1 S almo de David. MISERICORDIA y juicio cantaré: A ti cantaré yo, oh Jehová.

I will sing of loving-kindness and judgment: unto thee, Jehovah, will I sing psalms.

2 E ntenderé en el camino de la perfección Cuando vinieres á mí: En integridad de mi corazón andaré en medio de mi casa.

I will behave myself wisely in a perfect way. When wilt thou come unto me? I will walk within my house in the integrity of my heart.

3 N o pondré delante de mis ojos cosa injusta: Aborrezco la obra de los que se desvían: Ninguno de ellos se allegará á mí.

I will set no thing of Belial before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not cleave to me.

4 C orazón perverso se apartará de mí; No conoceré al malvado.

A perverse heart shall depart from me; I will not know evil.

5 A l que solapadamente infama á su prójimo, yo le cortaré; No sufriré al de ojos altaneros, y de corazón vanidoso.

Whoso secretly slandereth his neighbour, him will I destroy; him that hath a high look and a proud heart will I not suffer.

6 M is ojos pondré en los fieles de la tierra, para que estén conmigo: El que anduviere en el camino de la perfección, éste me sevirá.

Mine eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me; he that walketh in a perfect way, he shall serve me.

7 N o habitará dentro de mi casa el que hace fraude: El que habla mentiras no se afirmará delante de mis ojos.

He that practiseth deceit shall not dwell within my house; he that speaketh falsehoods shall not subsist in my sight.

8 P or las mañanas cortaré á todos los impíos de la tierra; Para extirpar de la ciudad de Jehová á todos los que obraren iniquidad.

Every morning will I destroy all the wicked of the land: to cut off all workers of iniquity from the city of Jehovah.
