1 I n you, Yahweh, I take refuge. Never let me be disappointed.

En ti, Jehová, me he refugiado; no sea yo avergonzado jamás.

2 D eliver me in your righteousness, and rescue me. Turn your ear to me, and save me.

Socórreme y líbrame en tu justicia; Inclina tu oído y sálvame.

3 B e to me a rock of refuge to which I may always go. Give the command to save me, for you are my rock and my fortress.

Sé para mí una roca de refugio adonde recurra yo continuamente. Tú has dado mandamiento para salvarme, porque tú eres mi roca y mi fortaleza.

4 R escue me, my God, from the hand of the wicked, from the hand of the unrighteous and cruel man.

Dios mío, líbrame de manos del impío, de manos del perverso y violento,

5 F or you are my hope, Lord Yahweh; my confidence from my youth.

porque tú, Señor Jehová, eres mi esperanza, seguridad mía desde mi juventud.

6 I have relied on you from the womb. You are he who took me out of my mother’s womb. I will always praise you.

En ti he sido sustentado desde el vientre. Del vientre de mi madre tú fuiste el que me sacó; para ti será siempre mi alabanza.

7 I am a marvel to many, but you are my strong refuge.

Como prodigio he sido a muchos, y tú mi refugio fuerte.

8 M y mouth shall be filled with your praise, with your honor all the day.

Sea llena mi boca de tu alabanza, de tu gloria todo el día.

9 D on’t reject me in my old age. Don’t forsake me when my strength fails.

No me deseches en el tiempo de la vejez; cuando mi fuerza se acabe, no me desampares,

10 F or my enemies talk about me. Those who watch for my soul conspire together,

porque mis enemigos hablan de mí y los que acechan mi alma se consultan entre sí,

11 s aying, “God has forsaken him. Pursue and take him, for no one will rescue him.”

diciendo: «Dios lo ha desamparado; perseguidlo y tomadlo, porque no hay quien lo libre.»

12 G od, don’t be far from me. My God, hurry to help me.

¡No te alejes, Dios, de mí; Dios mío, acude pronto en mi socorro!

13 L et my accusers be disappointed and consumed. Let them be covered with disgrace and scorn who want to harm me.

Sean avergonzados, perezcan los adversarios de mi alma; sean cubiertos de vergüenza y de confusión los que mi mal buscan.

14 B ut I will always hope, and will add to all of your praise.

Mas yo esperaré siempre y te alabaré más y más.

15 M y mouth will tell about your righteousness, and of your salvation all day, though I don’t know its full measure.

Mi boca publicará tu justicia y tus hechos de salvación todo el día, aunque no sé su número.

16 I will come with the mighty acts of the Lord Yahweh. I will make mention of your righteousness, even of yours alone.

Volveré a los hechos poderosos de Jehová el Señor; haré memoria de tu justicia, de la tuya sola.

17 G od, you have taught me from my youth. Until now, I have declared your wondrous works.

Me enseñaste, Dios, desde mi juventud, y hasta ahora he manifestado tus maravillas.

18 Y es, even when I am old and gray-haired, God, don’t forsake me, until I have declared your strength to the next generation, your might to everyone who is to come.

Aun en la vejez y las canas, Dios, no me desampares, hasta que anuncie tu poder a la posteridad, tu potencia a todos los que han de venir,

19 Y our righteousness also, God, reaches to the heavens; you have done great things. God, who is like you?

y tu justicia, Dios, que llega hasta lo excelso. ¡Tú has hecho grandes cosas! Dios, ¿quién como tú?

20 Y ou, who have shown us many and bitter troubles, you will let me live. You will bring us up again from the depths of the earth.

Tú, que me has hecho ver muchas angustias y males, volverás a darme vida y de nuevo me levantarás desde los abismos de la tierra.

21 I ncrease my honor, and comfort me again.

Aumentarás mi grandeza y volverás a consolarme.

22 I will also praise you with the harp for your faithfulness, my God. I sing praises to you with the lyre, Holy One of Israel.

Asimismo yo te alabaré con instrumento de salterio, Dios mío; tu lealtad cantaré a ti en el arpa, Santo de Israel.

23 M y lips shall shout for joy! My soul, which you have redeemed, sings praises to you!

Mis labios se alegrarán cuando cante para ti; y mi alma, la cual redimiste.

24 M y tongue will also talk about your righteousness all day long, for they are disappointed, and they are confounded, who want to harm me.

Mi lengua hablará también de tu justicia todo el día; por cuanto han sido avergonzados, porque han sido confundidos los que mi mal procuraban.
