1 M y heart overflows with a goodly theme; I address my psalm to a King. My tongue is like the pen of a ready writer.

2 Y ou are fairer than the children of men; graciousness is poured upon Your lips; therefore God has blessed You forever.

3 G ird Your sword upon Your thigh, O mighty One, in Your glory and Your majesty!

Hỡi Đấng mạnh dạn, hãy đai gươm nơi hông, Là sự vinh hiển và sự oai nghi của Ngài.

4 A nd in Your majesty ride on triumphantly for the cause of truth, humility, and righteousness (uprightness and right standing with God); and let Your right hand guide You to tremendous things.

Vì cớ sự chơn thật, sự hiền từ, và sự công bình, Hãy lấy sự oai nghi Ngài cỡi xe lướt tới cách thắng trận; Tay hữu Ngài sẽ dạy cho Ngài những việc đáng kính.

5 Y our arrows are sharp; the peoples fall under You; Your darts pierce the hearts of the King’s enemies.

Các mũi tên Ngài bén nhọn, Bắn thấu tim kẻ thù nghịch vua; Các dân đều ngã dưới Ngài.

6 Y our throne, O God, is forever and ever; the scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom.

Hỡi Đức Chúa Trời, ngôi Chúa còn mãi đời nọ qua đời kia; Binh quyền nước Chúa là một binh quyền ngay thẳng.

7 Y ou love righteousness, uprightness, and right standing with God and hate wickedness; therefore God, Your God, has anointed You with the oil of gladness above Your fellows.

Chúa ưa sự công bình, và ghét điều gian ác; Cho nên Đức Chúa Trời, là Đức Chúa Trời của Chúa, đã xức dầu cho Chúa Bằng dầu vui vẻ trổi hơn đồng loại Chúa.

8 Y our garments are all fragrant with myrrh, aloes, and cassia; stringed instruments make You glad.

Các áo xống Ngài bay mùi thơm một dược, trầm hương, và nhục quế; Từ trong đền ngà có tiếng nhạc khí bằng dây làm vui vẻ Ngài.

9 K ings’ daughters are among Your honorable women; at Your right hand stands the queen in gold of Ophir.

Trong bọn người nữ tôn quí của Ngài có các công chúa; Hoàng hậu đứng bên hữu Ngài, trang sức vàng ô-phia.

10 H ear, O daughter, consider, submit, and consent to my instruction: forget also your own people and your father’s house;

Hỡi con gái, hãy nghe, hãy suy nghĩ, hãy lắng tôi; Khá quên dân sự và nhà cửa cha của con;

11 S o will the King desire your beauty; because He is your Lord, be submissive and reverence and honor Him.

Thì vua sẽ mộ nhan sắc con; Vì Ngài là chúa con; hãy tôn kính Ngài.

12 A nd, O daughter of Tyre, the richest of the people shall entreat your favor with a gift.

Con gái Ty-rơ sẽ đem lễ vật đến, Và những người giàu sang hơn hết trong dân sẽ đến cầu ơn con.

13 T he King’s daughter in the inner part is all glorious; her clothing is inwrought with gold.

Công chúa trong đền được rất vinh hiển; A

14 S he shall be brought to the King in raiment of needlework; with the virgins, her companions that follow her, she shall be brought to You.

Nàng sẽ mặc áo gấm ra mắt vua; Các nữ đồng trinh là bạn đi theo nàng sẽ được đưa đến Ngài.

15 W ith gladness and rejoicing will they be brought; they will enter into the King’s palace.

Họ sẽ được dẫn đến có sự vui vẻ và khoái lạc, Mà vào đền vua.

16 I nstead of Your fathers shall be Your sons, whom You will make princes in all the land.

Các con trai Ngài sẽ thay cho tổ phụ Ngài; Ngài sẽ lập họ làm quan trưởng trong khắp thế gian.

17 I will make Your name to be remembered in all generations; therefore shall the people praise and give You thanks forever and ever.

Tôi sẽ làm cho danh Ngài được nhắc lại trong các đời; Vì cớ ấy các dân tộc sẽ cảm tạ Ngài đời đời không thôi.
