1 A nd the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

Il Signore disse ancora a Mosè:

2 S peak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a soul shall sin through ignorance against any of the commandments of the Lord concerning things which ought not to be done, and shall do against any of them:

«Parla ai figli d’Israele e di’ loro: “Quando qualcuno avrà peccato per errore e avrà fatto qualcuna delle cose che il Signore ha vietato di fare,

3 i f the priest that is anointed do sin according to the sin of the people; then let him bring for his sin, which he hath sinned, a young bullock without blemish unto the Lord for a sin offering.

se colui che ha peccato è il sacerdote che ha ricevuto l’unzione e in tal modo ha reso colpevole il popolo, egli offrirà al Signore, per il peccato commesso, un toro senza difetto, come sacrificio espiatorio.

4 A nd he shall bring the bullock unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the Lord; and shall lay his hand upon the bullock’s head, and kill the bullock before the Lord.

Condurrà il toro all’ingresso della tenda di convegno davanti al Signore, poserà la mano sulla sua testa e lo sgozzerà davanti al Signore.

5 A nd the priest that is anointed shall take of the bullock’s blood, and bring it to the tabernacle of the congregation:

Poi il sacerdote che ha ricevuto l’unzione prenderà del sangue del toro, lo porterà dentro la tenda di convegno,

6 a nd the priest shall dip his finger in the blood, and sprinkle of the blood seven times before the Lord, before the vail of the sanctuary.

intingerà il dito nel sangue e aspergerà quel sangue sette volte davanti al Signore di fronte alla cortina del santuario.

7 A nd the priest shall put some of the blood upon the horns of the altar of sweet incense before the Lord, which is in the tabernacle of the congregation; and shall pour all the blood of the bullock at the bottom of the altar of the burnt offering, which is at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

Il sacerdote quindi metterà di quel sangue sui corni dell’altare dell’incenso aromatico, altare che è davanti al Signore nella tenda di convegno; e spargerà tutto il sangue del toro ai piedi dell’altare degli olocausti, che è all’ingresso della tenda di convegno.

8 A nd he shall take off from it all the fat of the bullock for the sin offering; the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards,

Toglierà dal toro del sacrificio per il peccato tutto il grasso, il grasso che copre le interiora e vi aderisce,

9 a nd the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, which is by the flanks, and the caul above the liver, with the kidneys, it shall he take away,

i due rognoni e il grasso che c’è sopra e che copre i fianchi,

10 a s it was taken off from the bullock of the sacrifice of peace offerings: and the priest shall burn them upon the altar of the burnt offering.

la rete del fegato, da staccarsi insieme ai rognoni, nello stesso modo in cui queste parti si tolgono dai bovini del sacrificio di riconoscenza; il sacerdote le farà bruciare sull’altare degli olocausti.

11 A nd the skin of the bullock, and all his flesh, with his head, and with his legs, and his inwards, and his dung,

Ma la pelle del toro e tutta la sua carne, con la testa, le gambe, le interiora e gli escrementi,

12 e ven the whole bullock shall he carry forth without the camp unto a clean place, where the ashes are poured out, and burn him on the wood with fire: where the ashes are poured out shall he be burnt.

cioè tutto il resto del toro, lo porterà fuori dell’accampamento, in un luogo puro, dove si gettano le ceneri e lo brucerà con il fuoco, su della legna sopra il mucchio delle ceneri.

13 A nd if the whole congregation of Israel sin through ignorance, and the thing be hid from the eyes of the assembly, and they have done somewhat against any of the commandments of the Lord concerning things which should not be done, and are guilty;

«“Se tutta la comunità d’Israele ha peccato per errore, senza accorgersene, e ha fatto qualcuna delle cose che il Signore ha vietato di fare, rendendosi così colpevole,

14 w hen the sin, which they have sinned against it, is known, then the congregation shall offer a young bullock for the sin, and bring him before the tabernacle of the congregation.

quando il peccato che ha commesso viene conosciuto, la comunità offrirà, come sacrificio espiatorio, un toro, che condurrà davanti alla tenda di convegno.

15 A nd the elders of the congregation shall lay their hands upon the head of the bullock before the Lord: and the bullock shall be killed before the Lord.

Gli anziani della comunità poseranno le mani sulla testa del toro davanti al Signore; e il toro sarà sgozzato davanti al Signore.

16 A nd the priest that is anointed shall bring of the bullock’s blood to the tabernacle of the congregation:

Poi il sacerdote, che ha ricevuto l’unzione, porterà del sangue del toro dentro la tenda di convegno;

17 a nd the priest shall dip his finger in some of the blood, and sprinkle it seven times before the Lord, even before the vail.

il sacerdote intingerà il dito nel sangue e farà sette aspersioni davanti al Signore, di fronte alla cortina.

18 A nd he shall put some of the blood upon the horns of the altar which is before the Lord, that is in the tabernacle of the congregation, and shall pour out all the blood at the bottom of the altar of the burnt offering, which is at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

Metterà di quel sangue sui corni dell’altare che è davanti al Signore, nella tenda di convegno; spargerà tutto il sangue ai piedi dell’altare dell’olocausto, che è all’ingresso della tenda di convegno.

19 A nd he shall take all his fat from him, and burn it upon the altar.

Toglierà dal toro tutto il grasso e lo brucerà sull’altare.

