1 A nd thou, son of man, prophesy against Gog, and say, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal;

»Tú pues, hijo de hombre, profetiza contra Gog, y di: “Así ha dicho Jehová, el Señor: He aquí yo estoy contra ti, Gog, príncipe soberano de Mesec y Tubal.

2 a nd I will turn thee back, and lead thee, and will cause thee to come up from the uttermost north, and will bring thee upon the mountains of Israel.

Te quebrantaré, te conduciré, te haré subir desde las partes del norte y te traeré sobre los montes de Israel.

3 A nd I will smite thy bow out of thy left hand, and will cause thine arrows to fall out of thy right hand.

Te quitaré el arco de tu mano izquierda y haré caer tus flechas de tu mano derecha.

4 T hou shalt fall upon the mountains of Israel, thou, and all thy bands, and the peoples that are with thee: I have given thee to be meat for the birds of prey of every wing, and to the beasts of the field.

Sobre los montes de Israel caerás tú junto con todas tus tropas y los pueblos que fueron contigo. A las aves de rapiña de toda especie, y a las fieras del campo, te he dado por comida.

5 T hou shalt fall on the open field; for I have spoken, saith the Lord Jehovah.

Sobre la faz del campo caerás, porque yo lo he dicho, dice Jehová, el Señor.

6 A nd I will send a fire on Magog, and among them that dwell at ease in the isles: and they shall know that I Jehovah.

Y enviaré fuego sobre Magog y sobre los que habitan seguros en las costas. Y sabrán que yo soy Jehová.

7 A nd my holy name will I make known in the midst of my people Israel; and I will not suffer my holy name to be profaned any more: and the nations shall know that I Jehovah, the Holy One in Israel.

»”Haré notorio mi santo nombre en medio de mi pueblo Israel y nunca más dejaré profanar mi santo nombre; y sabrán las naciones que yo soy Jehová, el Santo en Israel.

8 B ehold, it cometh, and shall be done, saith the Lord Jehovah. This is the day whereof I have spoken.

He aquí que viene, y se cumplirá, dice Jehová, el Señor: ése es el día del cual he hablado.

9 A nd they that dwell in the cities of Israel shall go forth, and shall kindle fire, and burn weapons, and shields, and targets, bows, and arrows, and hand-staves, and spears: and they shall make fires with them seven years.

»”Los habitantes de las ciudades de Israel saldrán y encenderán fuego para quemar armas, escudos, paveses, arcos y saetas, dardos de mano y lanzas. Harán fuego con ellos durante siete años.

10 A nd no wood shall be taken out of the field, neither cut down out of the forests; for they shall make fire with the weapons; and they shall spoil those that spoiled them, and plunder those that plundered them, saith the Lord Jehovah.

No traerán leña del campo ni la cortarán de los bosques, sino que quemarán las armas en el fuego. Despojarán a sus despojadores y robarán a los que les robaron, dice Jehová el Señor.

11 A nd it shall come to pass in that day, I will give unto Gog a place there for burial in Israel, the valley of the passers-by to the east of the sea; and it shall stop of the passers-by; and there shall they bury Gog and all the multitude; and they shall call it, Valley of Hamon-Gog.

»”En aquel tiempo yo daré a Gog por sepultura un lugar en Israel, el valle de los que pasan al oriente del mar. Y obstruirá el paso a los transeúntes, pues allí enterrarán a Gog y a toda su multitud; y lo llamarán el Valle de Hamón-gog.

12 A nd seven months shall the house of Israel be burying them, that they may cleanse the land;

Y la casa de Israel los estará enterrando durante siete meses, para purificar el país.

13 a nd all the people of the land shall bury; and it shall be to them for renown in the day that I shall be glorified, saith the Lord Jehovah.

Los enterrará todo el pueblo del país, y será para ellos célebre el día en que yo sea glorificado, dice Jehová, el Señor.

14 A nd they shall sever out men of continual employment to go through the land, who, with the passers-by, shall bury those that remain upon the face of the land, to cleanse it: at the end of seven months shall they make a search.

Tomarán hombres a jornal que viajen por el país en busca de los que queden sobre la faz de la tierra, para enterrarlos, a fin de purificarla. Al cabo de siete meses harán la inspección.

15 A nd the passers-by shall pass through the land, and when seeth a man's bone, he shall set up a sign by it, till the buriers have buried it in the Valley of Hamon-Gog.

