1 T hese are the journeys of the children of Israel, which went forth out of the land of Egypt with their armies under the hand of Moses and Aaron.

Оце походи Ізраїлевих синів, що вийшли з єгипетського краю за своїми військовими відділами під рукою Мойсея та Аарона.

2 A nd Moses wrote their goings out according to their journeys by the commandment of the Lord: and these are their journeys according to their goings out.

А Мойсей написав їхні виходи з їхніми походами за Господнім наказом, і оце їхні походи за їхніми виходами.

3 A nd they departed from Rameses in the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month; on the morrow after the passover the children of Israel went out with an high hand in the sight of all the Egyptians.

І рушили вони з Рамесесу першого місяця, п'ятнадцятого дня першого місяця, другого дня по Пасці вийшли Ізраїлеві сини сильною рукою на очах усього Єгипту.

4 F or the Egyptians buried all their firstborn, which the Lord had smitten among them: upon their gods also the Lord executed judgments.

А Єгипет ховав, кого побив Господь серед них, кожного перворідного, а над їхніми богами зробив Господь суди.

5 A nd the children of Israel removed from Rameses, and pitched in Succoth.

І рушили Ізраїлеві сини з Рамесесу, і таборували в Суккоті.

6 A nd they departed from Succoth, and pitched in Etham, which is in the edge of the wilderness.

І рушили з Суккоту й таборували в Етамі, що на краю пустині.

7 A nd they removed from Etham, and turned again unto Pihahiroth, which is before Baalzephon: and they pitched before Migdol.

І рушили з Етаму, а вернулися до Пі-Хіроту, що перед Баал-Цефоном, і таборували перед Міґдолом.

8 A nd they departed from before Pihahiroth, and passed through the midst of the sea into the wilderness, and went three days'journey in the wilderness of Etham, and pitched in Marah.

І рушили з-перед Хіроту, і перейшли серед моря до пустині, і йшли триденною дорогою в Етамській пустині, і таборували в Марі.

9 A nd they removed from Marah, and came unto Elim: and in Elim were twelve fountains of water, and threescore and ten palm trees; and they pitched there.

І рушили з Мари й увійшли до Еліму, а в Елімі дванадцять джерел води та сімдесят пальм, і таборували там.

10 A nd they removed from Elim, and encamped by the Red sea.

І рушили з Еліму й таборували над Червоним морем.

11 A nd they removed from the Red sea, and encamped in the wilderness of Sin.

І рушили з-над Червоного моря й таборували в пустині Сін.

12 A nd they took their journey out of the wilderness of Sin, and encamped in Dophkah.

І рушили з пустині Сін і таборували в Дофці.

13 A nd they departed from Dophkah, and encamped in Alush.

І рушили з Дофки й таборували в Алуші.

14 A nd they removed from Alush, and encamped at Rephidim, where was no water for the people to drink.

І рушили з Алушу й таборували в Ріфідімі, і не було там води на пиття для народу.

15 A nd they departed from Rephidim, and pitched in the wilderness of Sinai.

І рушили з Ріфідіму й таборували в пустині Сінай.

16 A nd they removed from the desert of Sinai, and pitched at Kibrothhattaavah.

І рушили з пустині Сінай і таборували в Ківрот-Гаттааві.

17 A nd they departed from Kibrothhattaavah, and encamped at Hazeroth.

І рушили з Ківрот-Гаттаави й таборували в Хацероті.

18 A nd they departed from Hazeroth, and pitched in Rithmah.

І рушили з Хацероту й таборували в Рітмі.

19 A nd they departed from Rithmah, and pitched at Rimmonparez.

І рушили з Рітми й таборували в Ріммоні Переца.

20 A nd they departed from Rimmonparez, and pitched in Libnah.

І рушили з Ріммону Переца й таборували в Лівні.

21 A nd they removed from Libnah, and pitched at Rissah.

І рушили з Лівни й таборували в Ріссі.

22 A nd they journeyed from Rissah, and pitched in Kehelathah.

І рушили з Рісси й таборували в Кегелаті.

23 A nd they went from Kehelathah, and pitched in mount Shapher.

І рушили з Кегелати й таборували на горі Шефер.

24 A nd they removed from mount Shapher, and encamped in Haradah.

І рушили з гори Шефер і таборували в Хараді.

25 A nd they removed from Haradah, and pitched in Makheloth.

І рушили з Харади й таборували в Макгелоті.

26 A nd they removed from Makheloth, and encamped at Tahath.

І рушили з Макгелоту й таборували в Тахаті.

27 A nd they departed from Tahath, and pitched at Tarah.

І рушили з Тахату й таборували в Тераху.

28 A nd they removed from Tarah, and pitched in Mithcah.

І рушили з Тераху й таборували в Мітці.

29 A nd they went from Mithcah, and pitched in Hashmonah.

І рушили з Мітки й таборували в Хашмоні.

30 A nd they departed from Hashmonah, and encamped at Moseroth.

І рушили з Хашмони й таборували в Мосероті.

