Und nachdem er Methusalah gezeugt hatte, blieb er in einem göttlichen Leben dreihundert Jahre und zeugte Söhne und Töchter;

23 S o all the days of Enoch were 365 years.

daß sein ganzes Alter ward dreihundertfünfundsechzig Jahre.

24 A nd Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him.

Und dieweil er ein göttliches Leben führte, nahm ihn Gott hinweg, und er ward nicht mehr gesehen.

25 W hen Methuselah was 187 years old, Lamech was born to him.

Methusalah war hundertsiebenundachtzig Jahre alt und zeugte Lamech

26 M ethuselah lived after the birth of Lamech 782 years and had other sons and daughters.

und lebte darnach siebenhundert und zweiundachtzig Jahre und zeugte Söhne und Töchter;

27 S o Methuselah lived 969 years, and he died.

daß sein ganzes Alter ward neunhundert und neunundsechzig Jahre, und starb.

28 W hen Lamech was 182 years old, a son was born.

Lamech war hundertzweiundachtzig Jahre alt und zeugte einen Sohn

29 H e named him Noah, saying, This one shall bring us relief and comfort from our work and the toil of our hands due to the ground being cursed by the Lord.

und hieß ihn Noah und sprach: Der wird uns trösten in unsrer Mühe und Arbeit auf der Erde, die der HERR verflucht hat.

30 L amech lived after the birth of Noah 595 years and had other sons and daughters.

Darnach lebte er fünfhundert und fünfundneunzig Jahre und zeugte Söhne und Töchter;

31 S o all the days of Lamech were 777 years, and he died.

daß sein ganzes Alter ward siebenhundert siebenundsiebzig Jahre, und starb.

32 A fter Noah was 500 years old, he became the father of Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

Noah war fünfhundert Jahre alt und zeugte Sem, Ham und Japheth.
