1 A lleluia, lodate DIO nel suo santuario, lodatelo nel firmamento della sua potenza.

Praise ye the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power.

2 L odatelo per i suoi portenti, lodatelo secondo la sua grandezza.

Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness.

3 L odatelo col suono della tromba, lodatelo con l'arpa e con la cetra.

Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp.

4 L odatelo col tamburello e con la danza, lodatelo con strumenti a corda e a fiato.

Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs.

5 L odatelo con cembali risonanti, lodatelo con cembali squillanti.

Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals.

6 O gni cosa che respira lodi l'Eterno. Alleluia.

Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.
