1 И в един от дните, когато Той поучаваше людете в храма и проповядваше благовестието, надойдоха главните свещеници и книжниците със старейшините и Му рекоха:

On one of those days, as he was teaching the people in the temple and preaching the Good News, the priests and scribes came to him with the elders.

2 К ажи ни с каква власт правиш това? или, кой е онзи, който Ти е дал тази власт?

They asked him, “Tell us: by what authority do you do these things? Or who is giving you this authority?”

3 И в отговор им рече: Ще ви задам и Аз един въпрос, и отговорете Ми:

He answered them, “I also will ask you one question. Tell me:

4 И оановото кръщение от небето ли беше, или от човеците?

the baptism of John, was it from heaven, or from men?”

5 А те разискваха помежду си, думайки: Ако речем: От небето, ще каже: Защо го не повярвахте?

They reasoned with themselves, saying, “If we say, ‘From heaven,’ he will say, ‘Why didn’t you believe him?’

6 Н о ако речем: От човеците, всичките люде ще ни убият с камъни, защото са убедени, че Иоан беше пророк.

But if we say, ‘From men,’ all the people will stone us, for they are persuaded that John was a prophet.”

7 И отговориха, че не знаят от къде <беше>.

They answered that they didn’t know where it was from.

8 Т огава Исус им рече: Нито Аз ви казвам с каква власт правя това.

Jesus said to them, “Neither will I tell you by what authority I do these things.”

9 И почна да говори на людете тази притча: Един човек насади лозе, даде го под наем на земеделци, и отиде в чужбина за дълго време.

He began to tell the people this parable. “A man planted a vineyard, and rented it out to some farmers, and went into another country for a long time.

10 И във време <на беритбата> прати един слуга при земеделците за да му дадат от плода на лозето; но земеделците го биха и отпратиха го празен.

At the proper season, he sent a servant to the farmers to collect his share of the fruit of the vineyard. But the farmers beat him, and sent him away empty.

11 И изпрати друг слуга; а те и него биха, срамно го оскърбиха, и го отпратиха празен.

He sent yet another servant, and they also beat him, and treated him shamefully, and sent him away empty.

12 И зпрати и трети; но те и него нараниха и изхвърлиха.

He sent yet a third, and they also wounded him, and threw him out.

13 Т огава стопанинът на лозето рече: Що да сторя? Ще изпратя любезния си син; може него да почетат.

The lord of the vineyard said, ‘What shall I do? I will send my beloved son. It may be that seeing him, they will respect him.’

14 Н о земеделците, като го видяха, разискаха помежду си, като думаха: Това е наследникът; нека го убием, за да стане наследството наше.

“But when the farmers saw him, they reasoned among themselves, saying, ‘This is the heir. Come, let’s kill him, that the inheritance may be ours.’

15 И зхвърлиха го вън от лозето и го убиха. И тъй, какво ще им стори стопанинът на лозето?

They threw him out of the vineyard, and killed him. What therefore will the lord of the vineyard do to them?

16 Щ е дойде и ще погуби тия земеделци, и ще даде лозето на други. А като чуха това рекоха: Дано не бъде!

He will come and destroy these farmers, and will give the vineyard to others.” When they heard it, they said, “May it never be!”

17 А той ги погледна и рече: Тогава що значи това, което е писано: "Камъкът, който отхвърлиха зидарите, Той стана глава на ъгъла"?

But he looked at them, and said, “Then what is this that is written, ‘The stone which the builders rejected, the same was made the chief cornerstone?’

18 В секи, който падне върху този камък, ще се смаже, а върху когото падне, ще го пръсне.

Everyone who falls on that stone will be broken to pieces, but it will crush whomever it falls on to dust.”

19 И в същия час книжниците и главните свещеници се стараеха да турят ръце на Него, защото разбраха, че Той каза тая притча против тях, но се бояха от народа.

The chief priests and the scribes sought to lay hands on him that very hour, but they feared the people—for they knew he had spoken this parable against them.

20 И като Го наблюдаваха, пратиха издебници, които се преструваха, че са праведни, за да уловят някоя Негова дума, тъй щото да Го предадат на началството и на властта на управителя.

They watched him, and sent out spies, who pretended to be righteous, that they might trap him in something he said, so as to deliver him up to the power and authority of the governor.