Pasarán los que vayan por el país, y el que vea los huesos de algún hombre pondrá junto a ellos una señal, hasta que los entierren los sepultureros en el valle de Hamón-gog.

16 A nd also the name of the city shall be Hamonah. Thus shall they cleanse the land.

Y también el nombre de la ciudad será Hamona; y purificarán el país.

17 A nd thou, son of man, thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Speak unto the birds of every wing, and to every beast of the field, Gather yourselves together and come, assemble yourselves on every side to my sacrifice which I sacrifice for you, a great sacrifice upon the mountains of Israel, that ye may eat flesh, and drink blood.

»”Tú, hijo de hombre, así ha dicho Jehová, el Señor: Di a las aves de toda especie y a toda fiera del campo: Juntaos, y venid; reuníos de todas partes junto a mi víctima que sacrifico para vosotros, un gran sacrificio sobre los montes de Israel; comeréis carne y beberéis sangre.

18 Y e shall eat the flesh of the mighty, and drink the blood of the princes of the earth, of rams, of lambs, and of goats, of bullocks, all of them fatted beasts of Bashan.

Comeréis carne de fuertes y beberéis sangre de soberanos de la tierra: ¡carneros, corderos, machos cabríos, bueyes y toros, engordados todos ellos en Basán!

19 A nd ye shall eat fat till ye are full, and drink blood till ye are drunken, of my sacrifice which I sacrifice for you.

Comeréis grasa hasta saciaros, y beberéis hasta embriagaros de sangre de las víctimas que para vosotros sacrifiqué.

20 A nd ye shall be filled at my table with horses and charioteers, with mighty men, and with all men of war, saith the Lord Jehovah.

A mi mesa os saciaréis de caballos, de jinetes fuertes y de todos los hombres de guerra, dice Jehová, el Señor.

21 A nd I will set my glory among the nations, and all the nations shall see my judgment which I have executed, and my hand which I have laid upon them.

»”Pondré mi gloria entre las naciones, y todas las naciones verán mi juicio que habré ejecutado y mi mano que puse sobre ellos.

22 A nd the house of Israel shall know that I Jehovah their God from that day and forward.

Desde aquel día en adelante sabrá la casa de Israel que yo soy Jehová, su Dios.

23 A nd the nations shall know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity, because they were unfaithful against me; and I hid my face from them, and gave them into the hand of their enemies, so that they fell all of them by the sword.

Y sabrán las naciones que la casa de Israel fue llevada cautiva por su pecado, por cuanto se rebelaron contra mí, y que yo escondí de ellos mi rostro, los entregué en manos de sus enemigos y cayeron todos a espada.

24 A ccording to their uncleanness and according to their transgressions I did unto them, and I hid my face from them.

Conforme a su inmundicia y conforme a sus rebeliones hice con ellos, y de ellos escondí mi rostro.

25 T herefore, thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Now will I bring again the captivity of Jacob, and have mercy upon the whole house of Israel, and will be jealous for my holy name:

»”Por tanto, así ha dicho Jehová, el Señor: Ahora voy a hacer que vuelvan los cautivos de Jacob. Tendré misericordia de toda la casa de Israel y me mostraré celoso por mi santo nombre.

26 a nd they shall bear their confusion, and all their unfaithfulness in which they have acted unfaithfully against me, when they shall dwell safely in their land, and none shall make them afraid;

Ellos sentirán su vergüenza por toda su rebelión con que se rebelaron contra mí, cuando habiten en su tierra con seguridad y no haya quien los espante;

27 w hen I have brought them again from the peoples, and gathered them out of their enemies' lands, and am hallowed in them in the sight of many nations.

cuando los saque de entre los pueblos y los reúna de la tierra de sus enemigos, y sea santificado en ellos ante los ojos de muchas naciones.

28 A nd they shall know that I Jehovah their God, in that I caused them to be led into captivity among the nations, and have gathered them unto their own land, and have left none of them any more there.

Y sabrán que yo soy Jehová, su Dios, cuando, después de haberlos llevado al cautiverio entre las naciones, los reúna sobre su tierra, sin dejar allí a ninguno de ellos.

29 A nd I will not hide my face any more from them, for I shall have poured out my Spirit upon the house of Israel, saith the Lord Jehovah.

No esconderé más de ellos mi rostro; porque habré derramado de mi Espíritu sobre la casa de Israel, dice Jehová, el Señor.”»
