1 N ow the divisions of the descendants of Aaron were these: the sons of Aaron were Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.

2 B ut Nadab and Abihu died before their father and had no sons. So Eleazar and Ithamar served as priests.

А Надав и Авиуд умряха преди баща си и нямаха чада; за това, Елеазар и Итамар свещенодействуваха.

3 D avid, with Zadok of the sons of Eleazar and Ahimelech of the sons of Ithamar, divided them according to their offices for their ministry.

И Давид заедно със Садока от Елеазаровите потомци, ги разпредели според наредената за тях работа.

4 S ince more chief men were found from the descendants of Eleazar than the descendants of Ithamar, they divided them thus: there were sixteen heads of fathers’ households of the descendants of Eleazar and eight of the descendants of Ithamar, according to their fathers’ households.

А от Елеазаровите потомци се намериха повече началници отколкото от Итамаровите потомци, според бащините им домове, осем началника.

5 T hus they were divided by lot, the one as the other; for they were officers of the sanctuary and officers of God, both from the descendants of Eleazar and the descendants of Ithamar.

Разпределиха и едните и другите с жребий; защото имаше управители на светилището и управители на Божия дом, както от Елеазаровите потомци, така и от Итамаровите потомци.

6 S hemaiah, the son of Nethanel the scribe, from the Levites, recorded them in the presence of the king, the princes, Zadok the priest, Ahimelech the son of Abiathar, and the heads of the fathers’ households of the priests and of the Levites; one father’s household taken for Eleazar and one taken for Ithamar.

И секретарят Семаия, Натаналовият син, който бе от левитите, ги записа в присъствието на царя, на първенците, на свещеника Садока, на Ахимелеха, Авиатаровия син и на началниците на бащините домове на свещениците и на левитите, като се вземеше един бащин дом от Елеазара и един от Итамара.

7 N ow the first lot came out for Jehoiarib, the second for Jedaiah,

А първият жребий излезе за Иоиарива, вторият за Едаия,

8 t he third for Harim, the fourth for Seorim,

третият за Харима, четвъртият за Сеорима,

9 t he fifth for Malchijah, the sixth for Mijamin,

петият за Мелхия, шестият за Менамина,

10 t he seventh for Hakkoz, the eighth for Abijah,

седмият за Акоса, осмият за Авия,

11 t he ninth for Jeshua, the tenth for Shecaniah,

деветият за Иисуя, десетият за Сехания,

12 t he eleventh for Eliashib, the twelfth for Jakim,

единадесетият за Елиасива, дванадесетият за Якима,

13 t he thirteenth for Huppah, the fourteenth for Jeshebeab,

14 t he fifteenth for Bilgah, the sixteenth for Immer,

15 t he seventeenth for Hezir, the eighteenth for Happizzez,

16 t he nineteenth for Pethahiah, the twentieth for Jehezkel,

17 t he twenty-first for Jachin, the twenty-second for Gamul,

19 T hese were their offices for their ministry when they came in to the house of the Lord according to the ordinance given to them through Aaron their father, just as the Lord God of Israel had commanded him.

Тоя беше редът на служението им, според който да влизат в Господния дом, по наредбата дадена им чрез баща им Аарона, според както му бе заповядал Господ Израилевият Бог.

20 N ow for the rest of the sons of Levi: of the sons of Amram, Shubael; of the sons of Shubael, Jehdeiah.

А останалите левийци бяха: от Амрамовите потомци, Суваил; от Суваиловите синове, Ядаия;

21 O f Rehabiah: of the sons of Rehabiah, Isshiah the first.

от Равия, от Равиевите синове, Есия първият;

22 O f the Izharites, Shelomoth; of the sons of Shelomoth, Jahath.

от исаарците, Селомот; от Селомотовите синове, Яат;

23 T he sons of Hebron: Jeriah the first, Amariah the second, Jahaziel the third, Jekameam the fourth.

а Хевронови синове Ерия, първият; Амария, вторият; Яазиил, третият; Екамеам, четвъртият;

24 O f the sons of Uzziel, Micah; of the sons of Micah, Shamir.

25 T he brother of Micah, Isshiah; of the sons of Isshiah, Zechariah.

Михеев брат бе Есия; от Есиевите синове, Захария;

26 T he sons of Merari, Mahli and Mushi; the sons of Jaaziah, Beno.

Мерариеви синове бяха: Мааяий и Мусий; Яазиевият син, Вено;

27 T he sons of Merari: by Jaaziah were Beno, Shoham, Zaccur and Ibri.

Мерариеви потомци чрез Яазия: Вено, Соам, Закхур и Иврий.

28 B y Mahli: Eleazar, who had no sons.

от Маалия бе Елеазар, който нямаше синове;

29 B y Kish: the sons of Kish, Jerahmeel.

30 T he sons of Mushi: Mahli, Eder and Jerimoth. These were the sons of the Levites according to their fathers’ households.

И Мусиеви синове: Маалий, Едер и Еримот. Тия бяха левиевите потомци според бащините им домове.

31 T hese also cast lots just as their relatives the sons of Aaron in the presence of David the king, Zadok, Ahimelech, and the heads of the fathers’ households of the priests and of the Levites—the head of fathers’ households as well as those of his younger brother.

Както братята им, Аароновите потомци, така и те хвърлиха жребия в присъствието на цар Давида, на Садока, на Ахимелеха и на началниците на бащините домове, така и за по-малките си братя.
