1 A sí dice Jehová a su ungido, a Ciro, al cual tomé yo por su mano derecha, para sujetar naciones delante de él y desatar lomos de reyes; para abrir delante de él las puertas, y las puertas no se cerrarán:

Thus says the Lord to Cyrus His anointed, Whom I have taken by the right hand, To subdue nations before him And to loose the loins of kings; To open doors before him so that gates will not be shut:

2 Y o iré delante de ti, y enderezaré los lugares torcidos; quebrantaré las puertas de bronce, y haré pedazos los cerrojos de hierro;

“I will go before you and make the rough places smooth; I will shatter the doors of bronze and cut through their iron bars.

3 y te daré los tesoros escondidos, y los secretos muy guardados, para que sepas que yo soy Jehová, el Dios de Israel, que te llamo por tu nombre.

“I will give you the treasures of darkness And hidden wealth of secret places, So that you may know that it is I, The Lord, the God of Israel, who calls you by your name.

4 P or amor de mi siervo Jacob, y de Israel mi escogido, te llamé por tu nombre; te puse sobrenombre, aunque no me conociste.

“For the sake of Jacob My servant, And Israel My chosen one, I have also called you by your name; I have given you a title of honor Though you have not known Me.

5 Y o soy Jehová, y ninguno más hay; no hay Dios fuera de mí. Yo te ceñí, aunque tú no me conociste,

“I am the Lord, and there is no other; Besides Me there is no God. I will gird you, though you have not known Me;

6 p ara que se sepa desde el nacimiento del sol, y hasta donde se pone, que no hay más que yo; yo soy Jehová, y ninguno más que yo,

That men may know from the rising to the setting of the sun That there is no one besides Me. I am the Lord, and there is no other,

7 q ue formo la luz y creo las tinieblas, que hago la paz y creo la adversidad. Yo soy Jehová, el que hago todo esto. Jehová el Creador

The One forming light and creating darkness, Causing well-being and creating calamity; I am the Lord who does all these. God’s Supreme Power

8 R ociad, cielos, de arriba, y las nubes destilen la justicia; ábrase la tierra, y prodúzcase la salvación y hágase brotar juntamente con la justicia. Yo, Jehová, lo he creado.

“ Drip down, O heavens, from above, And let the clouds pour down righteousness; Let the earth open up and salvation bear fruit, And righteousness spring up with it. I, the Lord, have created it.

9 ¡ Ay del que pleitea con su Hacedor, como el tiesto con los tiestos de la tierra! ¿Dirá el barro al que lo labra: Qué haces?; ¿o: Tu obra no está hecha con destreza?

“Woe to the one who quarrels with his Maker— An earthenware vessel among the vessels of earth! Will the clay say to the potter, ‘What are you doing?’ Or the thing you are making say, ‘He has no hands’?

10 ¡ Ay del que dice a su padre: ¿Por qué engendraste?; y a una mujer: ¿Por qué diste a luz?!

“Woe to him who says to a father, ‘What are you begetting?’ Or to a woman, ‘To what are you giving birth?’”

11 A sí dice Jehová, el Santo de Israel, y su Formador: Preguntadme de las cosas por venir; mandadme acerca de mis hijos, y acerca de la obra de mis manos.

Thus says the Lord, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker: “ Ask Me about the things to come concerning My sons, And you shall commit to Me the work of My hands.

12 Y o, sí, yo hice la tierra, y creé sobre ella al hombre. Yo, mis manos, extendieron los cielos, y mandé a todo su ejército.

“It is I who made the earth, and created man upon it. I stretched out the heavens with My hands And I ordained all their host.

13 Y o lo suscité en justicia, y enderezaré todos sus caminos; él edificará mi ciudad, y soltará mis deportados, no por precio ni por dones, dice Jehová de los ejércitos.

“I have aroused him in righteousness And I will make all his ways smooth; He will build My city and will let My exiles go free, Without any payment or reward,” says the Lord of hosts.

