4 F or everything created by God is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with gratitude;

Porque todo lo que Dios creó es bueno, y nada es de desecharse, si se toma con acción de gracias;

porque el ejercicio corporal para poco es provechoso, pero la piedad para todo aprovecha, pues tiene promesa de esta vida presente, y de la venidera.

9 I t is a trustworthy statement deserving full acceptance.

Palabra fiel es ésta, y digna de total aceptación.

10 F or it is for this we labor and strive, because we have fixed our hope on the living God, who is the Savior of all men, especially of believers.

Pues por esto mismo trabajamos y sufrimos oprobios, porque hemos puesto nuestra esperanza en el Dios viviente, que es el Salvador de todos los hombres, especialmente de los que creen.

16 P ay close attention to yourself and to your teaching; persevere in these things, for as you do this you will ensure salvation both for yourself and for those who hear you.

Ten cuidado de ti mismo y de la enseñanza; persiste en ello, pues haciendo esto, te salvarás a ti mismo y a los que te escuchen.
