1 B endeciré a Jehová en todo tiempo; Su alabanza estará de continuo en mi boca.

I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.

2 E n Jehová se gloriará mi alma; Lo oirán los mansos, y se alegrarán.

My life makes its boast in the Lord; let the humble and afflicted hear and be glad.

3 E ngrandeced a Jehová conmigo, Y exaltemos a una su nombre.

O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together.

4 B usqué a Jehová, y él me oyó, Y me libró de todos mis temores.

I sought (inquired of) the Lord and required Him, and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.

5 L os que miraron a él fueron alumbrados, Y sus rostros no fueron avergonzados.

They looked to Him and were radiant; their faces shall never blush for shame or be confused.

6 E ste pobre clamó, y le oyó Jehová, Y lo libró de todas sus angustias.

This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.

7 E l ángel de Jehová acampa alrededor de los que le temen, Y los defiende.

The Angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him and each of them He delivers.

8 G ustad, y ved que es bueno Jehová; Dichoso el hombre que confía en él.

O taste and see that the Lord is good! Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is the man who trusts and takes refuge in Him.

9 T emed a Jehová, vosotros sus santos, Pues nada falta a los que le temen.

O fear the Lord, you His saints! For there is no want to those who truly revere and worship Him with godly fear.

10 L os leoncillos necesitan, y tienen hambre; Pero los que buscan a Jehová no tendrán falta de ningún bien.

The young lions lack food and suffer hunger, but they who seek (inquire of and require) the Lord, none of them shall lack any beneficial thing.

11 V enid, hijos, oídme; El temor de Jehová os enseñaré.

Come, you children, listen to me; I will teach you to revere and worshipfully fear the Lord.

12 ¿ Quién es el hombre que desea vida, Que desea muchos días para ver el bien?

What man is he who desires life and longs for many days, that he may see good?

13 G uarda tu lengua del mal, Y tus labios de hablar engaño.

Keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking deceit.

14 A pártate del mal, y haz el bien; Busca la paz, y síguela.

Depart from evil and do good; seek, inquire for, and crave peace and pursue (go after) it!

15 L os ojos de Jehová están sobre los justos, Y atentos sus oídos al clamor de ellos.

The eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous and His ears are open to their cry.

16 L a ira de Jehová contra los que hacen mal, Para cortar de la tierra la memoria de ellos.

The face of the Lord is against those who do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.

17 C laman los justos, y Jehová oye, Y los libra de todas sus angustias.

When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their distress and troubles.

18 C ercano está Jehová a los quebrantados de corazón; Y salva a los contritos de espíritu.

The Lord is close to those who are of a broken heart and saves such as are crushed with sorrow for sin and are humbly and thoroughly penitent.

19 M uchas son las aflicciones del justo, Pero de todas ellas le librará Jehová.

Many evils confront the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all.

20 E l guarda todos sus huesos; Ni uno de ellos será quebrantado.

He keeps all his bones; not one of them is broken.

21 M atará al malo la maldad, Y los que aborrecen al justo serán condenados.

Evil shall cause the death of the wicked; and they who hate the just and righteous shall be held guilty and shall be condemned.

22 J ehová redime el alma de sus siervos, Y no serán condenados cuantos en él confían.

The Lord redeems the lives of His servants, and none of those who take refuge and trust in Him shall be condemned or held guilty.
