1 T he fool has said in his heart, “ There is no God.” They are corrupt, and have done abominable iniquity; There is none who does good.

2 G od looks down from heaven upon the children of men, To see if there are any who understand, who seek God.

3 E very one of them has turned aside; They have together become corrupt; There is none who does good, No, not one.

Cada uno se había vuelto atrás; todos se habían corrompido; no hay quien haga el bien, no hay ni aun uno.

4 H ave the workers of iniquity no knowledge, Who eat up my people as they eat bread, And do not call upon God?

¿No tienen conocimiento todos los que hacen lo malo, que devoran a mi pueblo como si comieran pan y a Dios no invocan?

5 T here they are in great fear Where no fear was, For God has scattered the bones of him who encamps against you; You have put them to shame, Because God has despised them.

Allí se sobresaltaron de pavor donde no había miedo, porque Dios esparció los huesos del que puso asedio contra ti. Los avergonzaste porque Dios los desechó.

6 O h, that the salvation of Israel would come out of Zion! When God brings back the captivity of His people, Let Jacob rejoice and Israel be glad.

¡Ah, si saliera de Sión la salvación de Israel! Cuando Dios haga volver de la cautividad a su pueblo, se gozará Jacob, se alegrará Israel.
