1 M ake a joyful noise unto God, all the earth:

اهتِفِي تَكرِيماً للهِ يا كُلَّ الأرْضِ.

2 S ing forth the glory of his name: Make his praise glorious.

اعزِفُوا تَكرِيماً لاسمِهِ المَجِيدِ! بِالتَّسبِيحِ كَرِّمُوهُ!

3 S ay unto God, How terrible are thy works! Through the greatness of thy power shall thine enemies submit themselves unto thee.

قُولُوا للهِ: «مُهِيبَةٌ هِيَ أعمالُكَ! حَتَّى أعداؤُكَ يَتَمَلَّقُونَكَ بِتَرانِيمِ تَسبِيحٍ كَثِيرَةٍ.

4 A ll the earth shall worship thee, And shall sing unto thee; They shall sing to thy name. Selah

تَسْجُدُ لَكَ الأرْضُ كُلُّها. لَكَ يُرَنِّمُونَ مَزامِيرَ. لاسْمِكَ يُرَنِّمُونَ.» سِلاهْ

5 C ome, and see the works of God; He is terrible in his doing toward the children of men.

اذهَبُوا لِتَرَوا ما فَعَلَ اللهُ. صَنَعَ أعمالاً مُهِيبَةً فَلا يُقَلِّدُها بَشَرٌ.

6 H e turned the sea into dry land; They went through the river on foot: There did we rejoice in him.

حَوَّلَ البَحرَ الأحمَرَ إلَى أرْضٍ يابِسَةٍ. وَمَشَى شَعبُهُ عَبرَ نَهرِ الأُردُنِّ عَلَى أقدامِهِمْ. وَهُناكَ ابتَهَجُوا بِهِ.

7 H e ruleth by his might for ever; His eyes observe the nations: Let not the rebellious exalt themselves. Selah

بِقُوَّتِهِ يَتَسَيَّدُ عَلَى الأرْضِ إلَى الأبَدِ. بِعَينَيهِ يُراقِبُ الشُّعُوبَ. وَالمُتَمَرِّدُونَ عَلَيهِ لا ينْجَحُونَ! سِلاهْ

8 O h bless our God, ye peoples, And make the voice of his praise to be heard;

يا شُعُوبُ بارِكُوا إلَهَنا! عَلُّوا تَسابِيحَهُ!

9 W ho holdeth our soul in life, And suffereth not our feet to be moved.

هُوَ حَفِظَ حَياتَنا، وَلَمْ يَدَعْنا نَسقُطُ.

10 F or thou, O God, hast proved us: Thou hast tried us, as silver is tried.

لَكِنَّكَ امتَحَنتَنا يا اللهُ! فِي تَجارِبَ نارِيَّةٍ أدخَلْتَنا، كَما يَمتَحِنُ صانِعُ الفِضَّةِ فِضَّتَهُ!

11 T hou broughtest us into the net; Thou layedst a sore burden upon our loins.

إلَى مِصيَدَةٍ أدخَلتَنا. وَرَبَطتَ حِبالاً عَلَى خَواصِرِنا.

12 T hou didst cause men to ride over our heads; We went through fire and through water; But thou broughtest us out into a wealthy place.

مِنْ رُؤُوسِنا جَرَرْتَنا وَفِي النّارِ وَالماءِ أجَزْتَنا. قُدْتَنا إلَى مَكانٍ بَدِيعٍ.

13 I will come into thy house with burnt-offerings; I will pay thee my vows,

ها أنا آتِي إلَى بَيتِكَ بِذَبائِحَ صاعِدَةٍ لأُوفِيَ نُذُورِي

14 W hich my lips uttered, And my mouth spake, when I was in distress.

الَّتِي نَطَقْتُ بِها بِشَفَتّيَّ، وَوَعَدْتُ بِها فِي ضِيقِي.

15 I will offer unto thee burnt-offerings of fatlings, With the incense of rams; I will offer bullocks with goats. Selah

أُقَدِّمُ لَكَ ذَبائِحَ صاعِدَةً سَمينَةً وَبَخُوراً وَكِباشاً، ثِيراناً وَتُيُوساً. سِلاهْ

16 C ome, and hear, all ye that fear God, And I will declare what he hath done for my soul.

تَعالَوا يا خائِفِي اللهَ، وَسَأُخبِرُكُمْ بِما صَنَعَ لِي.

17 I cried unto him with my mouth, And he was extolled with my tongue.

أنا دَعَوتُهُ! وَكَلِماتُ التَّعظِيمِ عَلَى لِسانِي.

18 I f I regard iniquity in my heart, The Lord will not hear:

وَأنا أُدرِكُ أنَّ سَيِّدِي لَنْ يَسمَعَنِي إذا رَأيتُ نَجاسَةً فِي قَلبِي وَلَمْ أنزَعْها.

19 B ut verily God hath heard; He hath attended to the voice of my prayer.

لَكِنَّ اللهَ بِالفِعلِ قَدْ سَمِعَ! وَأصغَى إلَى صَلاتِي!

20 B lessed be God, Who hath not turned away my prayer, Nor his lovingkindness from me.

أحمَدُ اللهَ الَّذِي لَمْ يَرُدَّ صَلاتِي، وَعَنِّي لَمْ يَمنَعْ رَحمَتَهُ.
