O sing unto the Lord a new song: sing unto the Lord, all the earth.

2 C antate all'Eterno, benedite il suo nome; annunziate di giorno in giorno la sua salvezza.

Sing unto the Lord, bless his name; shew forth his salvation from day to day.

3 P roclamate la sua gloria fra le nazioni e le sue meraviglie fra tutti i popoli.

Declare his glory among the heathen, his wonders among all people.

4 P oiché l'Eterno è grande e degno di somma lode; egli va temuto sopra tutti gli dèi.

For the Lord is great, and greatly to be praised: he is to be feared above all gods.

5 P oiché tutti gli dèi delle nazioni sono idoli, ma l'Eterno ha fatto i cieli,

For all the gods of the nations are idols: but the Lord made the heavens.

6 S plendore e maestà sono davanti a lui forza e bellezza sono nel suo santuario.

Honour and majesty are before him: strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.

7 D ate all'Eterno, o famiglie dei popoli, date all'Eterno gloria e forza.

Give unto the Lord, O ye kindreds of the people, give unto the Lord glory and strength.

8 D ate all'Eterno la gloria dovuta al suo nome, portategli offerte e venite nei suoi cortili

Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come into his courts.

9 P rostratevi davanti all'Eterno nello splendore della sua SANTITA

O worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth.

10 D ite fra le nazioni: «L'Eterno regna; il mondo è stabilito fermamente e non sarà smosso; egli giudicherà i popoli con rettitudine».

Say among the heathen that the Lord reigneth: the world also shall be established that it shall not be moved: he shall judge the people righteously.

11 S i rallegrino i cieli e gioisca la terra; rumoreggi il mare e tutto ciò che è in esso.

Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof.

12 E sulti la campagna e tutto quello che è in essa. Allora tutti gli alberi della foresta manderanno grida di gioia davanti all'Eterno,

Let the field be joyful, and all that is therein: then shall all the trees of the wood rejoice

13 p erché egli viene, viene a giudicare la terra. Egli giudicherà il mondo con giustizia e i popoli nella sua fedeltà.

before the Lord: for he cometh, for he cometh to judge the earth: he shall judge the world with righteousness, and the people with his truth.
