1 H ow amiable are thy tabernacles, O Jehovah of hosts!

Cuán amables son tus moradas, oh Jehová de los ejércitos!

2 M y soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of Jehovah; my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God.

Anhela mi alma y aun ardientemente desea los atrios de Jehová; Mi corazón y mi carne cantan al Dios vivo.

3 Y ea, the sparrow hath found a house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she layeth her young, thine altars, O Jehovah of hosts, my King and my God.

Aun el gorrión halla casa, Y la golondrina nido para sí, donde ponga sus polluelos, Cerca de tus altares, oh Jehová de los ejércitos, Rey mío, y Dios mío.

4 B lessed are they that dwell in thy house: they will be constantly praising thee. Selah.

Bienaventurados los que habitan en tu casa; Perpetuamente te alabarán. Selah

5 B lessed is the man whose strength is in thee,—they, in whose heart are the highways.

Bienaventurado el hombre que tiene en ti sus fuerzas, En cuyo corazón están tus caminos.

6 P assing through the valley of Baca, they make it a well-spring; yea, the early rain covereth it with blessings.

Atravesando el valle de lágrimas lo cambian en fuente, Cuando la lluvia llena los estanques.

7 T hey go from strength to strength: will appear before God in Zion.

Irán de poder en poder; Verán a Dios en Sion.

8 J ehovah, God of hosts, hear my prayer; give ear, O God of Jacob. Selah.

Jehová Dios de los ejércitos, oye mi oración; Escucha, oh Dios de Jacob. Selah

9 B ehold, O God our shield, and look upon the face of thine anointed.

Mira, oh Dios, escudo nuestro, Y pon los ojos en el rostro de tu ungido.

10 F or a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather stand at the threshold of the house of my God, than dwell in the tents of wickedness.

Porque mejor es un día en tus atrios que mil fuera de ellos. Escogería antes estar a la puerta de la casa de mi Dios, Que habitar en las moradas de maldad.

11 F or Jehovah Elohim is a sun and shield: Jehovah will give grace and glory; no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

Porque sol y escudo es Jehová Dios; Gracia y gloria dará Jehová. No quitará el bien a los que andan en integridad.

12 J ehovah of hosts, blessed is the man that confideth in thee!

Jehová de los ejércitos, Dichoso el hombre que en ti confía.
