1 ( 121-1) ^^Песнь восхождения. Давида.^^ Возрадовался я, когда сказали мне: 'пойдем в дом Господень'.

I rejoiced when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of Jehovah.

2 ( 121-2) Вот, стоят ноги наши во вратах твоих, Иерусалим, --

Our feet shall stand within thy gates, O Jerusalem.

3 ( 121-3) Иерусалим, устроенный как город, слитый в одно,

Jerusalem, which art built as a city that is compact together,

4 ( 121-4) куда восходят колена, колена Господни, по закону Израилеву, славить имя Господне.

Whither the tribes go up, the tribes of Jah, a testimony to Israel, to give thanks unto the name of Jehovah.

5 ( 121-5) Там стоят престолы суда, престолы дома Давидова.

For there are set thrones for judgment, the thrones of the house of David.

6 ( 121-6) Просите мира Иерусалиму: да благоденствуют любящие тебя!

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.

7 ( 121-7) Да будет мир в стенах твоих, благоденствие--в чертогах твоих!

Peace be within thy bulwarks, prosperity within thy palaces.

8 ( 121-8) Ради братьев моих и ближних моих говорю я: 'мир тебе!'

For my brethren and companions' sakes I will say, Peace be within thee!

9 ( 121-9) Ради дома Господа, Бога нашего, желаю блага тебе.

Because of the house of Jehovah our God I will seek thy good.
