; Изпитах те в пещта на скръбта.

11 F or mine own sake, for mine own sake, will I do; for how should be profaned? and I will not give my glory unto another.

Заради Себе Си ще сторя това; Защото как да се оскверни името Ми ? Да! не ще да дам славата Си на друг.

12 H earken unto me, Jacob, and Israel, my called. I HE; I, the first, and I, the last.

Чуй Ме, Якове, и Израилю, когото Аз призовах: Аз съм същият, Аз първият и Аз последният.

13 Y ea, my hand hath laid the foundation of the earth, and my right hand hath spread abroad the heavens: I call unto them, they stand up together.

Да! Моята ръка основа земята, И десницата Ми разпростря небето; Когато ги извикам, те всички се представят.

14 A ll ye, gather yourselves together, and hear: which among them hath declared these things? He whom Jehovah hath loved shall execute his pleasure on Babylon, and his arm the Chaldeans.

Съберете се, всички вие, и чуйте: Кой от тях е възвестил това? Оня, когото Господ възлюби, ще извърши волята Му над Вавилон, И мишцата му ще бъде над халдеите.

15 I , I, have spoken; yea, I have called him; I have brought him, and his way shall be prosperous.

Аз, Аз говорих, да! призовах го; Доведох го; и пътят му ще благоуспее.

16 C ome near unto me, hear ye this: I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; from the time that it was, there am I; and now the Lord Jehovah hath sent me, and his Spirit.

Приближете се при Мене, чуйте това: От начало не съм говорил скришно; Откак стана това, Аз бях там; И сега ме прати Господ Иеова и Духът Му.

17 T hus saith Jehovah, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I Jehovah thy God, who teacheth thee for profit, who leadeth thee in the way that thou shouldest go.

Така казва Господ Изкупителят ти, Светият Израилев: Аз съм Господ твоят Бог, Който те учи за ползата ти, Който те води в пътя, по който трябва да ходиш.

18 O h that thou hadst hearkened to my commandments! Then would thy peace have been as a river, and thy righteousness as the waves of the sea;

Дано би послушал ти заповедите Ми! Тогава мирът ти щеше да бъде като река, И правдата ти като морските вълни;

19 a nd thy seed would have been as the sand, and the offspring of thy bowels like the gravel thereof: their name should not have been cut off nor destroyed from before me.

Потомството ти щеше да бъде като пясъка, И рожбите на чреслата ти като зърната му; Името му не би се отсякло Нито би се изтребило отпред Мене.

20 G o ye forth from Babylon, flee from the Chaldeans, with a voice of singing; declare, cause this to be heard, utter it to the end of the earth; say ye, Jehovah hath redeemed his servant Jacob.

Излезте от Вавилон, бягайте от халдеите; С възклицателен глас прогласете, проповядвайте това, Разгласете го до земния край, Речете: Господ изкупи слугата Си Якова.

21 A nd they thirsted not when he led them through the deserts; he caused the waters to flow out of the rock for them; yea, he clave the rock, and the waters gushed out.

И те не жадуваха, когато ги водеше през пустините; Той направи да изтекат за тях води из канарата, Още разцепи канарата, и потекоха водите.

22 T here is no peace, saith Jehovah, unto the wicked.

Мир няма за нечестивите, казва Господ.
