The sons of Levi were Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.

2 L os hijos de Coath: Amram, Ishar, Hebrón y Uzziel.

The sons of Kohath were Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel.

3 L os hijos de Amram: Aarón, Moisés, y Mariam. Los hijos de Aarón: Nadab, Abiú, Eleazar, é Ithamar.

The children of Amram were Aaron, Moses, and Miriam. And the sons of Aaron were Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.

4 E leazar engendró á Phinees, y Phinees engendró á Abisua:

Eleazar begot Phinehas, and Phinehas begot Abishua;

5 Y Abisua engendró á Bucci, y Bucci engendró á Uzzi;

Abishua begot Bukki, and Bukki begot Uzzi;

6 Y Uzzi engendró á Zeraías, y Zeraías engendró á Meraioth;

Uzzi begot Zerahiah, and Zerahiah begot Meraioth;

7 Y Meraioth engendró á Amarías, y Amarías engendró á Achîtob;

Meraioth begot Amariah, and Amariah begot Ahitub;

8 Y Achîtob engendró á Sadoc, y Sadoc engendró á Achîmaas;

Ahitub begot Zadok, and Zadok begot Ahimaaz;

9 Y Achîmaas engendró á Azarías, y Azarías engendró á Johanán;

Ahimaaz begot Azariah, and Azariah begot Johanan;

10 Y Johanan engendró á Azarías, el que tuvo el sacerdocio en la casa que Salomón edificó en Jerusalem;

Johanan begot Azariah (it was he who ministered as priest in the temple that Solomon built in Jerusalem);

11 Y Azarías engendró á Amarías, y Amarías engendró á Achîtob;

Azariah begot Amariah, and Amariah begot Ahitub;

12 Y Achîtob engendró á Sadoc, y Sadoc engendró á Sallum;

Ahitub begot Zadok, and Zadok begot Shallum;

13 Y Sallum engendró á Hilcías, é Hilcías engendró á Azarías;

Shallum begot Hilkiah, and Hilkiah begot Azariah;

14 Y Azarías engendró á Seraíah, y Seraíah, engendró á Josadec.

Azariah begot Seraiah, and Seraiah begot Jehozadak.

15 Y Josadec fué cautivo cuando Jehová trasportó á Judá y á Jerusalem, por mano de Nabucodonosor.

Jehozadak went into captivity when the Lord carried Judah and Jerusalem into captivity by the hand of Nebuchadnezzar.

16 L os hijos de Leví: Gersón, Coath, y Merari.

The sons of Levi were Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.

17 Y estos son los nombres de los hijos de Gersón: Libni, y Simi.

These are the names of the sons of Gershon: Libni and Shimei.

18 L os hijos de Coath: Amram, Ishar, Hebrón, y Uzziel.

The sons of Kohath were Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel.

19 L os hijos de Merari: Mahali, y Musi. Estas son las familias de Leví, según sus descendencias.

The sons of Merari were Mahli and Mushi. Now these are the families of the Levites according to their fathers:

20 G ersón: Libni su hijo, Joath su hijo, Zimma su hijo.

Of Gershon were Libni his son, Jahath his son, Zimmah his son,

21 J oab su hijo, Iddo su hijo, Zera su hijo, Jeothrai su hijo.

Joah his son, Iddo his son, Zerah his son, and Jeatherai his son.

22 L os hijos de Coath: Aminadab su hijo, Coré su hijo, Asir su hijo,

The sons of Kohath were Amminadab his son, Korah his son, Assir his son,

23 E lcana su hijo, Abiasaph su hijo, Asir su hijo,

Elkanah his son, Ebiasaph his son, Assir his son,

24 T hahath su hijo, Uriel su hijo, Uzzia su hijo, y Saúl su hijo.

Tahath his son, Uriel his son, Uzziah his son, and Shaul his son.

25 L os hijos de Elcana: Amasai, Achîmoth, y Elcana.

The sons of Elkanah were Amasai and Ahimoth.

26 L os hijos de Elcana: Sophai su hijo, Nahath su hijo,

As for Elkanah, the sons of Elkanah were Zophai his son, Nahath his son,

27 E liab su hijo, Jeroham su hijo, Elcana su hijo.

Eliab his son, Jeroham his son, and Elkanah his son.

28 L os hijos de Samuel: el primogénito Vasni, y Abías.

The sons of Samuel were Joel the firstborn, and Abijah the second.

29 L os hijos de Merari: Mahali, Libni su hijo, Simi su hijo, Uzza su hijo,

The sons of Merari were Mahli, Libni his son, Shimei his son, Uzzah his son,

30 S ima su hijo, Haggía su hijo, Assía su hijo.

Shimea his son, Haggiah his son, and Asaiah his son. Musicians in the House of the Lord

31 E stos son á los que David dió cargo de las cosas de la música de la casa de Jehová, después que el arca tuvo reposo:

Now these are the men whom David appointed over the service of song in the house of the Lord, after the ark came to rest.

