1 C uando Jehová hizo volver la cautividad de Sión, Estábamos como los que sueñan.

When the Lord brought back the captive ones of Zion, We were like those who dream.

2 E ntonces nuestra boca se llenó de risa, Y nuestra lengua de alabanza; Entonces se decía entre las naciones: Grandes cosas ha hecho Jehová con éstos.

Then our mouth was filled with laughter And our tongue with joyful shouting; Then they said among the nations, “The Lord has done great things for them.”

3 G randes cosas ha hecho Jehová con nosotros; Estamos alegres.

The Lord has done great things for us; We are glad.

4 H az volver el resto de nuestra cautividad, oh Jehová, Como los torrentes del Négueb.

Restore our captivity, O Lord, As the streams in the South.

5 L os que sembraron con lágrimas, con regocijo segarán.

Those who sow in tears shall reap with joyful shouting.

6 I rá andando y llorando el que lleva la preciosa semilla; Mas volverá a venir con regocijo, trayendo sus gavillas.

He who goes to and fro weeping, carrying his bag of seed, Shall indeed come again with a shout of joy, bringing his sheaves with him.
