1 Y ahweh spoke to Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the first month of the second year after they had come out of the land of Egypt, saying,

Habló Jehová a Moisés en el desierto de Sinaí, el primer mes del segundo año de su salida de la tierra de Egipto, y le dijo:

2 “ Moreover let the children of Israel keep the Passover in its appointed season.

«Los hijos de Israel celebrarán la Pascua a su debido tiempo.

3 O n the fourteenth day of this month, at evening, you shall keep it in its appointed season—according to all its statutes, and according to all its ordinances, you shall keep it.”

La celebraréis el decimocuarto día de este mes, al atardecer, a su debido tiempo; conforme a todos sus ritos y conforme a todas sus leyes la celebraréis.»

4 M oses spoke to the children of Israel, that they should keep the Passover.

Entonces dijo Moisés a los hijos de Israel que celebraran la Pascua.

5 T hey kept the Passover in the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month, at evening, in the wilderness of Sinai. According to all that Yahweh commanded Moses, so the children of Israel did.

Celebraron la Pascua el primer mes, el día catorce del mes, al atardecer, en el desierto de Sinaí; conforme a todas las cosas que mandó Jehová a Moisés, así hicieron los hijos de Israel.

6 T here were certain men, who were unclean because of the dead body of a man, so that they could not keep the Passover on that day, and they came before Moses and before Aaron on that day.

Pero ocurrió que algunos estaban impuros a causa de un muerto, y no pudieron celebrar la Pascua aquel día. Aquellos hombres se presentaron ese mismo día delante de Moisés y delante de Aarón,

7 T hose men said to him, “We are unclean because of the dead body of a man. Why are we kept back, that we may not offer the offering of Yahweh in its appointed season among the children of Israel?”

y les dijeron: —Nosotros estamos impuros a causa de un muerto. ¿Por qué seremos impedidos de presentar la ofrenda a Jehová a su debido tiempo con los demás hijos de Israel?

8 M oses answered them, “Wait, that I may hear what Yahweh will command concerning you.”

Moisés les respondió: —Esperad, y oiré lo que ordena Jehová acerca de vosotros.

9 Y ahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

Entonces Jehová dijo a Moisés:

10 “ Say to the children of Israel, ‘If any man of you or of your generations is unclean by reason of a dead body, or is on a journey far away, he shall still keep the Passover to Yahweh.

«Habla a los hijos de Israel, y diles: Cualquiera de vosotros o de vuestros descendientes que esté impuro a causa de un muerto, o esté de viaje lejos, celebrará la Pascua a Jehová.

11 I n the second month, on the fourteenth day at evening they shall keep it; they shall eat it with unleavened bread and bitter herbs.

La celebrarán el segundo mes, el día catorce del mes, al atardecer; con panes sin levadura y hierbas amargas la comerán.

12 T hey shall leave none of it until the morning, nor break a bone of it. According to all the statute of the Passover they shall keep it.

No dejarán nada del animal sacrificado para la mañana, ni le quebrarán ningún hueso; conforme a todos los ritos de la Pascua la celebrarán.

13 B ut the man who is clean, and is not on a journey, and fails to keep the Passover, that soul shall be cut off from his people. Because he didn’t offer the offering of Yahweh in its appointed season, that man shall bear his sin.

Pero el que esté limpio y no se encuentre de viaje, si deja de celebrar la Pascua, la tal persona será eliminada de en medio de su pueblo. Tal hombre cargará con su pecado, por cuanto no ofreció a su debido tiempo la ofrenda de Jehová.

14 “ ‘If a foreigner lives among you, and desires to keep the Passover to Yahweh; according to the statute of the Passover, and according to its ordinance, so shall he do. You shall have one statute, both for the foreigner, and for him who is born in the land.’”

»Y si habita con vosotros algún extranjero, y celebra la Pascua a Jehová, conforme al rito de la Pascua y conforme a sus leyes la celebrará: un mismo rito tendréis, tanto el extranjero como el natural de la tierra.» La nube sobre el Tabernáculo

15 O n the day that the tabernacle was raised up, the cloud covered the tabernacle, even the Tent of the Testimony: and at evening it was over the tabernacle as it were the appearance of fire, until morning.

El día que el Tabernáculo fue erigido, la nube cubrió el Tabernáculo sobre la tienda del Testimonio. Por la tarde había sobre el Tabernáculo como una apariencia de fuego, hasta la mañana.

16 S o it was continually. The cloud covered it, and the appearance of fire by night.

Así era continuamente: la nube lo cubría de día, y de noche la apariencia de fuego.

17 W henever the cloud was taken up from over the Tent, then after that the children of Israel traveled; and in the place where the cloud remained, there the children of Israel encamped.

Cuando se alzaba la nube del Tabernáculo, los hijos de Israel partían; y en el lugar donde la nube paraba, allí acampaban los hijos de Israel.

18 A t the commandment of Yahweh, the children of Israel traveled, and at the commandment of Yahweh they encamped. As long as the cloud remained on the tabernacle they remained encamped.

Al mandato de Jehová los hijos de Israel partían, y al mandato de Jehová acampaban; todos los días que la nube estaba sobre el Tabernáculo permanecían acampados.

19 W hen the cloud stayed on the tabernacle many days, then the children of Israel kept Yahweh’s command, and didn’t travel.

Cuando la nube se detenía sobre el Tabernáculo muchos días, entonces los hijos de Israel guardaban la ordenanza de Jehová y no partían.

20 S ometimes the cloud was a few days on the tabernacle; then according to the commandment of Yahweh they remained encamped, and according to the commandment of Yahweh they traveled.

Y cuando la nube estaba sobre el Tabernáculo pocos días, al mandato de Jehová acampaban, y al mandato de Jehová partían.

21 S ometimes the cloud was from evening until morning; and when the cloud was taken up in the morning, they traveled: or by day and by night, when the cloud was taken up, they traveled.

Cuando la nube se detenía desde la tarde hasta la mañana, y a la mañana la nube se levantaba, ellos partían; o si había estado un día, y a la noche la nube se levantaba, entonces partían.

22 W hether it was two days, or a month, or a year that the cloud stayed on the tabernacle, remaining on it, the children of Israel remained encamped, and didn’t travel; but when it was taken up, they traveled.

Si la nube se detenía sobre el Tabernáculo dos días, un mes o un año, mientras la nube permanecía sobre él, los hijos de Israel seguían acampados y no se movían. Pero cuando ella se alzaba, ellos partían.

23 A t the commandment of Yahweh they encamped, and at the commandment of Yahweh they traveled. They kept Yahweh’s command, at the commandment of Yahweh by Moses.

Al mandato de Jehová acampaban, y al mandato de Jehová partían. Así guardaban la ordenanza de Jehová, como Jehová lo había dicho por medio de Moisés.
