1 A nd this is the thing that thou shalt do unto them to hallow them, to minister unto me in the priest’s office: Take one young bullock, and two rams without blemish,

«Questo è quello che farai per consacrarli a me come sacerdoti. Prendi un toro e due montoni senza difetto,

2 a nd unleavened bread, and cakes unleavened tempered with oil, and wafers unleavened anointed with oil: of wheaten flour shalt thou make them.

dei pani azzimi, delle focacce senza lievito impastate con olio e delle gallette senza lievito unte d’olio; farai tutte queste cose di fior di farina di grano.

3 A nd thou shalt put them into one basket, and bring them in the basket, with the bullock and the two rams.

Le metterai in un paniere e le offrirai nel paniere insieme al toro e ai due montoni.

4 A nd Aaron and his sons thou shalt bring unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and shalt wash them with water.

Farai avvicinare Aaronne e i suoi figli all’ingresso della tenda di convegno e li laverai con acqua.

5 A nd thou shalt take the garments, and put upon Aaron the coat, and the robe of the ephod, and the ephod, and the breastplate, and gird him with the curious girdle of the ephod:

Poi prenderai i paramenti e vestirai Aaronne della tunica, del manto dell’efod, dell’efod e del pettorale e lo cingerai della cintura artistica dell’efod.

6 a nd thou shalt put the mitre upon his head, and put the holy crown upon the mitre.

Gli porrai in capo il turbante e metterai sul turbante il santo diadema.

7 T hen shalt thou take the anointing oil, and pour it upon his head, and anoint him.

Poi prenderai l’olio dell’unzione, glielo spanderai sul capo e l’ungerai.

8 A nd thou shalt bring his sons, and put coats upon them.

Farai quindi avvicinare i suoi figli e li vestirai delle tuniche.

9 A nd thou shalt gird them with girdles, Aaron and his sons, and put the bonnets on them: and the priest’s office shall be theirs for a perpetual statute: and thou shalt consecrate Aaron and his sons.

Cingerai Aaronne e i suoi figli con delle cinture e assicurerai sul loro capo delle mitre, e il sacerdozio apparterrà loro per legge perenne. Così consacrerai Aaronne e i suoi figli.

10 A nd thou shalt cause a bullock to be brought before the tabernacle of the congregation: and Aaron and his sons shall put their hands upon the head of the bullock.

Poi farai avvicinare il toro davanti alla tenda di convegno; Aaronne e i suoi figli poseranno le mani sul capo del toro.

11 A nd thou shalt kill the bullock before the Lord, by the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

Sgozzerai il toro davanti al Signore, all’ingresso della tenda di convegno.

12 A nd thou shalt take of the blood of the bullock, and put it upon the horns of the altar with thy finger, and pour all the blood beside the bottom of the altar.

Prenderai del sangue del toro e ne metterai col dito sui corni dell’altare e spargerai tutto il sangue ai piedi dell’altare.

13 A nd thou shalt take all the fat that covereth the inwards, and the caul that is above the liver, and the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, and burn them upon the altar.

Prenderai pure tutto il grasso che copre le interiora, la rete che è sopra il fegato, i due rognoni e il grasso che c’è sopra, e farai fumare tutto sull’altare.

14 B ut the flesh of the bullock, and his skin, and his dung, shalt thou burn with fire without the camp: it is a sin offering.

Ma la carne del toro, la sua pelle e i suoi escrementi li brucerai con il fuoco fuori dell’accampamento: è un sacrificio di espiazione.

15 T hou shalt also take one ram; and Aaron and his sons shall put their hands upon the head of the ram.

Poi prenderai uno dei montoni; Aaronne e i suoi figli poseranno le mani sul capo del montone.

16 A nd thou shalt slay the ram, and thou shalt take his blood, and sprinkle it round about upon the altar.

Sgozzerai il montone, ne prenderai il sangue e lo spargerai sull’altare, tutto intorno.

17 A nd thou shalt cut the ram in pieces, and wash the inwards of him, and his legs, and put them unto his pieces, and unto his head.

Poi farai a pezzi il montone, laverai le sue interiora e le sue zampe, e le metterai sui pezzi e sulla sua testa.

18 A nd thou shalt burn the whole ram upon the altar: it is a burnt offering unto the Lord: it is a sweet savour, an offering made by fire unto the Lord.

Farai fumare tutto il montone sull’altare: è un olocausto al Signore; è un sacrificio di profumo soave fatto mediante il fuoco al Signore.

