1 ^ ^Плачевная песнь, которую Давид воспел Господу по делу Хуса, из племени Вениаминова.^^ (7-2) Господи, Боже мой! на Тебя я уповаю; спаси меня от всех гонителей моих и избавь меня;

O Jehovah my God, in thee do I take refuge: Save me from all them that pursue me, and deliver me,

2 ( 7-3) да не исторгнет он, подобно льву, души моей, терзая, когда нет избавляющего.

Lest they tear my soul like a lion, Rending it in pieces, while there is none to deliver.

3 ( 7-4) Господи, Боже мой! если я что сделал, если есть неправда в руках моих,

O Jehovah my God, if I have done this; If there be iniquity in my hands;

4 ( 7-5) если я платил злом тому, кто был со мною в мире, --я, который спасал даже того, кто без причины стал моим врагом, --

If I have rewarded evil unto him that was at peace with me; (Yea, I have delivered him that without cause was mine adversary;)

5 ( 7-6) то пусть враг преследует душу мою и настигнет, пусть втопчет в землю жизнь мою, и славу мою повергнет в прах.

Let the enemy pursue my soul, and overtake it; Yea, let him tread my life down to the earth, And lay my glory in the dust. Selah

6 ( 7-7) Восстань, Господи, во гневе Твоем; подвигнись против неистовства врагов моих, пробудись для меня на суд, который Ты заповедал, --

Arise, O Jehovah, in thine anger; Lift up thyself against the rage of mine adversaries, And awake for me; thou hast commanded judgment.

7 ( 7-8) сонм людей станет вокруг Тебя; над ним поднимись на высоту.

And let the congregation of the peoples compass thee about; And over them return thou on high.

8 ( 7-9) Господь судит народы. Суди меня, Господи, по правде моей и по непорочности моей во мне.

Jehovah ministereth judgment to the peoples: Judge me, O Jehovah, according to my righteousness, and to mine integrity that is in me.

9 ( 7-10) Да прекратится злоба нечестивых, а праведника подкрепи, ибо Ты испытуешь сердца и утробы, праведный Боже!

O let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end, but establish thou the righteous: For the righteous God trieth the minds and hearts.

10 ( 7-11) Щит мой в Боге, спасающем правых сердцем.

My shield is with God, Who saveth the upright in heart.

11 ( 7-12) Бог--судия праведный, и Бог, всякий день строго взыскивающий,

God is a righteous judge, Yea, a God that hath indignation every day.

12 ( 7-13) если не обращается. Он изощряет Свой меч, напрягает лук Свой и направляет его,

If a man turn not, he will whet his sword; He hath bent his bow, and made it ready.

13 ( 7-14) приготовляет для него сосуды смерти, стрелы Свои делает палящими.

He hath also prepared for him the instruments of death; He maketh his arrows fiery shafts.

14 ( 7-15) Вот, зачал неправду, был чреват злобою и родил себе ложь;

Behold, he travaileth with iniquity; Yea, he hath conceived mischief, and brought forth falsehood.

15 ( 7-16) рыл ров, и выкопал его, и упал в яму, которую приготовил:

He hath made a pit, and digged it, And is fallen into the ditch which he made.

16 ( 7-17) злоба его обратится на его голову, и злодейство его упадет на его темя.

His mischief shall return upon his own head, And his violence shall come down upon his own pate.

17 ( 7-18) Славлю Господа по правде Его и пою имени Господа Всевышнего.

I will give thanks unto Jehovah according to his righteousness, And will sing praise to the name of Jehovah Most High.
