1 A wake, awake, Clothe yourself in your strength, O Zion; Clothe yourself in your beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city; For the uncircumcised and the unclean Will no longer come into you.

Desperte! Desperte, ó Sião! Vista-se de força. Vista suas roupas de esplendor, ó Jerusalém, cidade santa. Os incircuncisos e os impuros não tornarão a entrar por suas portas.

2 S hake yourself from the dust, rise up, O captive Jerusalem; Loose yourself from the chains around your neck, O captive daughter of Zion.

Sacuda para longe a sua poeira; levante-se, sente-se entronizada, ó Jerusalém. Livre-se das correntes em seu pescoço, ó cativa cidade de Sião.

3 F or thus says the Lord, “You were sold for nothing and you will be redeemed without money.”

Pois assim diz o Senhor: “Vocês foram vendidos por nada, e sem dinheiro vocês serão resgatados”.

4 F or thus says the Lord God, “My people went down at the first into Egypt to reside there; then the Assyrian oppressed them without cause.

Pois assim diz o Soberano, o Senhor: “No início o meu povo desceu para morar no Egito; ultimamente a Assíria o tem oprimido.

5 N ow therefore, what do I have here,” declares the Lord, “seeing that My people have been taken away without cause?” Again the Lord declares, “Those who rule over them howl, and My name is continually blasphemed all day long.

“E agora o que tenho aqui?”, pergunta o Senhor. “Pois o meu povo foi levado por nada, e aqueles que o dominam zombam ”, diz o Senhor. “E constantemente, o dia inteiro, meu nome é blasfemado.

6 T herefore My people shall know My name; therefore in that day I am the one who is speaking, ‘Here I am.’”

Por isso o meu povo conhecerá o meu nome; naquele dia eles saberão que sou eu que o previ. Sim, sou eu”.

7 H ow lovely on the mountains Are the feet of him who brings good news, Who announces peace And brings good news of happiness, Who announces salvation, And says to Zion, “Your God reigns!”

Como são belos nos montes os pés daqueles que anunciam boas novas, que proclamam a paz, que trazem boas notícias, que proclamam salvação, que dizem a Sião: “O seu Deus reina!”

8 L isten! Your watchmen lift up their voices, They shout joyfully together; For they will see with their own eyes When the Lord restores Zion.

Escutem! Suas sentinelas erguem a voz; juntas gritam de alegria. Quando o Senhor voltar a Sião, elas o verão com os seus próprios olhos.

9 B reak forth, shout joyfully together, You waste places of Jerusalem; For the Lord has comforted His people, He has redeemed Jerusalem.

Juntas cantem de alegria, vocês, ruínas de Jerusalém, pois o Senhor consolou o seu povo; ele resgatou Jerusalém.

10 T he Lord has bared His holy arm In the sight of all the nations, That all the ends of the earth may see The salvation of our God.

O Senhor desnudará seu santo braço à vista de todas as nações, e todos os confins da terra verão a salvação de nosso Deus.

11 D epart, depart, go out from there, Touch nothing unclean; Go out of the midst of her, purify yourselves, You who carry the vessels of the Lord.

Afastem-se, afastem-se, saiam daqui! Não toquem em coisas impuras! Saiam dela e sejam puros, vocês, que transportam os utensílios do Senhor.

12 B ut you will not go out in haste, Nor will you go as fugitives; For the Lord will go before you, And the God of Israel will be your rear guard. The Exalted Servant

Mas vocês não partirão apressadamente, nem sairão em fuga; pois o Senhor irá à frente de vocês; o Deus de Israel será a sua retaguarda. O Sofrimento e a Glória do Servo do Senhor

13 B ehold, My servant will prosper, He will be high and lifted up and greatly exalted.

Vejam, o meu servo agirá com sabedoria; será engrandecido, elevado e muitíssimo exaltado.

14 J ust as many were astonished at you, My people, So His appearance was marred more than any man And His form more than the sons of men.

Assim como houve muitos que ficaram pasmados diante dele; sua aparência estava tão desfigurada, que ele se tornou irreconhecível como homem; não parecia um ser humano;

15 T hus He will sprinkle many nations, Kings will shut their mouths on account of Him; For what had not been told them they will see, And what they had not heard they will understand.

de igual modo ele aspergirá muitas nações, e reis calarão a boca por causa dele. Pois aquilo que não lhes foi dito verão, e o que não ouviram compreenderão.
