1 A poi m-a scos în curtea exterioară, în partea de nord, şi m-a dus la odăile dinaintea locului gol, adică în faţa clădirii din partea de nord.

Then he brought me forth into the utter court, the way toward the north: and he brought me into the chamber that was over against the separate place, and which was before the building toward the north.

2 P artea din faţă a clădirii, a cărei poartă dădea spre nord, avea o lungime de o sută de coţi şi o lăţime de cincizeci de coţi.

Before the length of an hundred cubits was the north door, and the breadth was fifty cubits.

3 D e-a lungul celor douăzeci de coţi ai curţii interioare şi în faţa pavimentului curţii exterioare, pe cele trei niveluri erau galerii, una lângă alta.

Over against the twenty cubits which were for the inner court, and over against the pavement which was for the utter court, was gallery against gallery in three stories.

4 Î n faţa odăilor era un pasaj interior, lat de zece coţi şi lung de o sută de coţi, iar uşile acestora dădeau înspre nord.

And before the chambers was a walk to ten cubits breadth inward, a way of one cubit; and their doors toward the north.

5 O dăile de sus erau mai înguste, deoarece galeriile ocupau mai mult din spaţiul lor decât din spaţiul celor de la nivelurile de jos şi de mijloc ale clădirii.

Now the upper chambers were shorter: for the galleries were higher than these, than the lower, and than the middlemost of the building.

6 O dăile de la al treilea nivel nu aveau stâlpi, aşa cum avea curtea, astfel că, începând de jos, ele erau mai mici decât cele de la nivelurile de jos şi de mijloc.

For they were in three stories, but had not pillars as the pillars of the courts: therefore the building was straitened more than the lowest and the middlemost from the ground.

7 P aralel cu odăile, înspre curtea exterioară, era un zid exterior care se întindea în faţa odăilor, pe o lungime de cincizeci de coţi.

And the wall that was without over against the chambers, toward the utter court on the forepart of the chambers, the length thereof was fifty cubits.

8 L ungimea şirului de odăi din curtea exterioară era de cincizeci de coţi, în timp ce lungimea celor din faţa Locului Sfânt era de o sută de coţi.

For the length of the chambers that were in the utter court was fifty cubits: and, lo, before the temple were an hundred cubits.

9 P rimul nivel de odăi avea o intrare în partea de răsărit, cum se vine la ele dinspre curtea exterioară.

And from under these chambers was the entry on the east side, as one goeth into them from the utter court.

10 Î n partea de sud, de-a lungul zidului curţii exterioare, în dreptul locului gol şi în dreptul clădirii, erau şi acolo odăi.

The chambers were in the thickness of the wall of the court toward the east, over against the separate place, and over against the building.

11 P asajul dinaintea lor era la fel ca cel al odăilor din partea de nord, de aceeaşi lungime şi lăţime. Toate ieşirile lor, precum şi întocmirea şi uşile lor erau ca ale celorlalte.

And the way before them was like the appearance of the chambers which were toward the north, as long as they, and as broad as they: and all their goings out were both according to their fashions, and according to their doors.

12 T ot aşa erau şi uşile odăilor din partea de sud. Era o uşă la capătul pasajului, care se afla în faţa zidului dinspre răsărit, prin care se intra în odăi.

And according to the doors of the chambers that were toward the south was a door in the head of the way, even the way directly before the wall toward the east, as one entereth into them.

13 E l mi-a spus: „Odăile din nord şi odăile din sud, din faţa locului gol, sunt odăile sfinte unde vor mânca lucrurile preasfinte preoţii care se apropie de Domnul. Acolo vor pune lucrurile preasfinte, darurile de mâncare, jertfele pentru păcat şi jertfele pentru vină, căci este un loc sfânt.

Then said he unto me, The north chambers and the south chambers, which are before the separate place, they be holy chambers, where the priests that approach unto the Lord shall eat the most holy things: there shall they lay the most holy things, and the meat offering, and the sin offering, and the trespass offering; for the place is holy.

14 C ând preoţii vor intra, ei nu vor avea voie să iasă din Locul Sfânt în curtea exterioară, fără ca să-şi fi lăsat acolo hainele cu care au slujit, căci sunt sfinte. Ei se vor îmbrăca în alte haine şi numai după aceea se vor apropia de curtea care este pentru popor.“

When the priests enter therein, then shall they not go out of the holy place into the utter court, but there they shall lay their garments wherein they minister; for they are holy; and shall put on other garments, and shall approach to those things which are for the people.

15 C ând a terminat de măsurat partea interioară a Casei, m-a condus afară pe poarta de răsărit şi a măsurat de jur împrejur.

Now when he had made an end of measuring the inner house, he brought me forth toward the gate whose prospect is toward the east, and measured it round about.

16 A măsurat partea de răsărit cu trestia de măsurat şi a găsit cinci sute de coţi.

He measured the east side with the measuring reed, five hundred reeds, with the measuring reed round about.

17 A măsurat partea de nord cu trestia de măsurat şi a găsit cinci sute de coţi.

He measured the north side, five hundred reeds, with the measuring reed round about.

18 A măsurat şi partea de sud cu trestia de măsurat şi a găsit cinci sute de coţi.

He measured the south side, five hundred reeds, with the measuring reed.

19 S -a întors spre partea de apus, a măsurat-o cu trestia de măsurat şi a găsit cinci sute de coţi.

He turned about to the west side, and measured five hundred reeds with the measuring reed.

20 A măsurat zidul celor patru părţi de jur împrejur; lungimea era de cinci sute de coţi, iar lăţimea tot de cinci sute de coţi; el despărţea ce este sfânt de ce este obişnuit.

He measured it by the four sides: it had a wall round about, five hundred reeds long, and five hundred broad, to make a separation between the sanctuary and the profane place.