14 A sí dice Jehová: El trabajo de Egipto, las mercaderías de Etiopía, y de los sabeos, hombres de elevada estatura, se pasarán a ti y serán tuyos; irán en pos de ti, pasarán encadenados; te harán reverencia y te suplicarán diciendo: Ciertamente en ti está Dios, y no hay ningún otro; no hay otro Dios.

Thus says the Lord, “The products of Egypt and the merchandise of Cush And the Sabeans, men of stature, Will come over to you and will be yours; They will walk behind you, they will come over in chains And will bow down to you; They will make supplication to you: ‘ Surely, God is with you, and there is none else, No other God.’”

15 V erdaderamente tú eres un Dios que te encubres, oh Dios de Israel, que salvas.

Truly, You are a God who hides Himself, O God of Israel, Savior!

16 C onfusos y avergonzados serán todos ellos; serán cubiertos de oprobio todos juntos los fabricadores de imágenes.

They will be put to shame and even humiliated, all of them; The manufacturers of idols will go away together in humiliation.

17 I srael será salvo por Jehová con salvación eterna; no os avergonzaréis ni quedaréis afrentados, por todos los siglos.

Israel has been saved by the Lord With an everlasting salvation; You will not be put to shame or humiliated To all eternity.

18 P orque así dijo Jehová, que creó los cielos; él es Dios, el que formó la tierra, el que la hizo y la compuso; no la creó en vano; la creó para que fuese habitada: Yo soy Jehová, y no hay otro.

For thus says the Lord, who created the heavens (He is the God who formed the earth and made it, He established it and did not create it a waste place, but formed it to be inhabited), “I am the Lord, and there is none else.

19 N o hablé en secreto, en un lugar oscuro de la tierra; no dije a la descendencia de Jacob: En vano me buscáis. Yo soy Jehová que hablo justicia, que anuncio rectitud. Jehová y los ídolos de Babilonia

“ I have not spoken in secret, In some dark land; I did not say to the offspring of Jacob, ‘ Seek Me in a waste place’; I, the Lord, speak righteousness, Declaring things that are upright.

20 R euníos, y venid; juntaos todos los sobrevivientes de entre las naciones. No tienen conocimiento aquellos que erigen sus ídolos de madera, los que ruegan a un dios que no salva.

“ Gather yourselves and come; Draw near together, you fugitives of the nations; They have no knowledge, Who carry about their wooden idol And pray to a god who cannot save.

21 P roclamad, y hacedlos acercarse, y entren todos en consulta; ¿quién hizo oír esto desde el principio, y lo tiene dicho desde entonces, sino yo Jehová? Y no hay más Dios que yo; un Dios justo y Salvador; ningún otro hay fuera de mí.

“ Declare and set forth your case; Indeed, let them consult together. Who has announced this from of old? Who has long since declared it? Is it not I, the Lord ? And there is no other God besides Me, A righteous God and a Savior; There is none except Me.

22 M iradme a mí, y sed salvos, todos los confines de la tierra, porque yo soy Dios, y no hay más.

“ Turn to Me and be saved, all the ends of the earth; For I am God, and there is no other.

23 P or mí mismo hice juramento, de mi boca salió palabra en justicia, y no será revocada: Que a mí se doblará toda rodilla, y jurará toda lengua.

“ I have sworn by Myself, The word has gone forth from My mouth in righteousness And will not turn back, That to Me every knee will bow, every tongue will swear allegiance.

24 Y se dirá de mí: Ciertamente en Jehová está la victoria y la fuerza; a él vendrán avergonzados todos los que contra él se enardecen.

“They will say of Me, ‘Only in the Lord are righteousness and strength.’ Men will come to Him, And all who were angry at Him will be put to shame.

25 E n Jehová será justificada y se gloriará toda la descendencia de Israel.

“In the Lord all the offspring of Israel Will be justified and will glory.”