19 A nd thou shalt take the other ram; and Aaron and his sons shall put their hands upon the head of the ram.

Poi prenderai l’altro montone, e Aaronne e i suoi figli poseranno le mani sul capo del montone.

20 T hen shalt thou kill the ram, and take of his blood, and put it upon the tip of the right ear of Aaron, and upon the tip of the right ear of his sons, and upon the thumb of their right hand, and upon the great toe of their right foot, and sprinkle the blood upon the altar round about.

Sgozzerai il montone, prenderai del suo sangue e lo metterai sull’estremità dell’orecchio destro di Aaronne e sull’estremità dell’orecchio destro dei suoi figli, sul pollice della loro mano destra e sull’alluce del loro piede destro, e spargerai il sangue sull’altare, tutto intorno.

21 A nd thou shalt take of the blood that is upon the altar, and of the anointing oil, and sprinkle it upon Aaron, and upon his garments, and upon his sons, and upon the garments of his sons with him: and he shall be hallowed, and his garments, and his sons, and his sons’ garments with him.

Prenderai del sangue che è sull’altare, dell’olio dell’unzione e ne spruzzerai su Aaronne e sui suoi paramenti, sui suoi figli e sui paramenti dei suoi figli con lui. Così saranno consacrati lui e i suoi paramenti, e insieme a lui i suoi figli e i loro paramenti.

22 A lso thou shalt take of the ram the fat and the rump, and the fat that covereth the inwards, and the caul above the liver, and the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, and the right shoulder; for it is a ram of consecration:

Prenderai pure il grasso del montone, la coda, il grasso che copre le interiora, la rete del fegato, i due rognoni, il grasso che vi è sopra e la coscia destra, perché è un montone di consacrazione;

23 a nd one loaf of bread, and one cake of oiled bread, and one wafer out of the basket of the unleavened bread that is before the Lord:

prenderai anche un pane, una focaccia all’olio e una galletta dal paniere degli azzimi che è davanti al Signore;

24 a nd thou shalt put all in the hands of Aaron, and in the hands of his sons; and shalt wave them for a wave offering before the Lord.

porrai tutte queste cose sulle palme delle mani di Aaronne e sulle palme delle mani dei suoi figli e le agiterai come offerta agitata davanti al Signore.

25 A nd thou shalt receive them of their hands, and burn them upon the altar for a burnt offering, for a sweet savour before the Lord: it is an offering made by fire unto the Lord.

Poi le prenderai dalle loro mani e le brucerai sull’altare sopra l’olocausto, come un profumo soave davanti al Signore; è un sacrificio fatto, mediante il fuoco, al Signore.

26 A nd thou shalt take the breast of the ram of Aaron’s consecration, and wave it for a wave offering before the Lord: and it shall be thy part.

Prenderai il petto del montone che sarà servito alla consacrazione di Aaronne e lo agiterai come offerta agitata davanti al Signore; questa sarà la tua parte.

27 A nd thou shalt sanctify the breast of the wave offering, and the shoulder of the heave offering, which is waved, and which is heaved up, of the ram of the consecration, even of that which is for Aaron, and of that which is for his sons:

Consacrerai, di ciò che spetta ad Aaronne e ai suoi figli, il petto dell’offerta agitata e la coscia dell’offerta elevata: vale a dire, ciò che del montone della consacrazione sarà stato agitato ed elevato;

28 a nd it shall be Aaron’s and his sons’ by a statute for ever from the children of Israel: for it is an heave offering: and it shall be an heave offering from the children of Israel of the sacrifice of their peace offerings, even their heave offering unto the Lord.

esso apparterrà ad Aaronne e ai suoi figli, come legge perenne, per i figli d’Israele; poiché è un’offerta fatta per elevazione. Sarà un’offerta fatta per elevazione dai figli d’Israele nei loro sacrifici di riconoscenza: la loro offerta per elevazione sarà per il Signore.

29 A nd the holy garments of Aaron shall be his sons’ after him, to be anointed therein, and to be consecrated in them.

I paramenti sacri di Aaronne saranno, dopo di lui, per i suoi figli, che li indosseranno all’atto della loro unzione e della loro consacrazione.

30 A nd that son that is priest in his stead shall put them on seven days, when he cometh into the tabernacle of the congregation to minister in the holy place.

