1 A sí que, hermanos míos, amados y añorados, gozo y corona mía, estén así firmes en el Señor, amados.

Therefore, my brethren dearly beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, my dearly beloved.

2 R uego a Evodia y a Síntique, que vivan en armonía (que sean del mismo sentir) en el Señor.

I beseech Euodias, and beseech Syntyche, that they be of the same mind in the Lord.

3 E n verdad, fiel compañero, también te ruego que ayudes a estas mujeres que han compartido mis luchas en la causa del evangelio, junto con Clemente y los demás colaboradores míos, cuyos nombres están en el Libro de la Vida.

And I intreat thee also, true yokefellow, help those women which laboured with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and with other my fellowlabourers, whose names are in the book of life.

4 R egocíjense en el Señor siempre. Otra vez lo diré: ¡Regocíjense!

Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.

5 L a bondad de ustedes sea conocida de todos los hombres. El Señor está cerca.

Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.

6 P or nada estén afanosos; antes bien, en todo, mediante oración y súplica con acción de gracias, sean dadas a conocer sus peticiones delante de Dios.

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

7 Y la paz de Dios, que sobrepasa todo entendimiento, guardará sus corazones y sus mentes en Cristo Jesús. El Secreto de la Paz

And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

8 P or lo demás, hermanos, todo lo que es verdadero, todo lo digno, todo lo justo, todo lo puro, todo lo amable, todo lo honorable, si hay alguna virtud o algo que merece elogio, en esto mediten.

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

9 L o que también han aprendido y recibido y oído y visto en mí, esto practiquen, y el Dios de paz estará con ustedes. Actitud Ejemplar de Pablo hacia las Cosas Materiales

Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.

10 M e alegré grandemente en el Señor de que ya al fin han reavivado su cuidado para conmigo. En verdad, antes se preocupaban, pero les faltaba la oportunidad.

But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly, that now at the last your care of me hath flourished again; wherein ye were also careful, but ye lacked opportunity.

11 N o que hable porque tenga escasez, pues he aprendido a contentarme cualquiera que sea mi situación.

Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.

12 S é vivir en pobreza (vivir humildemente), y sé vivir en prosperidad. En todo y por todo he aprendido el secreto tanto de estar saciado como de tener hambre, de tener abundancia como de sufrir necesidad.

I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.

13 T odo lo puedo en Cristo que me fortalece.

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

14 S in embargo, han hecho bien en compartir conmigo en mi aflicción.

Notwithstanding ye have well done, that ye did communicate with my affliction.

15 U stedes mismos también saben, Filipenses, que al comienzo de la predicación del evangelio, después que partí de Macedonia, ninguna iglesia compartió conmigo en cuestión de dar y recibir, sino solamente ustedes.

Now ye Philippians know also, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church communicated with me as concerning giving and receiving, but ye only.

16 P orque aun a Tesalónica enviaron dádivas más de una vez para mis necesidades.

For even in Thessalonica ye sent once and again unto my necessity.

17 N o es que busque la dádiva en sí, sino que busco fruto que aumente en su cuenta.

Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account.

18 P ero lo he recibido todo y tengo abundancia. Estoy bien abastecido, habiendo recibido de Epafrodito lo que han enviado: fragante aroma, sacrificio aceptable, agradable a Dios.

But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you, an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, wellpleasing to God.

19 Y mi Dios proveerá a todas sus necesidades, conforme a sus riquezas en gloria en Cristo Jesús.

But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

20 A nuestro Dios y Padre sea la gloria por los siglos de los siglos. Amén. Saludos y Bendición

Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

21 S aluden a todos los santos en Cristo Jesús. Los hermanos que están conmigo los saludan.

Salute every saint in Christ Jesus. The brethren which are with me greet you.

22 T odos los santos los saludan, especialmente los de la casa del César.

All the saints salute you, chiefly they that are of Caesar's household.

23 L a gracia del Señor Jesucristo sea con el espíritu de ustedes.

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