32 L os cuales servían delante de la tienda del tabernáculo del testimonio en cantares, hasta que Salomón edificó la casa de Jehová en Jerusalem: después estuvieron en su ministerio según su costumbre.

They were ministering with music before the dwelling place of the tabernacle of meeting, until Solomon had built the house of the Lord in Jerusalem, and they served in their office according to their order.

33 E stos pues con sus hijos asistían: de los hijos de Coath, Hemán cantor, hijo de Joel, hijo de Samuel;

And these are the ones who ministered with their sons: Of the sons of the Kohathites were Heman the singer, the son of Joel, the son of Samuel,

34 H ijo de Elcana, hijo de Jeroham, hijo de Eliel, hijo de Thoa;

the son of Elkanah, the son of Jeroham, the son of Eliel, the son of Toah,

35 H ijo de Suph, hijo de Elcana, hijo Mahath, hijo de Amasai;

the son of Zuph, the son of Elkanah, the son of Mahath, the son of Amasai,

36 H ijo de Elcana, hijo de Joel, hijo de Azarías, hijo de Sophonías;

the son of Elkanah, the son of Joel, the son of Azariah, the son of Zephaniah,

44 M as los hijos de Merari sus hermanos estaban á la mano siniestra, es á saber, Ethán hijo de Chîsi, hijo de Abdi, hijo de Maluch;

Their brethren, the sons of Merari, on the left hand, were Ethan the son of Kishi, the son of Abdi, the son of Malluch,

45 H ijo de Hasabías, hijo de Amasías, hijo de Hilcías;

the son of Hashabiah, the son of Amaziah, the son of Hilkiah,

46 H ijo de Amasai, hijo de Bani, hijo de Semer;

the son of Amzi, the son of Bani, the son of Shamer,

47 H ijo de Mahali, hijo de Musi, hijo de Merari, hijo de Leví.

the son of Mahli, the son of Mushi, the son of Merari, the son of Levi.

48 Y sus hermanos los Levitas fueron puestos sobre todo el ministerio del tabernáculo de la casa de Dios.

And their brethren, the Levites, were appointed to every kind of service of the tabernacle of the house of God. The Family of Aaron

49 M as Aarón y sus hijos ofrecían perfume sobre el altar del holocausto, y sobre el altar del perfume, en toda la obra del lugar santísimo, y para hacer las expiaciones sobre Israel, conforme á todo lo que Moisés siervo de Dios había mandado.

But Aaron and his sons offered sacrifices on the altar of burnt offering and on the altar of incense, for all the work of the Most Holy Place, and to make atonement for Israel, according to all that Moses the servant of God had commanded.

50 Y los hijos de Aarón son estos: Eleazar su hijo, Phinees su hijo, Abisua su hijo;

Now these are the sons of Aaron: Eleazar his son, Phinehas his son, Abishua his son,

51 B ucci su hijo, Uzzi su hijo, Zeraías su hijo;

Bukki his son, Uzzi his son, Zerahiah his son,

52 M eraioth su hijo, Amarías su hijo, Achîtob su hijo;

Meraioth his son, Amariah his son, Ahitub his son,

53 S adoc su hijo, Achîmaas su hijo.

Zadok his son, and Ahimaaz his son. Dwelling Places of the Levites

54 Y estas son sus habitaciones, conforme á sus domicilios y sus términos, las de los hijos de Aarón por las familias de los Coathitas, porque de ellos fué la suerte:

Now these are their dwelling places throughout their settlements in their territory, for they were given by lot to the sons of Aaron, of the family of the Kohathites:

55 L es dieron pues á Hebrón en tierra de Judá, y sus ejidos alrededor de ella.

They gave them Hebron in the land of Judah, with its surrounding common-lands.

56 M as el territorio de la ciudad y sus aldeas se dieron á Caleb, hijo de Jephone.

But the fields of the city and its villages they gave to Caleb the son of Jephunneh.

57 Y á los hijos de Aarón dieron las ciudades de Judá de acogimiento, es á saber, á Hebrón, y á Libna con sus ejidos;

And to the sons of Aaron they gave one of the cities of refuge, Hebron; also Libnah with its common-lands, Jattir, Eshtemoa with its common-lands,

58 A Jathir, y Esthemoa con sus ejidos, y á Hilem con sus ejidos, y á Debir con sus ejidos:

Hilen with its common-lands, Debir with its common-lands,

59 A Asán con sus ejidos, y á Beth-semes con sus ejidos:

Ashan with its common-lands, and Beth Shemesh with its common-lands.

60 Y de la tribu de Benjamín, á Geba, con sus ejidos, y á Alemeth con sus ejidos, y á Anathoth con sus ejidos. Todas sus ciudades fueron trece ciudades, repartidas por sus linajes.

And from the tribe of Benjamin: Geba with its common-lands, Alemeth with its common-lands, and Anathoth with its common-lands. All their cities among their families were thirteen.

