1 I will extol thee, Jehovah; for thou hast delivered me, and hast not made mine enemies to rejoice over me.

Te glorificaré, oh Jehová, porque me has exaltado, Y no permitiste que mis enemigos se alegraran de mí.

2 J ehovah my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me.

Jehová Dios mío, A ti clamé, y me sanaste.

3 J ehovah, thou hast brought up my soul from Sheol, thou hast quickened me from among those that go down to the pit.

Oh Jehová, hiciste subir mi alma del Seol; Me diste vida, para que no descendiese a la sepultura.

4 S ing psalms unto Jehovah, ye saints of his, and give thanks in remembrance of his holiness.

Cantad a Jehová, vosotros sus santos, Y celebrad la memoria de su santidad.

5 F or a moment in his anger, a life in his favour; at even weeping cometh for the night, and at morn there is rejoicing.

Porque un momento será su ira, Pero su favor dura toda la vida. Por la noche durará el lloro, Y a la mañana vendrá la alegría.

6 A s for me, I said in my prosperity, I shall never be moved.

En mi prosperidad dije yo: No seré jamás conmovido,

7 J ehovah, by thy favour thou hadst made my mountain to stand strong: thou didst hide thy face; I was troubled.

Porque tú, Jehová, con tu favor me afirmaste como monte fuerte. Escondiste tu rostro, fui turbado.

8 I called to thee, Jehovah, and unto the Lord did I make supplication:

A ti, oh Jehová, clamaré, Y al Señor suplicaré.

9 W hat profit is there in my blood, in my going down to the pit? shall the dust praise thee? shall it declare thy truth?

¿Qué provecho hay en mi muerte cuando descienda a la sepultura? ¿Te alabará el polvo? ¿Anunciará tu verdad?

10 H ear, O Jehovah, and be gracious unto me; Jehovah, be my helper.

Oye, oh Jehová, y ten misericordia de mí; Jehová, sé tú mi ayudador.

11 T hou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing; thou hast loosed my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness;

Has cambiado mi lamento en baile; Desataste mi cilicio, y me ceñiste de alegría.

12 T hat glory may sing psalms of thee, and not be silent. Jehovah my God, I will praise thee for ever.

Por tanto, a ti cantaré, gloria mía, y no estaré callado. Jehová Dios mío, te alabaré para siempre.