21 И те Го попитаха, казвайки: Учителю, знаем, че право говориш и учиш, и у Тебе няма лицеприятие, но учиш Божия път според истината;

They asked him, “Teacher, we know that you say and teach what is right, and aren’t partial to anyone, but truly teach the way of God.

22 п раво ли е за нас да даваме данък на Кесаря, или не?

Is it lawful for us to pay taxes to Caesar, or not?”

23 А Той разбра лукавството им, и рече им:

But he perceived their craftiness, and said to them, “Why do you test me?

24 П окажете ми един динарий. Чий образ и надпис има? И казаха: Кесарев.

Show me a denarius. Whose image and inscription are on it?” They answered, “Caesar’s.”

25 А Той рече: Тогава отдавайте Кесаревото на Кесаря, а Божието на Бога.

He said to them, “Then give to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.”

26 И не можаха да уловят <нещо> в думата пред народа; и, зачудени на отговора Му, млъкнаха.

They weren’t able to trap him in his words before the people. They marveled at his answer, and were silent.

27 Т огава се приближиха някои от садукеите, които твърдят, че няма възкресение, и Го попитаха, казвайки:

Some of the Sadducees came to him, those who deny that there is a resurrection.

28 У чителю, Моисей ни е писал: "Ако умре на някого брат му, който е женен, но е бездетен, брат му да вземе жената и да въздигне потомък на брата си".

They asked him, “Teacher, Moses wrote to us that if a man’s brother dies having a wife, and he is childless, his brother should take the wife, and raise up children for his brother.

29 А имаше седмина братя; и първият взе жена и умря бездетен.

There were therefore seven brothers. The first took a wife, and died childless.

30 И вторият и третият я взеха;

The second took her as wife, and he died childless.

31 т ака също и седмината я взеха и умряха без да оставят деца.

The third took her, and likewise the seven all left no children, and died.

32 А после умря и жената.

Afterward the woman also died.

33 И тъй, във възкресението, на кого от тях ще бъде жена? защото и седмината я имаха за жена.

Therefore in the resurrection whose wife of them will she be? For the seven had her as a wife.”

34 А Исус им рече: Човеците на този свят се женят и се омъжват;

Jesus said to them, “The children of this age marry, and are given in marriage.

35 а ония, които се удостоят да достигнат онзи свят и възкресението от мъртвите, нито се женят нито се омъжват.

But those who are considered worthy to attain to that age and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage.

36 И не могат вече да умрат, понеже са равни на ангелите; и, като участници на възкресението, са чада на Бога.

For they can’t die any more, for they are like the angels, and are children of God, being children of the resurrection.

37 А че мъртвите биват възкресени, това и Моисей показа <в мястото дето писа> за къпината, когато нарече Господа "Бог Авраамов, Бог Исааков и Бог Яковов".

But that the dead are raised, even Moses showed at the bush, when he called the Lord ‘The God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.’

38 Н о Той не е Бог на мъртвите, а на живите; защото за Него всички са живи.

Now he is not the God of the dead, but of the living, for all are alive to him.”

39 А някои от книжниците в отговор рекоха: Учителю, Ти добре каза.

Some of the scribes answered, “Teacher, you speak well.”

40 З ащото не смееха вече за нищо да Го попитат.

They didn’t dare to ask him any more questions.

41 И рече им: Как казват, че Христос е Давидов син?

He said to them, “Why do they say that the Christ is David’s son?

42 З ащото сам Давид казва в книгата на псалмите: - Рече Господ на моя Господ: Седи отдясно Ми.

David himself says in the book of Psalms, ‘The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at my right hand,

43 Д окле положа враговете Ти за Твое подножие.

until I make your enemies the footstool of your feet.”’

44 И тъй, Давид Го нарича Господ; тогава как е негов син?

“David therefore calls him Lord, so how is he his son?”

45 И когато слушаха всичките люде, Той рече на учениците Си:

In the hearing of all the people, he said to his disciples,

46 П азете се от книжниците, които обичат да ходят пременени, и обичат поздрави по пазарите, първите столове в синагогите, и първите места по угощенията;

“Beware of the scribes, who like to walk in long robes, and love greetings in the marketplaces, the best seats in the synagogues, and the best places at feasts;

47 к оито изпояждат домовете на вдовиците, и за показ принасят дълги молитви. Те ще получат по-голямо осъждане.

who devour widows’ houses, and for a pretense make long prayers: these will receive greater condemnation.”