61 A los hijos de Coath, que quedaron de su parentela, dieron diez ciudades de la media tribu de Manasés por suerte.

To the rest of the family of the tribe of the Kohathites they gave by lot ten cities from half the tribe of Manasseh.

62 Y á los hijos de Gersón, por sus linajes, dieron de la tribu de Aser, y de la tribu de Nephtalí, y de la tribu de Manasés en Basán, trece ciudades.

And to the sons of Gershon, throughout their families, they gave thirteen cities from the tribe of Issachar, from the tribe of Asher, from the tribe of Naphtali, and from the tribe of Manasseh in Bashan.

63 Y á los hijos de Merari, por sus linajes, de la tribu de Rubén, y de la tribu de Gad, y de la tribu de Zabulón, se dieron por suerte doce ciudades.

To the sons of Merari, throughout their families, they gave twelve cities from the tribe of Reuben, from the tribe of Gad, and from the tribe of Zebulun.

64 Y dieron los hijos de Israel á los Levitas ciudades con sus ejidos.

So the children of Israel gave these cities with their common-lands to the Levites.

65 Y dieron por suerte de la tribu de los hijos de Judá, y de la tribu de los hijos de Simeón, y de la tribu de los hijos de Benjamín, las ciudades que nombraron por sus nombres.

And they gave by lot from the tribe of the children of Judah, from the tribe of the children of Simeon, and from the tribe of the children of Benjamin these cities which are called by their names.

66 Y á los linajes de los hijos de Coath dieron ciudades con sus términos de la tribu de Ephraim.

Now some of the families of the sons of Kohath were given cities as their territory from the tribe of Ephraim.

67 Y diéronles las ciudades de acogimiento, á Sichêm con sus ejidos en el monte de Ephraim, y á Gezer con sus ejidos,

And they gave them one of the cities of refuge, Shechem with its common-lands, in the mountains of Ephraim, also Gezer with its common-lands,

68 Y á Jocmeam con sus ejidos, y á Beth-oron con sus ejidos,

Jokmeam with its common-lands, Beth Horon with its common-lands,

69 Y á Ajalón con sus ejidos, y á Gath-rimmón con sus ejidos.

Aijalon with its common-lands, and Gath Rimmon with its common-lands.

70 D e la media tribu de Manasés, á Aner con sus ejidos, y á Bilam con sus ejidos, para los del linaje de los hijos de Coath que habían quedado.

And from the half-tribe of Manasseh: Aner with its common-lands and Bileam with its common-lands, for the rest of the family of the sons of Kohath.

71 Y á los hijos de Gersón dieron de la familia de la media tribu de Manasés, á Golan en Basán con sus ejidos y á Astaroth con sus ejidos;

From the family of the half-tribe of Manasseh the sons of Gershon were given Golan in Bashan with its common-lands and Ashtaroth with its common-lands.

72 Y de la tribu de Issachâr, á Cedes con sus ejidos, á Dobrath con sus ejidos,

And from the tribe of Issachar: Kedesh with its common-lands, Daberath with its common-lands,

73 Y á Ramoth con sus ejidos, y á Anem con sus ejidos;

Ramoth with its common-lands, and Anem with its common-lands.

74 Y de la tribu de Aser á Masal con sus ejidos, y á Abdón con sus ejidos,

And from the tribe of Asher: Mashal with its common-lands, Abdon with its common-lands,

75 Y á Ucoc con sus ejidos, y á Rehob con sus ejidos.

Hukok with its common-lands, and Rehob with its common-lands.

76 Y de la tribu de Nephtalí, á Cedes en Galilea con sus ejidos, y á Ammón con sus ejidos, á Chîriath-jearim con sus ejidos.

And from the tribe of Naphtali: Kedesh in Galilee with its common-lands, Hammon with its common-lands, and Kirjathaim with its common-lands.

77 Y á los hijos de Merari que habían quedado, dieron de la tribu de Zabulón á Rimmono con sus ejidos, y á Thabor con sus ejidos;

From the tribe of Zebulun the rest of the children of Merari were given Rimmon with its common-lands and Tabor with its common-lands.

78 Y de la otra parte del Jordán de Jericó, al oriente del Jordán, dieron, de la tribu de Rubén, á Beser en el desierto con sus ejidos; y á Jasa con sus ejidos.

And on the other side of the Jordan, across from Jericho, on the east side of the Jordan, they were given from the tribe of Reuben: Bezer in the wilderness with its common-lands, Jahzah with its common-lands,

79 Y á Chêdemoth con sus ejidos, y á Mephaath con sus ejidos;

Kedemoth with its common-lands, and Mephaath with its common-lands.

80 Y de la tribu de Gad, á Ramot en Galaad con sus ejidos, y á Mahanaim con sus ejidos,

And from the tribe of Gad: Ramoth in Gilead with its common-lands, Mahanaim with its common-lands,

81 Y á Hesbón con sus ejidos, y á Jacer con sus ejidos.

Heshbon with its common-lands, and Jazer with its common-lands.
