1 E n ti, oh Jehová, he confiado; no sea yo confundido jamás; Líbrame en tu justicia.

In You, O Lord, do I put my trust and seek refuge; let me never be put to shame or disappointed; deliver me in Your righteousness!

2 I nclina a mí tu oído, líbrame pronto; Sé tú mi roca fuerte, y fortaleza para salvarme.

Bow down Your ear to me, deliver me speedily! Be my Rock of refuge, a strong Fortress to save me!

3 P orque tú eres mi roca y mi castillo; Por tu nombre me guiarás y me encaminarás.

Yes, You are my Rock and my Fortress; therefore for Your name’s sake lead me and guide me.

4 S ácame de la red que han escondido para mí, Pues tú eres mi refugio.

Draw me out of the net that they have laid secretly for me, for You are my Strength and my Stronghold.

5 E n tu mano encomiendo mi espíritu; Tú me has redimido, oh Jehová, Dios de verdad.

Into Your hands I commit my spirit; You have redeemed me, O Lord, the God of truth and faithfulness.

6 A borrezco a los que esperan en vanidades ilusorias; Mas yo en Jehová he esperado.

I abhor those who pay regard to vain idols; but I trust in, rely on, and confidently lean on the Lord.

7 M e gozaré y alegraré en tu misericordia, Porque has visto mi aflicción; Has conocido mi alma en las angustias.

I will be glad and rejoice in Your mercy and steadfast love, because You have seen my affliction, You have taken note of my life’s distresses,

8 N o me entregaste en mano del enemigo; Pusiste mis pies en lugar espacioso.

And You have not given me into the hand of the enemy; You have set my feet in a broad place.

9 T en misericordia de mí, oh Jehová, porque estoy en angustia; Se han consumido de tristeza mis ojos, mi alma también y mi cuerpo.

Have mercy and be gracious unto me, O Lord, for I am in trouble; with grief my eye is weakened, also my inner self and my body.

10 P orque mi vida se va gastando de dolor, y mis años de suspirar; Se agotan mis fuerzas a causa de mi iniquidad, y mis huesos se han consumido.

For my life is spent with sorrow and my years with sighing; my strength has failed because of my iniquity, and even my bones have wasted away.

11 D e todos mis enemigos soy objeto de oprobio, Y de mis vecinos mucho más, y el horror de mis conocidos; Los que me ven fuera huyen de mí.

To all my enemies I have become a reproach, but especially to my neighbors, and a dread to my acquaintances, who flee from me on the street.

12 H e sido olvidado de su corazón como un muerto; He venido a ser como un vaso quebrado.

I am forgotten like a dead man, and out of mind; like a broken vessel am I.

13 P orque oigo la calumnia de muchos; El miedo me asalta por todas partes, Mientras consultan juntos contra mí E idean quitarme la vida.

For I have heard the slander of many; terror is on every side! While they schemed together against me, they plotted to take my life.

14 M as yo en ti confío, oh Jehová; Digo: Tú eres mi Dios.

But I trusted in, relied on, and was confident in You, O Lord; I said, You are my God.

15 E n tu mano están mis tiempos; Líbrame de la mano de mis enemigos y de mis perseguidores.

My times are in Your hands; deliver me from the hands of my foes and those who pursue me and persecute me.

16 H az resplandecer tu rostro sobre tu siervo; Sálvame por tu misericordia.

Let Your face shine on Your servant; save me for Your mercy’s sake and in Your loving-kindness.

17 N o sea yo avergonzado, oh Jehová, ya que te he invocado; Sean avergonzados los impíos, estén mudos en el Seol.

Let me not be put to shame, O Lord, or disappointed, for I am calling upon You; let the wicked be put to shame, let them be silent in Sheol (the place of the dead).

18 E nmudezcan los labios mentirosos, Que hablan contra el justo cosas duras Con soberbia y menosprecio.

Let the lying lips be silenced, which speak insolently against the righteous with pride and contempt.

19 C uán grande es tu bondad, que has guardado para los que te temen, Que has mostrado a los que esperan en ti, delante de los hijos de los hombres!

Oh, how great is Your goodness, which You have laid up for those who fear, revere, and worship You, goodness which You have wrought for those who trust and take refuge in You before the sons of men!

20 E n lo secreto de tu presencia los esconderás de la conspiración del hombre; Los pondrás en un tabernáculo a cubierto de contención de lenguas.

In the secret place of Your presence You hide them from the plots of men; You keep them secretly in Your pavilion from the strife of tongues.

21 B endito sea Jehová, Porque ha hecho maravillosa su misericordia para conmigo en ciudad fortificada.

Blessed be the Lord! For He has shown me His marvelous loving favor when I was beset as in a besieged city.

22 D ecía yo en mi premura: Cortado soy de delante de tus ojos; Pero tú oíste la voz de mis ruegos cuando a ti clamaba.

As for me, I said in my haste and alarm, I am cut off from before Your eyes. But You heard the voice of my supplications when I cried to You for aid.

23 A mad a Jehová, todos vosotros sus santos; A los fieles guarda Jehová, Y paga abundantemente al que procede con soberbia.

O love the Lord, all you His saints! The Lord preserves the faithful, and plentifully pays back him who deals haughtily.

24 E sforzaos todos vosotros los que esperáis en Jehová, Y tome aliento vuestro corazón.

Be strong and let your heart take courage, all you who wait for and hope for and expect the Lord!
