1 W hen Israel went out of Egypt, the house of Jacob from a people of strange language;

4 T he mountains skipped like rams, and the little hills like lambs.

Los montes saltaron como carneros, los collados como corderitos.

5 W hat ailed thee, O thou sea, that thou fleddest? thou Jordan, that thou wast driven back?

¿Qué tuviste, oh mar, que huiste? ¿ Y tú, oh Jordán, que te volviste atrás?

6 Y e mountains, that ye skipped like rams; and ye little hills, like lambs?

Oh montes, ¿ por qué saltasteis como carneros, y vosotros, collados, como corderitos?

7 T remble, thou earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob;

A la presencia del Señor tiembla la tierra, a la presencia del Dios de Jacob;

8 W hich turned the rock into a standing water, the flint into a fountain of waters.

el cual tornó la peña en estanque de aguas, y en fuente de aguas la roca.
