1 ( 124-1) ^^Песнь восхождения.^^ Надеющийся на Господа, как гора Сион, не подвигнется: пребывает вовек.

They that trust in the Lord shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever.

2 ( 124-2) Горы окрест Иерусалима, а Господь окрест народа Своего отныне и вовек.

As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the Lord is round about his people from henceforth even for ever.

3 ( 124-3) Ибо не оставит жезла нечестивых над жребием праведных, дабы праведные не простерли рук своих к беззаконию.

For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous put forth their hands unto iniquity.

4 ( 124-4) Благотвори, Господи, добрым и правым в сердцах своих;

Do good, O Lord, unto those that be good, and to them that are upright in their hearts.

5 ( 124-5) а совращающихся на кривые пути свои да оставит Господь ходить с делающими беззаконие. Мир на Израиля!

As for such as turn aside unto their crooked ways, the Lord shall lead them forth with the workers of iniquity: but peace shall be upon Israel.
