9 P or cierto, vanidad son los hijos de los hombres, mentira los hijos de varón: Pesándolos á todos igualmente en la balanza, Serán menos que la vanidad.

Surely men of low degree are a vapor, Men of high degree are a lie; If they are weighed on the scales, They are altogether lighter than vapor.

10 N o confiéis en la violencia, Ni en la rapiña; no os envanezcáis: Si se aumentare la hacienda, no pongáis el corazón en ella.

11 U na vez habló Dios; Dos veces he oído esto: Que de Dios es la fortaleza.

12 Y de ti, oh Señor, es la misericordia: Porque tú pagas á cada uno conforme á su obra.

Also to You, O Lord, belongs mercy; For You render to each one according to his work.
