1 B endeciré a Jehová en todo tiempo; Su alabanza estará de continuo en mi boca.

I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.

2 E n Jehová se gloriará mi alma; Lo oirán los mansos, y se alegrarán.

My soul will make its boast in the Lord; The humble will hear it and rejoice.

3 E ngrandeced a Jehová conmigo, Y exaltemos a una su nombre.

O magnify the Lord with me, And let us exalt His name together.

4 B usqué a Jehová, y él me escuchó, Y me libró de todos mis temores.

I sought the Lord, and He answered me, And delivered me from all my fears.

5 L os que miraron hacia él fueron alumbrados, Y sus rostros no fueron avergonzados.

They looked to Him and were radiant, And their faces will never be ashamed.

6 E ste pobre clamó, y le escuchó Jehová, Y lo libró de todas sus angustias.

This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him And saved him out of all his troubles.

7 E l ángel de Jehová acampa alrededor de los que le temen, Y los defiende.

The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him, And rescues them.

8 G ustad, y ved cuán bueno es Jehová; Dichoso el hombre que confía en él.

O taste and see that the Lord is good; How blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him!

9 T emed a Jehová, vosotros sus santos, Pues nada falta a los que le temen.

O fear the Lord, you His saints; For to those who fear Him there is no want.

10 L os potentados se empobrecen, y tienen hambre; Pero los que buscan a Jehová no tendrán falta de ningún bien.

The young lions do lack and suffer hunger; But they who seek the Lord shall not be in want of any good thing.

11 V enid, hijos, oídme; En el temor de Jehová os instruiré.

Come, you children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the Lord.

12 ¿ Quién es el hombre que desea vida, Que busca muchos días para ver el bien?

Who is the man who desires life And loves length of days that he may see good?

13 G uarda tu lengua del mal, Y tus labios de hablar engaño.

Keep your tongue from evil And your lips from speaking deceit.

14 A pártate del mal, y haz el bien; Busca la paz, y corre tras ella.

Depart from evil and do good; Seek peace and pursue it.

15 L os ojos de Jehová están sobre los justos, Y atentos sus oídos al clamor de ellos.

The eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous And His ears are open to their cry.

16 L a ira de Jehová contra los que hacen mal, Para cortar de la tierra la memoria de ellos.

The face of the Lord is against evildoers, To cut off the memory of them from the earth.

17 C laman los justos, y Jehová oye, Y los libra de todas sus angustias.

The righteous cry, and the Lord hears And delivers them out of all their troubles.

18 C ercano está Jehová a los quebrantados de corazón; Y salva a los contritos de espíritu.

The Lord is near to the brokenhearted And saves those who are crushed in spirit.

19 M uchas son las aflicciones del justo, Pero de todas ellas le librará Jehová.

Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the Lord delivers him out of them all.

20 É l guarda todos sus huesos; Ni uno de ellos será quebrantado.

He keeps all his bones, Not one of them is broken.

21 M atará al malo la maldad, Y los que aborrecen al justo serán condenados.

Evil shall slay the wicked, And those who hate the righteous will be condemned.

22 J ehová redime el alma de sus siervos, Y no serán condenados cuantos en él confían.

The Lord redeems the soul of His servants, And none of those who take refuge in Him will be condemned.