Quello dei suoi figli che gli succederà nel sacerdozio li indosserà per sette giorni quando entrerà nella tenda di convegno per fare il servizio nel luogo santo.

31 A nd thou shalt take the ram of the consecration, and seethe his flesh in the holy place.

Poi prenderai il montone della consacrazione e ne farai cuocere la carne in un luogo santo;

32 A nd Aaron and his sons shall eat the flesh of the ram, and the bread that is in the basket, by the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

Aaronne e i suoi figli mangeranno, all’ingresso della tenda di convegno, la carne del montone e il pane che sarà nel paniere.

33 A nd they shall eat those things wherewith the atonement was made, to consecrate and to sanctify them: but a stranger shall not eat thereof, because they are holy.

Mangeranno queste cose con cui è stata fatta l’espiazione per consacrarli e santificarli; ma nessun estraneo ne mangerà, perché sono cose sante.

34 A nd if ought of the flesh of the consecrations, or of the bread, remain unto the morning, then thou shalt burn the remainder with fire: it shall not be eaten, because it is holy.

E se avanzerà carne della consacrazione o pane fino alla mattina dopo, brucerai quel resto con il fuoco; non lo si mangerà, perché è cosa santa.

35 A nd thus shalt thou do unto Aaron, and to his sons, according to all things which I have commanded thee: seven days shalt thou consecrate them.

Eseguirai dunque, riguardo ad Aaronne e ai suoi figli, tutto quello che ti ho ordinato: li consacrerai in sette giorni.

36 A nd thou shalt offer every day a bullock for a sin offering for atonement: and thou shalt cleanse the altar, when thou hast made an atonement for it, and thou shalt anoint it, to sanctify it.

Ogni giorno offrirai un toro come sacrificio di espiazione, per fare l’espiazione; purificherai l’altare mediante questa tua espiazione, e lo ungerai per consacrarlo.

37 S even days thou shalt make an atonement for the altar, and sanctify it; and it shall be an altar most holy: whatsoever toucheth the altar shall be holy.

Per sette giorni farai l’espiazione dell’altare, lo santificherai e l’altare sarà santissimo: tutto ciò che toccherà l’altare sarà santo. L’offerta quotidiana

38 N ow this is that which thou shalt offer upon the altar; two lambs of the first year day by day continually.

«Or questo è ciò che offrirai sull’altare: due agnelli di un anno, ogni giorno, sempre.

39 T he one lamb thou shalt offer in the morning; and the other lamb thou shalt offer at even:

Uno degli agnelli lo offrirai la mattina e l’altro lo offrirai sull’imbrunire.

40 a nd with the one lamb a tenth deal of flour mingled with the fourth part of an hin of beaten oil; and the fourth part of an hin of wine for a drink offering.

Con il primo agnello offrirai la decima parte di un efa di fior di farina impastata con la quarta parte di un hin di olio vergine e una libazione di un quarto di hin di vino.

41 A nd the other lamb thou shalt offer at even, and shalt do thereto according to the meat offering of the morning, and according to the drink offering thereof, for a sweet savour, an offering made by fire unto the Lord.

Il secondo agnello lo offrirai sull’imbrunire; lo accompagnerai con la stessa oblazione e con la stessa libazione della mattina; è un sacrificio di profumo soave offerto mediante il fuoco al Signore.

42 T his shall be a continual burnt offering throughout your generations at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the Lord: where I will meet you, to speak there unto thee.

Sarà l’olocausto quotidiano offerto dai vostri discendenti, all’ingresso della tenda di convegno, davanti al Signore, dove io vi incontrerò per parlare con te.

43 A nd there I will meet with the children of Israel, and the tabernacle shall be sanctified by my glory.

Lì mi troverò con i figli d’Israele e la tenda sarà santificata dalla mia gloria.

44 A nd I will sanctify the tabernacle of the congregation, and the altar: I will sanctify also both Aaron and his sons, to minister to me in the priest’s office.

Santificherò la tenda di convegno e l’altare; anche Aaronne e i suoi figli santificherò, perché mi servano come sacerdoti.

45 A nd I will dwell among the children of Israel, and will be their God.

Abiterò in mezzo ai figli d’Israele e sarò il loro Dio.

46 A nd they shall know that I am the Lord their God, that brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, that I may dwell among them: I am the Lord their God.

Essi conosceranno che io sono il Signore, il loro Dio; li ho fatti uscire dal paese d’Egitto per abitare in mezzo a loro. Io sono il Signore, il loro Dio.
