1 J udge not, that ye be not judged.

No juzguéis para que no seáis juzgados.

2 F or with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured unto you.

Porque con el juicio con que juzguéis, seréis juzgados; y con la medida con que midáis, se os medirá.

3 A nd why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?

¿Y por qué miras la mota que está en el ojo de tu hermano, y no te das cuenta de la viga que está en tu propio ojo ?

4 O r how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me cast out the mote out of thine eye; and lo, the beam is in thine own eye?

¿O cómo puedes decir a tu hermano: “Déjame sacarte la mota del ojo”, cuando la viga está en tu ojo ?

5 T hou hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.

¡Hipócrita! Saca primero la viga de tu ojo, y entonces verás con claridad para sacar la mota del ojo de tu hermano.

6 G ive not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast your pearls before the swine, lest haply they trample them under their feet, and turn and rend you.

No deis lo santo a los perros, ni echéis vuestras perlas delante de los cerdos, no sea que las huellen con sus patas, y volviéndose os despedacen. La oración recibirá respuesta

7 A sk, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:

Pedid, y se os dará; buscad, y hallaréis; llamad, y se os abrirá.

8 f or every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

Porque todo el que pide, recibe; y el que busca, halla; y al que llama, se le abrirá.

9 O r what man is there of you, who, if his son shall ask him for a loaf, will give him a stone;

¿O qué hombre hay entre vosotros que si su hijo le pide pan, le dará una piedra,

10 o r if he shall ask for a fish, will give him a serpent?

o si le pide un pescado, le dará una serpiente?

11 I f ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father who is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

Pues si vosotros, siendo malos, sabéis dar buenas dádivas a vuestros hijos, ¿cuánto más vuestro Padre que está en los cielos dará cosas buenas a los que le piden ?

12 A ll things therefore whatsoever ye would that men should do unto you, even so do ye also unto them: for this is the law and the prophets.

Por eso, todo cuanto queráis que os hagan los hombres, así también haced vosotros con ellos, porque esta es la ley y los profetas. Dos puertas y dos sendas

13 E nter ye in by the narrow gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many are they that enter in thereby.

Entrad por la puerta estrecha, porque ancha es la puerta y amplia es la senda que lleva a la perdición, y muchos son los que entran por ella.

14 F or narrow is the gate, and straitened the way, that leadeth unto life, and few are they that find it.

Porque estrecha es la puerta y angosta la senda que lleva a la vida, y pocos son los que la hallan. Cómo conocer a los falsos profetas

15 B eware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly are ravening wolves.

Cuidaos de los falsos profetas, que vienen a vosotros con vestidos de ovejas, pero por dentro son lobos rapaces.

16 B y their fruits ye shall know them. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

Por sus frutos los conoceréis. ¿Acaso se recogen uvas de los espinos o higos de los abrojos?

17 E ven so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but the corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.

Así, todo árbol bueno da frutos buenos; pero el árbol malo da frutos malos.

18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

Un árbol bueno no puede producir frutos malos, ni un árbol malo producir frutos buenos.

19 E very tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

Todo árbol que no da buen fruto, es cortado y echado al fuego.

20 T herefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

Así que, por sus frutos los conoceréis.

21 N ot every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father who is in heaven.

No todo el que me dice: “Señor, Señor ”, entrará en el reino de los cielos, sino el que hace la voluntad de mi Padre que está en los cielos.

22 M any will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy by thy name, and by thy name cast out demons, and by thy name do many mighty works?

Muchos me dirán en aquel día: “Señor, Señor, ¿no profetizamos en tu nombre, y en tu nombre echamos fuera demonios, y en tu nombre hicimos muchos milagros ?”

23 A nd then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Y entonces les declararé: “Jamás os conocí; apartaos de mi, los que practicais la iniquidad.” Los dos cimientos

24 E very one therefore that heareth these words of mine, and doeth them, shall be likened unto a wise man, who built his house upon the rock:

Por tanto, cualquiera que oye estas palabras mías y las pone en práctica, será semejante a un hombre sabio que edificó su casa sobre la roca;

25 a nd the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and if fell not: for it was founded upon the rock.

y cayó la lluvia, vinieron los torrentes, soplaron los vientos y azotaron aquella casa; pero no se cayó, porque había sido fundada sobre la roca.

26 A nd every one that heareth these words of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, who built his house upon the sand:

Y todo el que oye estas palabras mías y no las pone en práctica, será semejante a un hombre insensato que edificó su casa sobre la arena;

27 a nd the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and smote upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall thereof.

y cayó la lluvia, vinieron los torrentes, soplaron los vientos y azotaron aquella casa; y cayó, y grande fue su destrucción.

28 A nd it came to pass, when Jesus had finished these words, the multitudes were astonished at his teaching:

Cuando Jesús terminó estas palabras, las multitudes se admiraban de su enseñanza;

29 f or he taught them as one having authority, and not as their scribes.

porque les enseñaba como uno que tiene autoridad, y no como sus escribas.