20 A nd he shall do with the bullock as he did with the bullock for a sin offering, so shall he do with this: and the priest shall make an atonement for them, and it shall be forgiven them.

Farà con questo toro come ha fatto con il toro offerto quale sacrificio espiatorio. Così il sacerdote farà l’espiazione per la comunità e le sarà perdonato.

21 A nd he shall carry forth the bullock without the camp, and burn him as he burned the first bullock: it is a sin offering for the congregation.

Poi porterà tutto il resto del toro fuori del campo e lo brucerà come ha bruciato il toro precedente. Questo è il sacrificio espiatorio per l’assemblea.

22 W hen a ruler hath sinned, and done somewhat through ignorance against any of the commandments of the Lord his God concerning things which should not be done, and is guilty;

«“Se uno dei capi ha peccato, facendo per errore qualcosa che il Signore suo Dio ha vietato di fare e si è così reso colpevole,

23 o r if his sin, wherein he hath sinned, come to his knowledge; he shall bring his offering, a kid of the goats, a male without blemish:

quando gli sarà fatto conoscere il peccato che ha commesso, condurrà come sua offerta un capro, un maschio fra le capre, senza difetto.

24 a nd he shall lay his hand upon the head of the goat, and kill it in the place where they kill the burnt offering before the Lord: it is a sin offering.

Poserà la mano sulla testa del capro e lo sgozzerà nel luogo dove si sgozzano gli olocausti, davanti al Signore. È un sacrificio espiatorio.

25 A nd the priest shall take of the blood of the sin offering with his finger, and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt offering, and shall pour out his blood at the bottom of the altar of burnt offering.

Poi il sacerdote prenderà con il suo dito del sangue del sacrificio espiatorio, lo metterà sui corni dell’altare degli olocausti e spargerà il sangue del capro ai piedi dell’altare dell’olocausto;

26 A nd he shall burn all his fat upon the altar, as the fat of the sacrifice of peace offerings: and the priest shall make an atonement for him as concerning his sin, and it shall be forgiven him.

farà poi fumare tutto il grasso del capro sull’altare, come ha fatto con il grasso del sacrificio di riconoscenza. Così il sacerdote farà l’espiazione per il suo peccato e gli sarà perdonato.

27 A nd if any one of the common people sin through ignorance, while he doeth somewhat against any of the commandments of the Lord concerning things which ought not to be done, and be guilty;

Se qualcuno del popolo pecca per errore e fa qualcosa che il Signore ha vietato di fare, rendendosi colpevole,

28 o r if his sin, which he hath sinned, come to his knowledge: then he shall bring his offering, a kid of the goats, a female without blemish, for his sin which he hath sinned.

quando gli sarà fatto conoscere il peccato che ha commesso, condurrà come sua offerta una capra, una femmina senza difetto, per il peccato che ha commesso.

29 A nd he shall lay his hand upon the head of the sin offering, and slay the sin offering in the place of the burnt offering.

Poserà la mano sulla testa della vittima e la sgozzerà nel luogo dove si sgozzano gli olocausti.

30 A nd the priest shall take of the blood thereof with his finger, and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt offering, and shall pour out all the blood thereof at the bottom of the altar.

Poi il sacerdote prenderà con il suo dito del sangue della capra, lo metterà sui corni dell’altare dell’olocausto e spargerà tutto il sangue della capra ai piedi dell’altare.

31 A nd he shall take away all the fat thereof, as the fat is taken away from off the sacrifice of peace offerings; and the priest shall burn it upon the altar for a sweet savour unto the Lord; and the priest shall make an atonement for him, and it shall be forgiven him.

Il sacerdote toglierà tutto il grasso dalla capra, come si toglie il grasso dal sacrificio di riconoscenza, e lo farà bruciare sull’altare come un profumo soave per il Signore. Così il sacerdote farà l’espiazione per quel tale e gli sarà perdonato.

32 A nd if he bring a lamb for a sin offering, he shall bring it a female without blemish.

Se questi invece porterà un agnello come suo sacrificio espiatorio, dovrà portare una femmina senza difetto.

33 A nd he shall lay his hand upon the head of the sin offering, and slay it for a sin offering in the place where they kill the burnt offering.

Poserà la mano sulla testa dell’agnello e lo sgozzerà come sacrificio espiatorio nel luogo dove si sgozzano gli olocausti.

34 A nd the priest shall take of the blood of the sin offering with his finger, and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt offering, and shall pour out all the blood thereof at the bottom of the altar:

Poi il sacerdote prenderà con il suo dito del sangue del sacrificio espiatorio e lo metterà sui corni dell’altare dell’olocausto e spargerà tutto il sangue della vittima ai piedi dell’altare;

35 a nd he shall take away all the fat thereof, as the fat of the lamb is taken away from the sacrifice of the peace offerings; and the priest shall burn them upon the altar, according to the offerings made by fire unto the Lord: and the priest shall make an atonement for his sin that he hath committed, and it shall be forgiven him.

toglierà dalla vittima tutto il grasso, come si toglie il grasso dall’agnello del sacrificio di riconoscenza, e il sacerdote lo farà bruciare sull’altare, sopra i sacrifici consumati dal fuoco per il Signore. Così il sacerdote farà per quel tale l’espiazione del peccato che ha commesso e gli sarà perdonato.
