1 D oamne, cine poate sălăşlui în cortul Tău? Cine poate locui pe muntele Tău cel sfânt?

Lord, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill?

2 C el ce umblă în integritate; cel ce face dreptate; cel ce spune adevărul din inimă

He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart.

3 ş i nu bârfeşte cu limba lui; cel ce nu-i face rău prietenului său şi nu aruncă insulte asupra semenului său;

He that backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbour, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour.

4 c el ce dispreţuieşte pe cel vrednic de dispreţ, dar cinsteşte pe cei ce se tem de Domnul; cel ce nu-şi ia vorba înapoi chiar dacă a jurat spre paguba lui;

In whose eyes a vile person is contemned; but he honoureth them that fear the Lord. He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not.

5 c el ce nu-şi dă argintul cu dobândă şi nici nu acceptă daruri ca să-l nedreptăţească pe cel nevinovat. Cel ce face aşa nu se va clătina niciodată!

He that putteth not out his money to usury, nor taketh reward against the innocent. He that doeth these things shall never be moved.
