1 A nd he made the altar of burnt offering of shittim wood: five cubits was the length thereof, and five cubits the breadth thereof; it was foursquare; and three cubits the height thereof.

2 A nd he made the horns thereof on the four corners of it; the horns thereof were of the same: and he overlaid it with brass.

3 A nd he made all the vessels of the altar, the pots, and the shovels, and the basons, and the fleshhooks, and the firepans: all the vessels thereof made he of brass.

Fece pure tutti gli utensili dell’altare: i vasi per le ceneri, le palette, i catini, i forchettoni, i bracieri; tutti i suoi utensili li fece di bronzo.

4 A nd he made for the altar a brasen grate of network under the compass thereof beneath unto the midst of it.

Fece per l’altare una graticola di bronzo a forma di rete, sotto la cornice, nella parte inferiore, in modo che la rete raggiungesse la metà dell’altezza dell’altare.

5 A nd he cast four rings for the four ends of the grate of brass, to be places for the staves.

Fuse quattro anelli per i quattro angoli della gratella di bronzo, per farvi passare le stanghe.

6 A nd he made the staves of shittim wood, and overlaid them with brass.

Poi fece le stanghe di legno di acacia e le rivestì di bronzo.

7 A nd he put the staves into the rings on the sides of the altar, to bear it withal; he made the altar hollow with boards.

Fece passare le stanghe per gli anelli, ai lati dell’altare, le quali dovevano servire a portarlo; lo fece di tavole, vuoto.

8 A nd he made the laver of brass, and the foot of it of brass, of the lookingglasses of the women assembling, which assembled at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

11 A nd for the north side the hangings were an hundred cubits, their pillars were twenty, and their sockets of brass twenty; the hooks of the pillars and their fillets of silver.

12 A nd for the west side were hangings of fifty cubits, their pillars ten, and their sockets ten; the hooks of the pillars and their fillets of silver.

Dal lato d’occidente c’erano cinquanta cubiti di cortine con le loro dieci colonne e le loro dieci basi; i ganci e le aste delle colonne erano d’argento.

13 A nd for the east side eastward fifty cubits.

16 A ll the hangings of the court round about were of fine twined linen.

17 A nd the sockets for the pillars were of brass; the hooks of the pillars and their fillets of silver; and the overlaying of their chapiters of silver; and all the pillars of the court were filleted with silver.

le basi per le colonne erano di bronzo; i ganci e le aste delle colonne erano d’argento, i capitelli delle colonne erano rivestiti d’argento, e tutte le colonne del cortile erano congiunte con delle aste d’argento.

18 A nd the hanging for the gate of the court was needlework, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen: and twenty cubits was the length, and the height in the breadth was five cubits, answerable to the hangings of the court.

La portiera per l’ingresso del cortile era ricamata, di filo violaceo, porporino, scarlatto, e di lino fino ritorto; aveva una lunghezza di venti cubiti e un’altezza di cinque cubiti, corrispondente alla larghezza delle cortine del cortile.

19 A nd their pillars were four, and their sockets of brass four; their hooks of silver, and the overlaying of their chapiters and their fillets of silver.

Le colonne erano quattro, e quattro le loro basi di bronzo; i loro ganci erano d’argento, i loro capitelli e le loro aste erano rivestiti d’argento.

20 A nd all the pins of the tabernacle, and of the court round about, were of brass.

21 T his is the sum of the tabernacle, even of the tabernacle of testimony, as it was counted, according to the commandment of Moses, for the service of the Levites, by the hand of Ithamar, son to Aaron the priest.

avendo con sé Ooliab, figlio di Aisamac, della tribù di Dan, scultore, disegnatore e ricamatore di stoffe violacee, porporine, scarlatte e di lino fino.

24 A ll the gold that was occupied for the work in all the work of the holy place, even the gold of the offering, was twenty and nine talents, and seven hundred and thirty shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary.

Tutto l’oro che fu impiegato nell’opera per tutti i lavori del santuario, oro delle offerte, fu ventinove talenti e settecentotrenta sicli, secondo il siclo del santuario.

25 A nd the silver of them that were numbered of the congregation was an hundred talents, and a thousand seven hundred and threescore and fifteen shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary:

L’argento di quelli della comunità, dei quali si fece il censimento, fu cento talenti e millesettecentosettantacinque sicli, secondo il siclo del santuario:

26 a bekah for every man, that is, half a shekel, after the shekel of the sanctuary, for every one that went to be numbered, from twenty years old and upward, for six hundred thousand and three thousand and five hundred and fifty men.

un beca a testa, vale a dire mezzo siclo, secondo il siclo del santuario, per ogni uomo compreso nel censimento, dall’età di venti anni in su: cioè, per seicentotremilacinquecentocinquanta uomini.

27 A nd of the hundred talents of silver were cast the sockets of the sanctuary, and the sockets of the vail; an hundred sockets of the hundred talents, a talent for a socket.

I cento talenti d’argento servirono a fondere le basi del santuario e le basi del velo: cento basi per i cento talenti, un talento per base.

28 A nd of the thousand seven hundred seventy and five shekels he made hooks for the pillars, and overlaid their chapiters, and filleted them.

Con i millesettecentosettantacinque sicli si fecero dei ganci per le colonne, si rivestirono i capitelli e si fecero le aste delle colonne.

29 A nd the brass of the offering was seventy talents, and two thousand and four hundred shekels.

Il bronzo delle offerte ammontava a settanta talenti e a duemilaquattrocento sicli.

30 A nd therewith he made the sockets to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and the brasen altar, and the brasen grate for it, and all the vessels of the altar,

Con questi si fecero le basi dell’ingresso della tenda di convegno, l’altare di bronzo con la sua graticola di bronzo e tutti gli utensili dell’altare,

31 a nd the sockets of the court round about, and the sockets of the court gate, and all the pins of the tabernacle, and all the pins of the court round about.