31 A nd they departed from Moseroth, and pitched in Benejaakan.

І рушили з Мосероту й таборували в Бене-Яакані.

32 A nd they removed from Benejaakan, and encamped at Horhagidgad.

І рушили з Бене-Яакану й таборували в Хорі Ґідґаду.

33 A nd they went from Horhagidgad, and pitched in Jotbathah.

І рушили з Хору Ґідґаду й таборували в Йотваті.

34 A nd they removed from Jotbathah, and encamped at Ebronah.

І рушили з Йотвати й таборували в Авроні.

35 A nd they departed from Ebronah, and encamped at Eziongaber.

І рушили з Аврони й таборували в Ецйон-Ґевері.

36 A nd they removed from Eziongaber, and pitched in the wilderness of Zin, which is Kadesh.

І рушили з Ецйон-Ґеверу й таборували в пустині Цін, це Кадеш.

37 A nd they removed from Kadesh, and pitched in mount Hor, in the edge of the land of Edom.

І рушили з Кадешу й таборували на Гор-горі, на краю едомської землі.

38 A nd Aaron the priest went up into mount Hor at the commandment of the Lord, and died there, in the fortieth year after the children of Israel were come out of the land of Egypt, in the first day of the fifth month.

І зійшов священик Аарон на Гор-гору з Господнього наказу, та й помер там сорокового року виходу Ізраїлевих синів з єгипетського краю, п'ятого місяця, першого дня місяця.

39 A nd Aaron was an hundred and twenty and three years old when he died in mount Hor.

А Аарон був віку ста й двадцяти й трьох літ, коли помер він на Гор-горі.

40 A nd king Arad the Canaanite, which dwelt in the south in the land of Canaan, heard of the coming of the children of Israel.

І почув ханаанеянин, цар Араду, а він сидів на півдні в Краї ханаанськім, що йдуть Ізраїлеві сини.

41 A nd they departed from mount Hor, and pitched in Zalmonah.

І рушили від Гор-гори й таборували в Цалмоні.

42 A nd they departed from Zalmonah, and pitched in Punon.

І рушили з Цалмони й таборували в Пуноні.

43 A nd they departed from Punon, and pitched in Oboth.

І рушили з Пунону й таборували в Овоті.

44 A nd they departed from Oboth, and pitched in Ijeabarim, in the border of Moab.

І рушили з Овоту й таборували в Ійє-Гааварімі, на моавській границі.

45 A nd they departed from Iim, and pitched in Dibongad.

І рушили з Ійїму й таборували в Дівоні Ґаду.

46 A nd they removed from Dibongad, and encamped in Almondiblathaim.

І рушили з Дівону Ґаду й таборували в Алмон-Дівлатаймі.

47 A nd they removed from Almondiblathaim, and pitched in the mountains of Abarim, before Nebo.

І рушили з Алмон-Дівлатайми й таборували в горах Аварім перед Нево.

48 A nd they departed from the mountains of Abarim, and pitched in the plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho.

І рушили з гір Аварім, і таборували в моавських степах.

49 A nd they pitched by Jordan, from Bethjesimoth even unto Abelshittim in the plains of Moab.

І таборували вони над Йорданом від Бет-Єшмоту аж до Авел-Шіттіму в моавських степах.

50 A nd the Lord spake unto Moses in the plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho, saying,

І Господь промовляв до Мойсея в моавських степах над приєрихонським Йорданом, говорячи:

51 S peak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye are passed over Jordan into the land of Canaan;

Промовляй до Ізраїлевих синів та й скажеш до них: Коли ви перейдете Йордан до ханаанського Краю,

52 T hen ye shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, and destroy all their pictures, and destroy all their molten images, and quite pluck down all their high places:

то проженете всіх мешканців того Краю перед собою, і понищите всі їхні зображення, і всіх литих ідолів їхніх понищите, і всі їхні висоти поруйнуєте.

53 A nd ye shall dispossess the inhabitants of the land, and dwell therein: for I have given you the land to possess it.

І ви заволодієте тим Краєм, і осядете в ньому, бо Я дав вам той Край на власність.

54 A nd ye shall divide the land by lot for an inheritance among your families: and to the more ye shall give the more inheritance, and to the fewer ye shall give the less inheritance: every man's inheritance shall be in the place where his lot falleth; according to the tribes of your fathers ye shall inherit.

І ви заволодієте тим Краєм жеребком за вашими родами: численному збільшите власність його, а малому зменшите власність його, де вийде йому жеребок, туди йому буде, за племенами ваших батьків будете володіти собі.

55 B ut if ye will not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you; then it shall come to pass, that those which ye let remain of them shall be pricks in your eyes, and thorns in your sides, and shall vex you in the land wherein ye dwell.

А якщо ви не виженете мешканців того Краю від себе, то будуть ті, кого позоставите з них, колючками в ваших очах та тернями в ваших боках. І будуть вас утискати на тій землі, що на ній ви сидітимете.

56 M oreover it shall come to pass, that I shall do unto you, as I thought to do unto them.

І станеться, як Я думав був учинити їм, учиню те вам.
